Hi all,

The following creatures have been spotted stalking the Realms! The heroes have to step up and defend the innocents!

Count Ragf Lokor (Legendary)
9345fe9643e6ac802ae9f4ea528fb360084.jpg?

Count Ragf Lokor is an ancient friend of the Morbidstein Family, allying with them in battle over the centuries of his existence and keeping close (sometimes blood) ties with the twisted Morbidsteins. He currently amuses himself watching the good Doctor creating his monstrosities and supplies him with a steady flow of (drained) corpses for his evil experiments.

Zaria the Vengeful (Legendary)
9351c074bd53e5ed2c8e2732ecd257d73f8.jpg?

Zaria the Vengeful is a terrifying spirit who has been attacking all in her path in a bitter rage. Never-the-less she is a victim herself. Murdered by the evil Doctor Morbidstein wasn't bad enough. He went on to use her corpse in the creation of his masterpiece. His Bride. Will you help put Zaria to her eternal rest and end her suffering?

Recommended Level : 55+

Wolfman of Morbidstein (Legendary)
9364b9b7831615b5a90cb89f0079cf2fcdd.jpg?

The Wolfmen of Morbidstein are one of the Doctors first truly successful creations. Combining the intellect of man with the cunning and senses of the wolf, he sends them out periodically to hunt for fresh material or artifacts that will further his nefarious schemes. The Wolfman is a truly fearsome foe, who attacks in a furious charge of rending talons and slavering jaws.

Recommended Level : 110+

Lustravia the Hedge Witch (Legendary)
9370654d1a1e628aa6041ee0c570c25b96a.jpg?

Lustravia the Hedge Witch is centuries old and a master of natural magics and hexes. Lustravia taught the young Doctor Morbidstein about the uses of magical power and the distilling of vile potions, all of which he has bent to his will for his grandest creation. Lustravia cares not what he is up to, she simply sensed the raw power and malignant intelligence of the Doctor and decided to help him on his way. Her evil must not spread further!

Recommended Level : 193+

Thothmes the Wrathful (Legendary)
938fef9b1c4a78d3bc80d9658a8589444a0.jpg?

After learning all he could from the vile Lustravia, Morbidstein sought out the mighty Thothmes, a Mummy of frightening power. Thothmes saw the hunger for knowledge in the young twisted Doctor and taught him the use of Necromantic Energies and how to bind spirits to items and corpses. He does this as, being immortal, the Doctor could prove to be a useful ally or pawn in Thothmes assault on the disgusting living creatures & humans that infest his domain.

Recommended Level : 364+

The Bride of Morbidstein (Legendary)
939bf551d7be85347828c6aafd00207ebe8.jpg?

The culmination of Doctor Morbidsteins evil pacts and experiments, the Bride is an unholy construct, created from many unfortunate victims (including the tragic Zaria). A mighty opponent, she stands as a testament to a misguided intellect of terrifying scale. She must be destroyed at all costs.

Recommended Level : 484+

Marshman of Morbidstein (Legendary)
1694fb616ebb8212172f4bfcc7212a8253f6.jpg

The Marshman of Morbidstein is a foul beast that was once but a pet tadpole in Dr Morbidsteins lab. It was the only thing he cared for not to experiment on. However tragedy struck when the Tadpole was spilled down a drain by one of the Dr's brainless servants and ended up in a toxic swamp. The Tadpole grew in the swamp and became a dangerous mutant aquatic beast that to this day is still loyal to its master.

Recommended Level : 650+

Valgotic Golem Engine (Legendary)
4269aafb9901d3d266b337c30a7e3cdfd0a5.jpg

The Valgotic Dwarves have not been idle since the destruction of the abominable Doom Maw. Further refinement of their considerable Golem technology, the Golem Engine is a formidable addition to the Valgotic arsenal. This monstrous defensive golem reacts to attack by replicating itself, though this does weaken each new Golem as whatever demonic entity is originally bound to each newborn golem splits the demons soul fire. The blazing red runes in each golems skin glows a little duller. This is seen as an acceptable means of fuelling these new Golems as they have to bind less demons to their original golem stock!

Recommended Level : 1180+

Shanaraq (Legendary)
3846068b25235a24c52b57da212cd691e55f.jpg

Shanaraq is a grotesque creature that rose from the nearby swamps looking for warm flesh and hot blood to quench it's hunger! This strange, slithering creature is remarkably fast on land and is an utter nightmare if you are unfortunate enough meet it in the waters of his home.

Recommended Level : 2075+

Abominus Rex (Legendary)
3872d1c4eb5349b3d8f0fcedfd0133e6321c.jpg

The gargantuan horror known as Abominus Rex appeared without warning, tearing through any who appeared before it. Who created this undead monstrosity is not known (and given the unpredictable nature of Abominus Rex itself, likely never will be), all that is known is the beast's unnatural vitality means it shrugs off many wounds and is all but immune to certain attacks. It's thick hide protects it and any attacks that get through are as likely to glance off hardened bone as they are to do damage.

Abominus Rex must be stopped!

Recommended Level : 2400+

Byaphros (Legendary)
4301cd77d72e6697856a2853afba9a37fa61.jpg

Byaphros is a strange beast. The upper body of a man with a truly monstrous face which, from the waist down is actually the front legs and chest of a horse terminating in a vast, powerful fish's tail. This is a vile and malicious creature who will rear out of water near prey and to the surprise of all, will chase his target onto the land before beating them and dragging them back into the soon to be bloody surf!

Recommended Level : 2880+

These creatures shall be available until 17:00  on Monday the 22nd of August 2016.

Enjoy!

Wow, just saw we have Lengandarys. Then after looking at the first several LEs. I was starting to think it was Halloween, and I had severely over slept :P

Seeing the time and the fact that they are still active, I'm worried that I might have to go through Monday in RL again tomorrow. ,oP

Wow, so are Legendaries still running around? O___+

Let's hope the cows are on vacation. If anybody in Scotland could throw them the number of a temp agency, might be helpful. ,oP

But guessing the farmers like it at lease, hehe.

and they're still there 26.5 hr after announced departure time.

I'm gonna run with BG being generous to those farming 'em as opposed to another forgotten switch-off :)

Homer : Marge, don't discourage the boy. Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals .. except the weasel.

Eddie Izzard : The National Rifle Association say that guns don't kill people, people do. But I think the gun helps, you know ? I think it helps. I think just standing there going "BANG" - that's not going to kill too many people, is it ?

I don't mean to sound pessimistic, but it seems that everything I eat lately turns to poo ...

Well if the office has not been opened since Friday. Let us hope that all is well, and nothing serious has caused the delay

Was thinking the same cucu... BG offline for over four days.

Grant, it... he "could" have a vacation.... not sure why that would affect the off button though.

All that said... next run, hope the LE is NOT added to the the game update.

That made a lot of us miss the LE announcement (as it was sneakily added in to the game update). And getting to this post on the actual topic is random as the "home page announcement" only leads to the game update part.

Wait a minute. Stop. Are you honestly telling me that you did not know the legendaries were out? What are you playing on? I've played on a couple laptops the computer at the library and my phone. The whole time the LEs were out, everytime I log on the first thing I saw when the screen popped up was pictures of LEs.

That's like all the people who told me that they didn't know that they had to go to the Shoppers Grove in the middle of the springtime Forest to get the Easter baskets when it was clearly posted in bold letters on the homepage. Wish I had a dollar for all the people who asked me where to get an Easter basket. The same goes every time the pinatas come out, during Halloween. No one seems to know that they have to go to the cathedral to get those items that they need for those Global's. Yet every time it's on the homepage. As I said before over the last 5, days everytime I log on I saw pictures of the LEs. Maybe my phone and computer is just better than yours, though I doubt it.

And yeah. I'm on holiday. Will still poke my head in from time to time.

I hope you enjoy your holiday :-)

The game update was announced. It did not include the LE.

The LE was later added to the thread. No new home page news notification was published.

I did end up seeing it, but I can see how others would miss it.

Beyond that, the link from Home page to FS Forum only takes you to the Update thread, not the LE thread.

Seems logical, to me at least, that these would be two separate announcements with two separate links to the appropriate forum threads.

I agree though it is hardly the most difficult task to find the LE announcement I feel for some people it's own post would be ideal. But really it's hardly the biggest issue. Just makes things clearer for some who happen to miss it. :)

Totally agree, but HCS is running the game. They should be efficient.

"Not so hard" for either you or me or many others probably, blah, blah.

But I often get tons of pms with questions, from Guildies/Allies and players I don't even know and also see them in the Global Chat. Don't confuse your experience with what is "known".

This post was not at all meant to be "griping", but constructive criticism.

It's not a huge issue for me personally, but I think about others. A newer player looking for the LEs? What do they know about the Forum?

For the record, the critique/suggestion is:

Unrelated announcements need to be separated. This is relevant because each post needs to go to the correct thread for relevant discussion.

Personally, I'd love to see new players asking where Legendaries are (in this example) and getting qualified responses.

That's it.

*Post*

Agreed.

Small tweak for a little greater clarity for those who don't visit the forum and infrequently check the home page.

I think for the most part if people were to post asking about LE's and their relevant spawn etc, most people would endeavour to help them. Emphasis on most. :P

yeah, I don't really think this was the norm. Probably an adverse effect of BG being on holiday. Too bad HCS didn't plan for it.

And yes, agree on the help factor. I get why players don't, but probably more than half of that is them not seeing the forums and those would. And let me tell ya... if I see people asking, I'd put the word out, lol.

EDIT: BG even has said in the past that he agrees that it's what he'd like to see ,OP
