Thanks for the reply Mojawk.

We might seem harsh sometimes but most of us want what's best for the game.

Eldevin can easily compete with games like Runescape,alot of your current players have left RS to play Eldevin (you must be doing something right) and it would be a shame to miss out on being a great game.

Communication is a key aspect even if it's taking note of suggestions with a simple reply it means alot to us, just to let us know we aren't forgotten. The forums also come alive when there's some regular HCS interaction.

I feel sorry for Cowboy I'm sure he's rushed off his feet but what is the reality of hiring more people to help him? I know you all are busy too so maybe you need to hire a few extra hands aswell? This would be more of an investment, I don't know what your finances etc are like but would be definitely worth thinking about.

This would feed the P2W brigade Ant, more staff=more income=more rl money spent on game, certain players would love another reason to claim this is P2W even though they never explain what they mean by that term ;)

I would rather a successful game than a ghost town, I'm not saying HCS should flood us with even more vanity events or go total P2W. I was thinking more people working on the game would be alot more beneficial with faster updates, which would make it an overall better game and draw in more playerbase.

 

I know alot of people who buy EP, this helps the game grow no matter what anybody says but even those people no longer want to waste EP on chests/items because it's a waste of time to be stuck with them. Hopefully AH will help the economy, which they could also do with getting rid of some the vanity that floods the game and give all items a stable worth while price.

 

Everyone has a different opinion what P2W exactly means to them so I won't get into that Fiz <3

 

We won't have much of a game left if everyone quits anyways.

You guys are so happy a developer responded, but did you actually read what he said? More levels, more repeatable dungeons, and more holiday events. That's the same old, same old that's gotten the game in the place it is today. The only thing even applicable to end game content is that Cowboy is working on the guild system, which we already knew.

 

Why are you guys happy about any of this? I suppose this is the difference between hearing and listening. They are reading our ideas and criticisms, but it doesn't affect a single thing being worked on. I could take this post and compare it to when the level cap was 40, or 45 and it would be the same exact thing. Did adding BT and RG create this end game content that everyone wanted, or did it just push it off a little bit? How about ASV and ICC? So, how will the new 3 levels and dungeon?

 

Sorry for being critical. It's nothing personal. However, what needs to be done is a divergence from the norm, not more of it. The response is 90% more of the same. Nothing innovative, nothing that deals with the problems end-game, nothing even remotely innovative or interesting.

this game needs a lot of things

if you guys stopped drawing vanity and maybe drew more armor/weapon ideas up we'd go somewhere

Draw vanity shild and wepon next? i wana made my fabled shild look like the EC kite shild

It's obvious they have no idea what they're doing and it's reflecting on the player base.

I'll post a developer blog as soon as I can with a release date for the next content update.

If possible do one every week.

 

Doesn't have to be super lengthy and dont want you guys to spend too much time on it. But, let us know what is happening :)

Just because the devs haven't implemented your ideas (yet?) doesn't mean they don't know what they're doing, that statements reeks of someone who has been spoilt, 'if i don't get my way i'll cry and throw a tantrum' mature statements and suggestions would have a better chance of being heard by HCS staff.

Yeah, like remember when if it was Mojawk? who posted some teaser images of the hardware rendering... stuff like that would be nice. Can be even a little sneak peek. :P

It's not about implementing my ideas immediately. It's about the last 2 years of input of the same exact manner. Furthermore, input aside, one can never hope to resolve an issue by following the same exact scenario that has failed to resolve the issue a 3rd time now.

 

The community complained about this exact thing over a year ago. "You are just making more and more dungeons, holiday events, and more bosses. Make actual end-game content." Over a year later we get the update, "Adding more dungeons, levels, and holiday event." You can't see the problem here?

I didn't mean just mine, but like almost anyone else's. There's no point in there being a suggestion forums really when they don't want to or don't have the resources to do anything. I'm not throwing a tantrum, just very disappointed.

 

The amount of things that can be easily fixed and given solutions by players is huge, but they implement none of them. They are the ones who seem like spoiled kids, not wanting to change their plans no matter what.

This hit the nail on the head. I was of the same opinion he is just restating WHAT WAS POSTED ALREADY. I see no change to their plans and are just patting a few worried people on the head. What they posted has zero change to concerns raised over and over.

I wouldn't say that I'm "happy", more grateful that the thread didn't get locked like it normally would.

 

Actions speak louder than words, yeah we've heard the same old tune for a long time but if you don't have hope that things will change then all you are left with is watching your friends leaving day by day. This gets draining after a while and eventually we will all be a statistic if carrys on this way.

 

You could compare Eldevin to a cheating girlfriend, you hope that she might change but in the end if she doesn't you get sick of it all and one day just leave because you've had enough of her.

 

I'm not quitting, if I did I would leave silently and wouldn't waste my time posting a quitting/feedback thread. In fact I would no longer worry because I tried my hardest in this "relationship".

 

I'm hoping for the best and expecting the worst and that's all we can do at the minute.
