Problem with anything new is that within a hr its 1 fsp per item no incentive to farm and if its for frags then anything does all the same when broken down miss the days when Find item didnt work on events lol

I've been preaching for awhile AM shouldn't work and LE should spawn more sparsely

Can this event please get another outing ? - maybe tweaking the rewards to appeal to a wider audience but still keeping the original rewards too as they're needed for inventing purpose.

It's been some time since a the most influential player(s) vote has been held, so I think it's time to bring it back.  Fallen Sword has been with us for years and has helped many of us cope with the struggles of real life.  There has been all sorts of players that have affected positive (sometimes negative) change to our community.  This is your opportunity to vote.  I think it makes the most since to keep it to one category: current active players that have been influential in Fallen Sword.  Rules below.  If you feel like I need to add anything else, please let me know and I will make the changes.  Thanks and lets bring it back!

I'd be in favor of removing the arena store and going back to what it used to be.

 

Winning a whole item feels alot better than winning some tokens to a store.

In many threads, across many years, I have argued against this.

 

I have said this is akin to fishermen, who, having exhausted the stocks of fish in their waters, argue for bigger nets, or ones with smaller holes so they can catch more fish to boost their catch.

 

All it does in the end is exhaust supply and kill off the stocks.

 

HCS, based in Elgin, should appreciate the analogy, I think.

 

If the fishermen get what they want, they fish well for a few seasons, then the well runs dry again. And they argue again for wider nets, always more so they can keep catching their fish. Even as the fish stocks die off, and in the end the fishermen destroy their own industry.

 

This has happened. Scotland has the largest fishing reserves in Europe. French and Spanish fishermen are desperate to come into our waters to fish, because their own waters are barren. Odd, that.

 

PvP players in this thread all think it would be a good idea to spread the ranges, widen the nets.

 

I'm sure it would be good for you, for a while.

 

I leave it to HCS to decide if they can risk the hit to their dwindling player reserves.

Arterial Strike would be one of the few buffs I would advocate sending out as an uber.

 

AS 1100 would make it actually 'better' to 2 (or more) hit a creature.

 

I know a lot of people never even consider anything other than '1-hit' which to me is a shame.

 

An uber AS might change some peoples minds and actually get them thinking and doing some maths etc?

 

Uber AS would definitely bring the 'interesting' back to efficient leveling. As people now work out gear that 60 hits instead of 1 hits.

 

Over 1000 rewards creativity, under 1000 (no matter how far), is merely a consolation prize for inefficiency (or bad luck).

I had an idea for the next Composing Update to include some new potion bottles that you can buy through upgrades.

 

Any player not satisfied with the default selection of potion bottles can purchase new bottles through either upgrades or loyalty rewards.  HCS would of course set the price but I'm thinking around 5 - 10 FSP each would be reasonable.

 

Another great option may be for some of the great artists we have in this game could actually come up with a few designs and there be a way to upload & share templates (with HCS Approval of course).

But I think the idea of "Current Stamina Potions" could work if done well enough, maybe as rewards for few Globals, PvP Seasons Events or HCS Gifts....Nothing close to inventable tho.

All those potions would is make you spend stamina now, to save the potion for the XP Event, or for emergency cases.


Making it, in effect, Reserve Stam. Again, not gonna happen I'm afraid.

So when you move around in the World Map, the focus is on the player, so whenever you move around the map shifts and moves with the player. Would it not be a great idea to let us choose in preference whether we want the focus to be on the player or the world. So when the focus is on the map, whenever we move the map would stay still. Tell me what you guys think. I find it really annoying that the map moves around whenever you make a move and it hurts my eyes lol kinda feels not right, idk

I prefer being able to see my player. But good job thinking creatively.

Zoom out, and you can see your player. What the OP is talking about is when you're zoomed out to see the whole map, and you center the map in your screen, but then as you move, the whole map moves around even though you can see the whole map. So it's silly to have the map move around you; when you're zoomed out, it can just sit still and quit messing with your eyes. :P

Thoughts? I tried take into account the buff levels at higher levels.. Being able to cast Smashing Hammer/high guard/golden shield or Armor Boost/Shield Wall is a huge advantage that needs to be recognized..

I'll not consider the 25-249 ladder because it is a mistake and should not exist.

But check all brackets and see how players are actually playing, 30ish? That os less than we had before the bracket expansion, but for multiple reasons, not only the levels and stamina needed, but because we are just spending stamina and time doing other things, last 3 months we had event after event, it's pretty normal to have some decrease there...Maybe now we will start to see 2~3 more players on each bracket, but not much anyway.

yes..ladder 25-250 should not exist - yet months later, many lost newbies (hundreds, i have been watching ), yet still nothing done - that shows total lack of regard for newer players by the cows..should have realized that was a bad ladder bracket before it even was made one..who made this bracket ? can they think ? did they try to think?

 

next..i will remind you next month about your activity..counted 28 today..used to be 37-39..so you have lost quite a few..and my guess would be that you will get your 2-3 more back in some brackets ( the same ones who were there before) not anyone new !!, and be back to the 37-39 as before..still love the one bracket that is controlled by one guild..that bracket should not count for activity either- NOBODY DOES ANYTHING IN THAT BRACKET TO DESERVE ANYTHING

 

the ladder system needs to be completely scraped- you are never ever ever going to get the activity you want the way the ladder is now

if rock-paper-scissors was a tournament ofcourse you will lose 50x time in row :) its all about possibilities...more people in tournament reduce your possibility to win at the end

I'm talking about just winning the first round. Lol. when you can't win one round no matter what setup you use, not sure how that is rock paper scissor. Feel more like rock paper grenade.

I like the arrow indicator idea.

 

I also like to see another indicator which informs the player whether or not the titan is within a 5-square radius of the player's current position.

 

With these additions, all the client browser needs to know is the general direction (up, down, left, right) and the proximity of the titan from the player (within your radius, outside your radius) and not the actual coordinates of the titan.

 

5 is an example and can be adjusted as necessary.
