Heres my wishlist (At rates I would buy):

Mainly for those who want something to help in the ladder:

PvP-

Extend 300 (180min) - 7 Tokens

Demoralize 300 (450min- 5 Tokens

Anti Deflect 300 (450 min)- 5 Tokens

Invert 200 (450 min)- 5 Tokens

Dispel Curse 300 (180min)- 5 Tokens

Smite 300 (450 min)- 5 Tokens

Mainly for those who want to sell off their tokens (Only levelling potions will really ever sell in game):

Levelling-

Librarian 500 (300 min)- 50 Tokens

Adept Learner 400 (300 min)- 30 Tokens

Conserve 600 (300 min)- 50 Tokens

Lightfoot 1500 (600 min)- 30 Tokens

Animal Magnetism 500 (600 min)- 30 Tokens

Overkill 500  (300 min)- 30 Tokens

Doubler 1500 (300 min)- 30 Tokens

All Purpose-

Golden Shield 1000 (300 min)- 30 Tokens

Epic Forge 300 (450 min)- 10 Tokens

Epic Craft 300 (450 min)- 10 Tokens

Token Cost Break Down per potion:

-A ladder reset costs close to 2k stamina (or 1k stamina every day in buffs + attacks).

-So 5 tokens cost roughly 2k stamina (if you rank 1st, otherwise even more)

-1 Stamina is the equivalent of 400 gold (while levelling)

- So then we can conclude that 1 token costs the player 400 stamina (or 160k gold + Xp if hunting with the same stam)

- In addition the amount of tokens added in game (per ladder reset) maxes out at 74 Tokens across all ranges.

- Which is roughly only 37 Tokens a day (so really on avg thats 1 levelling potion per day that can be bought so the value will remain constant).

Therefore:

50T= 20k Stamina (8.0 Mil worth of gold while hunting) + 20 Days (Minimum per player)

30T= 12k Stamina (4.8 Mil worth of gold while hunting) + 12 Days (Minimum per player)

10T= 4k Stamina (1.6 Mil worth of gold while hunting) + 4 Days (Minimum per player)

7T= 2.8k Stamina (1.120 Mil worth of gold while hunting) + 3 Days (Minimum per player)

5T= 2k Stamina (0.8 Mil worth of gold while hunting) + 2 Days (Minimum per player)

I think these are fair prices for the amount of stamina the ladder costs, also for the low amount of tokens added daily. Hopefully the developers can keep this in mind when they price potions because hardly anyone will want to participate if the potions net them less profit than from hunting.

PvP-

Invert 200 (450 min)- 5 Tokens

Dispel Curse 300 (180min)- 5 Tokens

(I really don't think we need more powerfull 'chance' buff, they're extremelly powerfull already)

Levelling-

Conserve 600 (300 min)- 50 Tokens

Lightfoot 1500 (600 min)- 50 Tokens

Animal Magnetism 500 (600 min)- 50 Tokens

Overkill 500  (300 min)- 30 Tokens

CSV600 is way too big, 500 is ok.
LF1500 is a Special Offer thing, 1250 is ok.
AM500 is 100% chance of respawn, 400 is ok.
OK500 should be 400 I think.

All Purpose-

Golden Shield 1000 (300 min)- 30 Tokens
Extremelly powerfull buff, I really don't think we need that high, GS is a way too powerfull chance buff already.

Personally, those are the suggestions I have a problem with...Explaining reasons.

Just tweaked the prices of the new rewards down a bit - I was thinking they were a little high when we added them actually.

Updated costs are:

Greater Cloak [Potion] - 5 PvP Ladder Tokens
Prestigious Brew [Bound Potion] - 15 PvP Ladder Tokens

I think this is about right :)

thank you for small rewards but I think better remove prestigeious brew (prestige 10), if you do pvp then you get prestige but making prestige potion will decrease pvp activity

I explain here:

option 1

10 prestige 120 minutes is minimum 3 reset on ladder

option 2

10 prestige 120 minutes is 1) on ladder many attacks and long time because you get prestige after 3 days from same player 2) on BB you need 800 pvp prestige is 800 attacks on BB

option 2 you have do more pvp activity than option 1 to get same prestige, we want have more pvp activity and more pvp activity we get with option 2

please remove prestigeious brew (prestige) from ladder rewards

I not know about you but I use 2500 to 3000 or more stamina for buffs

I use 10 or more attacks for every player, 1000 stamina for attacking 1 player, more players on ladder then I need more stamina to attack

you said 2000 stamina for ladder reset but you need more

I get 2500 stamina gain in 1 day and use more than 6000 stamina for ladder reset, I lose more than 3500 stamina every day on ladder when using buffs and attacks

achub, you need increase stamina use, not 2000 stamina

I agree, naturally the higher your lv the more players will be compelled to spend more stamina on buffs- mainly because they have more buffs to choose from. Lower ladders are naturally cheaper to play stamina wise since you cant buff yourself much. Thats why I calculated it at those rates, since it cant be worth less than that, if anything more.

I think the levels are somewhat reasonable to be honest. The prestige potion gives +10%Xp at 15 Tokens, if you compare AL 300 (COMPOSING) to AL 400 its a +23% Xp boost (providing both are distilled) for 30 Tokens. I calculated the other potions likewise (by fixing the amount of tokens to the bonus Xp compared to Prestige. Plus its not like these are for free, you'd need to rank first for nearly a month just to get one around 50 Tokens in value, which only 8 people can do at a time. As for the buffs being "high" in level I dont think its out of the question given how expensive they are and arent beyond the highest available donor chest.

The PvP season rewards were just as high (for the exact same skills if not higher) and even then they got 12 at a time. Equating the difficulty of ranking into crystal tier to ranking first for a month in PvP, Im pretty sure most would agree ranking first would be harder (plus you only get 1 potion not 12). 100 people reach crystal but only 8 can get 50+ tokens a month (at most).

Seasons had huge buffs (Dispel Curse 300, Conserve 600, AM 500 just to name a few). Bring valuable buffs like these to the ladder and you will get participation. Plus LF 1500 is really common in the DarkSun chests so I dont see any harm adding it to PvP rewards since Im sure some people have 10+ (I personally have 20+ stored).

The stam cost to play the Ladder is quite high, and the rewards need to reflect that cost. As long time players we know what potions are and aren't worth the stam to obtain it. Whatever Hoof decides he needs to introduce something new while the tide is still moving in a positive direction. And please fix the UI on the PvP attack page. It's frankly horrible compared to the previous tab usable method.

thanks hoof

BUT can you please remove the PvP prestige potion from the rewards - section?

reason is:

thank you for small rewards but I think better remove prestigeious brew (prestige 10), if you do pvp then you get prestige but making prestige potion will decrease pvp activity

+

We've got the poll results for being able to select how much PvP Prestige is used when activating it :)

The results were:

Yes - 881 votes - 51%
No - 248 - 14%
Don't Mind - 608 - 35%

Therefore we are going to look at implementing this :)

we will now be able to choose how much PvP prestige (duration) we want to use when activating it & PvP prestige is gained through only PvP => reflected in our profiles after "each" PvP attack !!!

I think it's fine to have the PvP Prestige potion as a reward on the ladder in addition to how PvP Prestige is normally gained  :)

If you won't allow players to receive Prestige every hit on the Ladder, which I believe they deserve, go ahead and keep it. The only other way to gain Prestige in any meaningful amount is on the BB, 1 Prestige point at a time but as often as you'd like.

You have an average of 50 people(appx) doing ladders and if you give these type of potions for this small amount of activity I think you should make them available for Levelers also.

Now they are asking for high level leveling pots and that completely goes against the composing that people have spent tons of fsp/stam/gold to get to different levels.

There`s still no Pvp going on in these ladders much, just people waiting until they think the reset is close and then maybe hit a few. I dont know where all those votes came from to go back to this but there sure isn`t 800 or so doing ladders now are there. None of the pots should be unbound or the gear either as the rest of the community is apparantly not interested.

Aiming to get some more potion rewards added next week :)

Hoof,

Can we stop adding higher level potions to the game? I don't think it's necessary. Composing already is high enough, and really has broken a lot of the game in terms of PVP advantages, hunting advantages and other things.

Let's think about creating potions that are higher than the buffs available (ie 180+), but are not on epic potion terms. Let's leave the epic potion values to the global events and rewards for purchasing FSP. Let's not keep the trend of the PVP season rewards going on, and let's not create anything that will continue to break the game.

I'm sure most PVP'ers will be more than happy to have rewards that are better than buffs and that have longer durations. If you can have a buff like Shield Wall or something that lasts longer than a person is able to cast the buff, then the potion will be "useful" enough I think. Not sure what others think, but I'm completely against creating more game breaking potions that give buffs that are game-breaking.

Using gear as an example, each time that you bring in a new set, it usually outdates an old set of some type of gear. Each time you bring in new and higher level potions, it out-dates others, and eliminates the need for some potions. Let's try to avoid that by playing these rewards more smart. Mix in the buffs with some composing skills (because not everyone levels composing, or has access to those potions), and give longer durations, so that players are able to keep themselves buffed for longer periods so they aren't as "easy" of a target while they are offline - at work, with life or sleeping.

Thanks,

I would like to see different rewards that would not only encourage pvpers but other play styles (levelers, farmers, ....) to join the pvp ladder

rewards that I would like to see:

  • pvp and hunting crystalline gear with great stats but different durability (for hunting gear low durability because you always use UB and hunt for a "short" time, finish hunting usually before your UB expires; pvp gear medium durability because you use them a lot longer than for hunting and the gear will be used when you are offline too, sometimes with an expired UB and it will lose faster duration that the hunting gear)
  • pvp and leveling bound and unbound potions with diffrent durations (yotekiller post https://forums.hunte...-2#entry944510)
  • frag stashes (being on the pvp ladder and spending stamina and frags for composing pots drains a lot, they can get some frags back with buying frag stashes from the frag shop paying with tokens)
  • upgrades (reserve stamina, max stamina, .....)
  • unique special potions that are only availabe from the pvp ladder  (like a prestige-LIB potion that does only work on prestige or a wrath potion that increases all stats by 5-10%)
  • increasing potion duration with adding extra x tokens (could use same interface as composing without frags but with tokens)
  • EPICS but will need a lot of tokens, long and difficult to get
  • add stamina gain per hour purchase-able with tokens (max 5-10 stamina gain), long and difficult to get (this will encourage other playing styles to go for them too)

I believe the more different rewards for different playing styles are added the more activity the pvp ladder will draw in smile.png

some will go for the frag stashes, others for the sets or stamina gain, everyone has different priorities

please make inventor II not work when inventing pvp ladder gear

I like this options very much

stamina gain need many tokens and keep players for long time on ladder to pvp, this very good

i disagree with all the pots except extend, maybe a few of the pvp buffs at alot lower level with long duration. everything else no, youre going to take everything arena has to offer in terms potions. LF 600,lib 300 doubler 1000 conserve 250....  Also  its not the developers fault if prices plummet or skyrocket its players that do that. Lastly like you stated at the end of the day the best way to make a profit from REWARDS is the 2nd P in pvp so maybe let them have a big input in this instead of knocking leverlers out of this thread this goes out to all the pvper leading the mob

Great idea! There are many ways to incentivize the Ladder. A limited amount of stam gain is a classic demand players have. It only needs time set aside by Hoof to do it.

We have got to find a balance between wants and what would benefit the game.

My suggestions to potions would be:

- Shockwave 225 (180 minutes) (keeping the level average not to outdate the inventable 250 Shockwave pot)

- Stun 250 (180 minutes) (Try to put this skill back to life as it's rarely used by my oppinion)

- Gloat 250 (180 minutes) (maybe with a add buff that increases Master Thief which could only be optained from the specific potion, which would make it quite popular as PvP pot)

- Last Ditch 200 (180 minutes) (as not to outdate the LD225 pot from Arena)

- Spell Breaker 190 (240 minutes) (this could really start a stamina sink for the players whom Desire to stay on top of their respective ladder - would be great for BB too)

- Shatter Armor 300 (180 minutes) (this could be used for SE, Titans as so for PvP)

- Erosion 200 (180 minutes)

- Unbreakable 180 (360 minutes)

- Shame 250 (180 minutes) (Do you dare to take a swing at me? - this could add fun to the "dancing" aspect on the BB)

- Undermine 225 (180 minutes)

I think it's important that we keep the levels avarage as we wish to see the game keep evolve, as the suggested duration would be affect +87,5% by BrewM175
