I skipped most of the discussion on the first page, particularly 17-20, because it seemed so dead in the water.
I did read page 2 up to here (post 27) even though it went off-topic towards the "profiting guide", which I like and hope the FS Community contributes to.
All that said, I'll move back to the topic though it's beating a dead fish in the water... A point was made about gold which probably more intelligently responds to the issue than I did.
I use 4k stam when "hunting" and get close to 2 million gold. A new player does not get even close to that. Don't forget your origins.
So, yes, it's true that based on current MP prices, those upgrades are less expensive than FSP ones.
But, for me, there are huge assumptions involved in not only whether new players have significant access to that possibility, but whether or not that is, overall, good for the game.
Again, I'm all for gold-sink, but none of this feels right to me. I will openly admit that I could be wrong.
