Stamina Supply Solution - A suggestion

I'm posting this on behalf of a guildmate who at the moment is only able to access the game periodically from his iphone.

 

 

I would like to make a couple of suggestions for new potions to be introduced into the game at some point in the future.

1)  Potion which will give small increments of stamina gain while active. Duration 60 mins. Potion would be player bound. Cost would be high and payable either in FSPs (being the most common game currency and accessible by all level players), or/and allegiance tokens perhaps (which would make players log in on more days).

2) Potion which can be activated after max stamina has been reached to allow max stamina to be increased, to a given set maximum, while the potion is active. Duration 60 mins. Player bound. Cost as above potion.

If these suggestions have been mentioned before in this forum in one form or another, then credit to that OP.  Also, I realise that this would be of a low priority as there are other more pressing updates/fixes still to be carried out in the game. However, my opinion is that since there are now more frequent events in the game the above potions could/would bring more players into the game and also encourage regular players to become more active. One of the biggest downfalls in this game for many players is waiting for stamina to be able to do anything [apart from arena, composing, merchanting... and chatting ofc! ;)]

I'd just like to add to the above post that the stamina-related potions mentioned would be a boon once the FallenSword app is released for mobile phones, encouraging even more continuous gameplay.

And would also make the new HCS proposition of 'Daily Events' even more effective.

Really like these potion ideas. I agree they need to be bound and somewhat expensive. I also think it needs to be considered so it is not game breaking. Nothing too overpowered. Incremented potions is therefore a good idea. Lower powered potions costing much less whereas if you want the more powerful potions with larger effects it costs significantly more.

 

Encourages activity sure... As well as donations. Helps to get the cows backing. :P

 

Really love the allegiance token payment for them as well. Gives us something to do with them. Mine just sit there until I find the occasional chest.

Not too thought out response:

I'd probably support this if, as suggested, it was limited in power and was ONLY added as a donation pot.

Beyond that, on point 2, just in case: there are a lot of buffs/pots in game that do that: Mostly all the enchant item ones increase max stam.

There seems to be an upgrade under the upgrade menu that enables us to get 25 more stamina at the cost of 1 fsp.

As far as I know that goes beyond your max stamina, but correct me if I am wrong. Why not just use that instead of another potions, that may be even more expensive to make?

 

The enchant pots are nice but only viable if the max stamina on the item is high enough to make it worthwhile, as most pay 1-2 fsp for them on the AH. Your epic needs around 140 max stam or more to make it viable for 1 fsp and not including the zombie brew costs then even.
