Having 'Attack = Bounty' in your bio isn't a threat. A player requesting gold / Fallen Sword Points etc. in exchange for not attacking you is not acceptable however.

 

If someone has sent you a threatening message however, please contact our support and we will investigate it.

After the last tool to make creating wiki areas easier and adding the areas up to level 1775 I created a new tool to convert Official Guide Creatures to wiki format:

  • creatures without () in their name don't seem to work. --> temporary fix: rarity not defined

I am not an active FS player anymore, but have hunted a Titan or two in my time... 

 

To SECURE a titan the challenge is to get 50% of the kills, why are people trying to punish the guild that achieves that?

 

If the Titan is secured, why not stick a countdown on that titan?... from moment of secure (guild obtaining 50%), stick a 24 or 48 hour clock on said titan. If no one can be bothered to clear up for the TKP.. then let the Guild that secured it have their kill/drop.

 

They put the effort in, rallied their guild to hunt it... let them have what they earned.

 

Also, the argument of "Big Guilds" monopolizing is silly... My Guild secured many a titan, with 3, 2 sometimes one hunter... and this was a Guild of less than 10 players when it was founded, still securing titans.

 

This is not me talking BS.... Titans are a challenge to be enjoyed, take away that challenge, you should take away titans all together.

Id Just leave this since we have secured and wont get anything for it but I like to finish what I start
 
But it makes a couple good points for this thread,,,,
 
I understand that I should not get TKP and a secure drop for the 51%,,, but why not for the other currently 71% and will end up closer to 85?? Seems like it not only makes sense that we get credit for all kills but getting said credit would be an incentive since I am the only one in here now and still got 700+ kills left. Part of the problem is nobody wants to waste stam for something they earned already.
 
Tweaking TKP to make it easier for the lil guys (cuz I think we are lil guys for all the small guilds complaining they cant titan hunt) is a great idea too.
 
If a guild makes secure AND TKP for a drop just make it so they can turn in both for a 2 wek cooldown,,, or maybe a 10 day just as more incentive for those who do regularly secure everything.
 
Finally,, since epics are ok but to someone like me who gvgs and pvps they are,,, well gator bait. How about keep the current system but create a set at level for each titan, token or coin system to purchase the sets or items to create them and have that too?
People like me would want the sets more than a epic so we would hunt more and hunt for the set parts more than the secure (eliminates that "oh ""that guild"" is here! Ill try next spawn" syndrome,,and yea it happens)
Players are more encouraged to fight it harder and so theres going to be less secures and more TKP races.
Players will be encouraged to keep going even if theres no hope they will ever secure anything other than by TKP

How about a few buffs that make the epics worth hunting with... when coor attack and def came out it made them useless except for stam gain.. maybe a buff that adds a % to the stats  like enchant Epic ... if they are used in hunting the prices will go up

1) on the epic prices problem if you are going to add even  more epics to the game why not try this to get the new epic why not take some of the low cost epics  example (the Writhing Ward)  and some other items that are useless becuse of all the new sets over lapping in the game  nad use them to invent the new epic also give who ever invents them some sort of credit for the dots on the epics used to invent the new epic say 1/3 of the dots back onto the new epic (leave the hammer and steamwork out of the inventing process) doing this option not will only raise the prices of all the epics used it will also remove epics from the game doing this will cycle epics in and out of game so the epics can keep the prices up and also make hunting the titans more active you can also use the do the same thing with other Legendary,Super Elite, Crystalline,and Epic items this will remove items and make it so all items and worth something and players will have to farm them again.

 

Hang on, so you want to use up "old" epics to create new epics that will be worth a LOT more due to novelty / scarcity and maybe stats, AND get a percentage refund on the old epics ?

 

There is nothing wrong with the price of epics as they are now - demand and supply determine the price and lower prices benefit more players than higher prices benefit..

After thinking the things correctly about how to improve this we finished with this...


If we see the GvGs we can use the RP to buy Items and to cast buffs for members during a period of time. So im really sure if we think about how to use the TKP it would boost a bit more the hunts. So my idea is if we can buy buffs with RP we should do the same with TKPS. So for example just an idea if a Fuvayu appears and someone has 1k RP and he really think he can secure it this time he use that 1k RP from Fuvayu as thats the active titan, he cant use other TKP if he is not active. Using that 1k RP would give me idk, LF 250 and Conserve 200. Or for example use 3k TKP or 5k TKP to activate one buff that gives you 2 kills instead of 1 per every hit. So im sure that would boost collecting TKPS. Also there can be different buffs its just an idea, maybe we add that Inmobilise Titan that many players have told with this TKPS buffs. Looking Forward for some answers

There is a fine line between overpowered and not powerful enough when it comes to making buff packs for RP and TKP. Plus some won't be worth the points it takes to buy the potion packs. Just something to consider with your new idea.

Yes, I purposely used the word "weenies" because I believe that's a word that even those under 13 and whose parents are not properly monitoring them as outlined in the FS User Agreement can stomach without having... lol... a cow.

No. It would only be a one time combination recipe for the original scarab rings.

I have added all maps of level 1105-1200 and 1251-1700 with all the information it should have, exept the World Area Map location.

 

To add these I have used this tool: http://fallenswordda...Wiki/index.html

 

You can use it by copying the HTML from the official guide into the top left box and clicking Create Map. It will somethimes ask u to give the Quest or Portal name if there are any. Check the location on official guide and fill in the quest name, nothing or portal. Quest names on that area will be shown in the box quests after u clicked Create Map.

 

If the text on the left didn't disapear after clicking Create Map then there has gone something wrong.

 

If the tool doesn't work and the map images have been added already then u can add the creatures, quest, stair links, etc. manualy.

 

To add links on the map, u have to use the template mapnote (http://wiki.fallensword.com/index.php/Template:MapNote).

 

It is easy to do and I'll give a little explenation.

 

 

Go to wiki, log in and go to the area by searching his name or using the list of areas. Klick edit next to map to edit the map.

The map is built in a table and it has a row and column number. It will look like this:

|- indicates a new row and | indicates a new column in that row
 
Often the link of stairs has the word stair in it so u could look for them with ctrl+F. The first one u get will be the highest most to the left. This can help to speed up the process.
 
Now to add a stair link with mapnote u have to change this:
 
by replacing | with |{{MapNote|image= and at the end u put |target=PAGE TO LINK TO|type=TYPE OF PAGE}}
 
It will look like this then:
|{{MapNote|image=http://huntedcow.cachefly.net/fs/stairways/2143_b.gif|target=PAGE TO LINK TO|type=TYPE OF PAGE}}
 
Now u only need to replace PAGE TO LINK TO with the area name it takes u to and TYPE OF AREA with A for areas and WA for world areas.

Thank you so much guys! I did not know a wiki existed for composing! :)

About 5 people help keeping the composing wiki page up to date and several people have made tools to calculate things like XP, fragment costs, etc...

 

But we need more people to keep the rest of wiki updated.

I have some few suggestions for Titan Logs, I'll post here :)

1 - Titan Kills Log:
Change from 5 to 10, since we have a lot more Titans now, showing the last 5 seems useless for anyone who stay more than 12hrs without log in.

2 - Scout Tower:
Make a upgrade for lvl 4 (not expensive to keep), so the Scout Tower will show more Titans AND (most important) will show the BONUS the guild receive on each Titan.

- I'm the Titan Leader of TED and it's a pain in the a** to keep track of the TKP without the bonus showing, last week an Guardian of Elements took so long to die that when he dies he was not even on Scout Tower anymore.

Maybe something like that:
