My family and I found our flight with Frontier Airlines Detroit Terminal through Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) to be surprisingly easy and uncomplicated. We didn't have high expectations because low-cost airlines typically have strict schedules and few extras, but everything went smoothly as soon as we got to the terminal. Although Frontier uses a simple business model, the self-service kiosks were simple to use, the check-in area was clearly marked, and staff members were on hand to assist when necessary. With children in tow, I was impressed by how quick and easy the entire process was; we were able to pass security without feeling hurried and even found a peaceful spot to unwind before boarding.  With lots of seating and easily accessible facilities, the terminal itself was spotless, well-maintained, and suitable for families.
