Is there any way to post the levels of the sets that you've added, or some more information on them - as in level, # of items, what items make up the set (ie is it a ring + shield, helm + rune, etc.?)

But then where's the sense of discovery from going and having a look? :P

True, but I become annoyed if I see new sets come in, and then get there to realize that there isn't anything that I could use or have access to want/need at this time - frustration kicks in ;) lol

Okay, I do like the new sets, thank you for them! And I know that you're trying to integrate different aspects of the game, BUT, the new arena sets require OLD ladder items. Not only does this require ladder tokens but also old LE gear which is very low in stock. Guess we won't be seeing many of these items for a while. Also while the ladder players can buy unbound arena resources to invent their sets, arena players can't buy ladder resources to invent their sets :/

I've dropped the price of the Prana Potion, Strengthening Draft, Bolstering Brew, Brew of Acute Pain & Anchored Brew by 5 points each.

I appreciate the gesture. I really agree with Epic here on this one, and that doesn't happen too often ;) I'm thinking about how often players will be willing to pay for these potions. You might be able to see how many have been purchased so far and I'll bet the number is close to 0 for a reason. The Ladder lasts 24-48 hrs, not every hour, and that's IF you win it for 5 tokens, so the infrequency will not bode well. I like the idea of 5 and 3 tokens being a little more pallatable for what it takes to play in a Ladder.

My guess is we may see an LE event here soon enough to be able to bring in some of these items - hopefully targeted around the LE's that are needed to make these new recipes.

What I really love about this update, is that it should breathe a bit of life into 3 enjoyable aspects of Fallensword. Adds value to old SE items, which in turn should boost SE hunting nicely. Ladder and arena will become more competitive too as people duke it out for components needed for the new sets.

Also love seeing the revival of stam gain on crystaline, used to see many wearing gurgriss and maximus combo's before Epics were released. Really like alot of the recent updates made to the game!

NEW arena recipes require UNBOUND PvP ladder items !!!

the PvP ladder resources are BOUND which are NOT needed in the arena recipe !!!

NEW PvP ladder recipes require BOUND PvP ladder resources !!!

I was thinking this same thing - it gives those PVP players who were hoarding the tokens a nice little way to profit. However, it'll be profit whether it's bound or unbound - as players will flock to sell the PVP items (whether it's after inventing the gear or just the resources themselves).

In the end - those players saving their tokens are the winners - as they'll profit the most out of this.

the same applies to PvP ladder tokens, arena tokens & RP (GvG) !!!

You're exactly right - certain people and guilds will profit if they've been saving. However, GVG and Arena token rewards were unbound, so those items could be sold. PVP items (the ladder rewards) are not unbound, so those few that have the tokens will be able to drive the market.

If PVP ladder rewards were unbound, those who were saving up would profit greatly since they have the biggest banks, but probably less so than if the rewards continue to be bound. On the flip side, if you unbind the rewards from the ladder, in the end, you'll see less participation in the I would assume, as players would just be able to buy the items needed to invent items through waiting and paying rather than participating.

I do see where you guys are coming from. I'll discuss it further with Hoofmaster and we'll see what we see, okay? :)

The only reason i suggest lowering them more is to make these potions more "Meta"... Right now no one is really buying them. People that frequently play the ladder should be able to use them frequently too ;). Believe if the are cheaper more people will buy them and try to sell them. With all these new items people will be solely focusing on the items if the potions are expensive. Don't want the new potions to get overshadowed.

yes, you are right & that is why I think PvP ladder resources should stay BOUND !!!

exactly & it will be the same few players staying on the PvP ladder if they were UNBOUND !!!

Even if the tokens are unbound the market will be "driven" by those that have tokens. We EARNED them. Whether you believe they were earned unfairly, that is your problem. I resent it when players say my years on the Ladder sometimes fighting, sometimes not, sometimes winning, sometimes not, doesn't deserve value for the tokens I've earned. ANYONE could have played the Ladder. Bitterness is what I hear.

They were indeed. However, obviously most of the junk items were thrown into composing to get LE frags.

Thanks. I see where some are coming from when talking about players who have already earned a good number of tokens. Those tokens will disappear the more reasonably priced the reward items are for sale, especially the consumable ones. The nature of merging new items with an old system is that prices will spike for a short while, then will return to more moderate prices. Nobody is getting " game rich" like they have hunting Titans. Those Epics are still much better alternatives.

If they are unbound they are going to be super mass produced opposed to just mass produced...

Noted. I have a hell of a lot of suggestions for the 2000+ ranges, being the most sparse (as is to be expected really.).

As LEs are intended to do now. But it does show that I am tracking this stuff and will bring it to bear. ;)

I tried the ladder. I couldn't do it. Hitting friends just went too against what I play the game for.  But I have nothing but respect for those who have played it over the years and gathered up their rewards, knowing they were basically useless and that they would have to wait for changes. Anyone could have played the ladder and done the same these players did. To complain otherwise is just silly.  Kinda like complaining about a pvp guild that will defend its members just because other big old guilds won't bother.  :P
