I wonder why you say that?

 

I say that because that's not the buffs function. Titan Doubler is for TKP gain. Not Quests. 

 

Quest Hunter works on the Elemental Titans for example as they are needed for quests.

I thought Titan Doubler was implemented to speed up Titan Hunting, thus lowering their HP faster. Result of that is that TKP gain went up as a counter effect.

With that reasoning, it would not be strange if it would count during a DQ. Not saying that it should, but it could.  :P

TKP gain is the same as the stamina used. 

 

Again, Titan Doubler should not work work with quest kills. That's what the Quest Hunter buff is specifically designed for.

That is not true, what if Conserve kicks in?

Then TKP gain is not same as stamina used. Still comparing these two is like apples and oranges. And it was not the issue, the issue was the reason you mention for implementing the Titan Doubler buff.  :)

 

If the goal is to take off HP from a titan, then it the idea has merrit though, the buff was designed just to do that...

 

Yet the Quest Hunter buff is not working either... I am puzzled now!  :wacko:

For me it asked to defeat 3 of them but when I hit the third I noticed I was still 2/3 on the quest and had to hit a fourth to finish it. All players that I hit last logged in seven hours ago at most, so I think they count as active. I did notice that on one of the hits, there was no Xp loss, so maybe thats the reason? The quest doesnt mention anything about Xp loss being required though.

It could be that you need to refresh the screen. Started happening a few days ago where the screen does not automatically update the counter unless you manually refresh the screen. Although with pvp I guess you are always refreshing the screen :/

I dont know if that might have been the issue, because the first hit updated right after I hit and the quest finished right after the fourth hit. I did wait around and did some refreshing after the 3rd hit but still nothing, so I just went for a fourth. Might just be a one off glitch or the fact that a hit had no Xp loss. No real way to tell though unless it happens to someone again. All hits were about a minute apart so I dont know if its a lag in the server either because everything else seems to be running smoothly right now.

There is no experience loss if a player has PvP protection running.

BigGrim, should the dq update automatically without the refresh?

 

My first ones did, the last two had to be manually refreshed.

We're planning to have the next update ready within the next couple of weeks which will include many new types of Daily Quest and also new rewards for them too :)


See there, naysayers? I told you there would be tweaks and improvements. The cows DO listen, just like I said. And if we all have a little patience and keep on track with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, rather than a lot of whining, squawking and general discontent, we may just get most of what everybody has asked for (within reason, of course.)

Keep on adding new quest is useless..You need do the sorting which doable for low level players ..Please offer a sensible DQ to us ..Not an impossible one

I really like the +max stam quests. :)  Also like the token ones and the reserve stam ones.  The current stam ones are ok too.. :)

 

The current stam ones let me keep going a little longer and I like anything that boosts my stam. Reserve is ...well in reserve. lol

I spent a lot of tokens in my early days of playing, so don't have a lot of those, that's why I like that dq. :)

 

I'm curious about the new additions on the way too. 

 

All in all, I'm happy with what there is so far.

None of the quests are impossible.

 

They are if it asks you to kill x no of mounted creatures when you are nowhere near the level required.

 

These quests need to be conditioned to take into account what you can/can't currently do, and where you can/can't currently reach. I would have been monumentally aggravated if I had been given a DQ that would essentially require me to almost double my level.

 

Then again I get annoyed when I see a pvp DQ, I also get annoyed when adverts come on the telly every 5 minutes, the biscuit breaks when I dunk or when I can hear people outside...

Personally - I just get annoyed when people dunk their biscuit :(
