Got a response today from HCs "We've got this on our bug list to investigate and fix in the next game update. Thanks for reporting this"

The char is up to lvl44 now and several other quests are not accessable so I did a bit more searching. After alot of running about and looking for quests, it turns out I needed to join the army and council (which I hadn't done as I was just wanting to lvl ste73 up).

Once I had joined both, the perils quest plus all the others I wasn't able to access could then be started.

 

Those having the same problem, check to make sure you have joined both arcane council and army then have another go at accessing the quest.

Thanks gogsy. The daft thing is, perils of dyrads isn't associated to either the council or the army

Reopening this bug report (have reopened the ticket too but not had response from presently open tickets).

 

My next alt has reached lvl36 so gone to start the perils of the dryads quest and gets the same response from colonel knox as I did with previous alt.

 

Any idea when this is likely to be fixed please HCS?

Steve you told me, that you have to join the Eldevin Army and / or Eldevin Arcade first. You forgot?

 

But the colonel shoud say: " Join the ....... first and then i have an awesome challenge for you! See you soon". Thats the real bug, imo.

I haven't forgotten, I am aware of the work round, but players shouldn't need a work round.

 

Any players that don't trawl through the bug report to find this post will not know how to continue with the quests (there are loads of people that don't come on the forum, and alot of the client players don't even know it even exists). It isn't related to eldevin army or council so should be able to complete without having to do other stuff first.

 

It has been waiting to get investigated and fixed since feb/march (coming up to 3months now) and no response from HCS to say whether the investigation showed it was supposed to be like that or not or any answer regarding fixing it.
