#867635 In-guild Pvping

Posted by DomCorvis on 09 May 2014 - 13:40

many many people would use this so long as it was just that... a training/sparring ring type of upgrade. Would be a great way for some of us to teach the new crowd how buffs work/basic pvp mechanics/enhancements/transfers/etc . I'd say normal stam cost/ no xp loss/ no lvl caps. If a lvl 2000 wants to teach a lvl 50 then they should be allowed.....after all its no monetary gain and no harm to anyone.

The same as last time. Additionally, you all have access to Global Booster 750 now. No excuses! Finally, the Shroud and Zorgrom give you more than one kill at base. tongue.png

I only used the lvl 500 global booster, boosted to 525 with small distil potion, and I only had to kill 84 Zogrom Foot Soldiers to hit Ruby qualifying level.  Each kill was worth 55 kills.   I used up 1000 stam but that's only because I did not use lightfoot or AM and just stayed in the area where I already was.  With these high level boosters it should be quite possible to reach the higher number I think.

Hello Grim,
I want to start this post out by saying that I've really enjoyed playing FS over the years and made a lot of good friends from all over the world from it. I'm really impressed with HCS doing there best with keeping the game updated and interesting for everyone who plays it(this can't be an easy task for you guys) and that it takes time to achieve this. Thank you for keeping us up to date on how things are coming along :) The part of FallenSword that I'm completely hooked on is the Arena,in which, I'm looking forward in seeing what updates are coming to it in May.
I started a Forum concerning the Arena, and wouldn't expect any of the ideas posted in my Forum happening any time soon, but would love for HCS to take them into consideration for possible updates down the road. I have been impressed and very thankful to all the players that have responded, given there ideas, and expressed there opinions in my Forum(1,000 thank you's to all of you :) ) I understand your a very busy person, but if you could find the time to review my Forum or let the Great person in charge of the Arena to take a look I would be very grateful to you and HCS for taking the time to look into it.
Thank you Grim and all the Cows for all of your hard work in keeping this game fun and exciting :)

*passes you a lip balm for all that butt-kissing* ;)

Seriously tho, it's nice to see the cows appreciated BEFORE they end up as a steak on a bbq LOL

#856984 Springtime Forest Returns!

Posted by Egami on 23 March 2014 - 03:09

Personally, I have Guildies that can NOT play on the weekend. Guess that just rocked everybody's "me me" world.

Thanks for the event HCS. I did my best to help FS get some perfect sets dirt cheap and actually made some "profit".

Hope everybody had fun. I definitely did and it wouldn't have mattered if I didn't pull in profit.

"Summer time... and the living's easy"... Prosperous smacking everybody! (o0

It is seasonal. Does this occur with the FSHelper switched off?

You must have done something, as I didn't change FSH, but after your response to my ticket my this matter my Seasonal Quest Log is now working.  I would have of course if needed, but it was fixed, and I had re-checked it an hour prior and it wasn't working still at that time.  So again thank you for whatever you did Grim

Sincerely, Kath

You could just switch the numbers around and make it high damage moderate armor as a counter to the other set

I like leos' suggestion. Def dam would be okay too.

High attack low dam I'd vote no as we have the zorgrom sneaky git set with those slots and stats at 1650.

So given three sets with the same slots in 150 levels, one with armour damage, one with attack damage, I would say for distribution's sake def damage would be good. (*cough* heavy on the dam *cough*) Or you could irritate lots of people and switch it to def/arm, or add HP + something - LOL! (the original sets would go up in value.... a bit) Please don't do that.

But if the most painless way is to simply switch armour and damage around as leos has suggested, that will be a fine solution as it will radically alter the set's purpose and uses.

If that could be done for the ooch mess/glacial set stat duplication also...

#855542 Scavenging Event?

BG cited Springtime event is upcoming about 3-4 weeks ago. I figure it should be coming up within the next month... probably a good time to max out your profits on Su Kellos sets now people, lol.

#853524 New Xp formula for Composing needed

Posted by evilbry on 06 March 2014 - 10:52

How about an XP boost feature.

When you creating your potion (skills/level/duration) you have a checkbox you can tick. By ticking this checkbox it will give you an XP boost say 25% or 50%.

What this will mean is if you made a 20xp potion normally it would now return 25xp or 30xp (depending if it's made to be 25% or 50%). The downside is the Frag cost will be increased (suggest doubled).

This could also be aligned with an increase in gold cost as well.
