Melee, ranged, or spell damage. What type of damage does a certain attack from a certain enemy deal? I'd really like to be able to find out that information without having to constantly receive damage and make records.

i see what u mean, it is reasonably fair but then it leaves very little legwork to attain this years new sets which isnt that harmful but a prize hard gained is a prize well cherished etc etc etc( I love cutting off juvis quotes and saying stuff like LETS GO FIND NEMO NOW!)

 While I agree with this somewhat, for those that have already MADE this sequence of stuff every.damn.year. to make a higher set as they progressed up thru the game ranks, I can assure you that I would cherish a set  that I didnt have to start from dead scratch :P

 

I really dont want to be known as that crazy player who mutters "red  crackers.. another red cracker.. bauble.. WRONG bauble.. AUGH..blue cracker cracker CRACKER .. BP is full? AUGH x 2" as Im banging my head. :P

The Santork beasties will be the same but new recipes will be released for you to create two new sets. New recipes, new cracker, new Baubles. 

grim, can you please make a recipe to be able to "convert" the earthen santork set to the new sets?

 

the earthen santork set uses EXACTLY the same amount of items to invent as the new sets

 

to invent earthen santork you need 2 fiery + 2 icy

NEW:

to invent pestilent santork you need 2 fiery + 2 icy

to invent shroud touched santork you need 2 fiery + 2 icy

 

all 3 sets use the same exact number of items to invent, only difference are the new Baubles which can be easily solved

 

make this "convert-recipes":

earthen santork + new Baubles = pestilent santork

earthen santork + new Baubles = shroud touched santork

:)

additionally this new 2 "convert-recipes" are a gold sink too

I like this idea too, but shouldnt the 2 ( old) highest  be used to make the next two? Earthen AND Noxious? It would keep the market steady for Noxious; otherwise it would devalue more

or perhaps a second item in each boss which would be 50% gem 40% flake 10% relic (percentages could vary there)

 

That would give the ability to earn more relics and have more loot.

#897720 Making friend list and alt characters more manageable

It is really tedious sometimes, having to add all your friends alts over and over each time they make a new character. Also seeing 16 people online when it is only one (and 15 alts) seems silly, not to mention how confusing it can be when your friend has 16 characters... who can remember all those? I can just about remember my own! :P

 

I think the whole thing needs an overhaul to become more user friendly.

 

Some suggestions:

 

 

  • Make it a requirement for us to ACCEPT a friend request, before others can add us to their friends list. This is important in the next suggestions for privacy from strangers.
  • Once a friend is added, it will AUTO add all current and future characters they create.
  • The friends list and server screen should include the CHARACTER and MAIN. e.g. "Mongo(Flash)"
  • There is no need to list all of my characters on the server select screen, just the one I am logged with. In the format suggested above "Mongo(Flash)" or if I am logged on my main , just "Mongo"
  • Also I think it would be really great, if someone could just whisper "Mongo" and I would then receive that message, no matter if I am logged on Mongo, Flash or any other character.

 

So basically we are taking our main character name (account) and incorporating that to include every alternate character.

 

Also not sure if you fixed it yet as I have not ignored anyone, but if we add a player to ignore it should include all their present and future characters.

 

If anyone has more suggestions please post, also please post if you think this idea sucks. Thanks.

 

Actually thinking about it think the other way round would be better, so Main(alt). Here is a quick mock up I done of what our friend list would now look like (hope you don't mind me using you as example Razzy) :P

 

So Raziel Is logged on his alt Kainn and has accepted my friend request, I now see this:

Another way to eliminate the need for the preference is to prorate stamina gain each hour based on your normal tick.

Meaning if you have 120 stamina gain for your hour (tick) this is the calculation it uses to disperse your stamina over the next hour. If it was 120 and dispersed every 5 mins you would get 10 stamina every 5 mins regardless of what your wearing until your next tick.

 

That's the idea yeah, and the remainder if it wasn't divisible exactly would be added to tick on the hour.

 

We'll have a think about how to handle the bonus stam gain from items as the aim here isn't to distrupt the way people currently play - initial thought is to just make it work out the total gain that would have been applied over the hour on the hourly tick compared to what was actually allocated and then allocated the difference on the hourly tick (essentially removing the need to add an option to toggle between the two). Don't worry about it however - we'll make sure it works well :)

 

I've seen a few comments about the roadmap and yes I agree it's important and something we're working towards, but I also think its very important that we improve the start of the game for new players by making changes we feel will help them understand the game and grow the community.

 

RebornJedi also made a good point about expanding the tutorial to include newer aspects of the game (such as the Buff Market) and again that is definitely something that is worth looking into.

No. We all get to start all over in regards to the kill # on profiles which I think is bogus considering the amount of work players have put into SE killing!

Can't you at least estimate a player's SE kills based on his % medal progress?

 

Ex:

Defeat at least 50 Super Elites in the realm.

Super Elite Hunter Bronze Progress - 20%

 

Then SE kills = 10

 

 

Also, adding "SE kills" on the main profile page seems to be off. You might as well add "Titan kills" or "Treasure chests opened" too.

 

 

The new 'Search' button in the AH doesn't serve a purpose because when the input textbox loses focus, the search triggers right away.
