While I agree some players 'cough cough you know who you are' go to far with pk stuff I think raging and cursing over it maybe is a hint players that become this upset over it should avoid pvp area's and games with open world pvp.
Consider games that have many pvp enabled areas and be glad Eldevin only has one where we have a choice to enter or not enter. I personally avoid games that have open world pvp because I am not a pvp player and don't enjoy being randomly attacked while I play a game and if I enter TA and am having a problem trying to get a daily done or whatever then I just go do something else and don't give the player who wants to attack me over and over a chance to even do so.
I joined the game before they even installed TA so smuggled 'goods' are just a bonus, as are getting the daily done, PL and tokens from the island.
I understand we may want to freely go there without pk but it is what it is and it's very possible to gather outside of ta. I mostly do this and it just requires a bit more patience to so if it takes a bit longer that shouldn't be a big deal though.
I believe we can gain valor from arena stuff if that's something you really want but it's an option.
Glims can be obtained from trades as well as from dungeons even if it's a bit slower without the advantage of VP saving and vanities are just vanities so if you feel you can't gain those there are alternative vanties such as items you can gain from doing reputation dailies.
So there are choices.
Ofc there is the choice to not play a game you are finding frustrating or not enjoyable. This doesn't make a game bad, it just makes a game that isn't for you. hopefully you find a game you do enjoy.

Slow but steady wins the race or something like that.
I'm just taking it slow, not sure about the steady.
