#836775 Quick wear and Quick use

Posted by Lahona on 02 January 2014 - 09:35

That feature was part of the FSHelper, and "broke" when the new backpack interface was implemented, since it functions completely differently, and so the current FSHelper codes doesn't know what to do with it. From what I can remember, a lot of the FSHelper coders have retired/gone MIA, so they have not updated the helper code to work with the new actual game code.

As part of the right-click menu? Nice. :)

these are already in the right click menu -- it still reloads the whole profile page for each action.

What is needed (in my opinion) is a back pack like the guild store.  Accessible from any page and pops up as an overlay.

With the guild store you can wear the item without a page load, just the item taken removes itself from the display.

Add 'Drink' to the right click menu (of a guild store style back pack) and we have what we need.

We have also lost the helper feature that allowed us to quick extract (no page loads for each extraction & multiple extractions at a time) and the feature that allowed us to quick delete (without page loads) our components.

For anyone with more than 50 component slots this is now a major pain in the butt!  To delete more than one component on page 2 requires 2 page loads for each.

If anything can be done for quick extract and quick delete, then I'd also suggest we have an option to have our components fill the first slot each time (moving the rest along) so we always see the most recent components at the top & not last.

These are Fallen Sword Helper features, but we'll look at getting them added to the game :)

#836550 Buff Marketplace

Posted by insaner6 on 01 January 2014 - 18:29

but back to the point.

i still believe there is NO NEED for this buff market addition.
it works good as it is now.

you can find a buffer who is advertising himself on the fsbox or the shoutbox,
go at his profile,  see his prices,  even negotiate,   ask the buffs,   pay,  get the buffs over.

it even improves the comunication between players.  i've made many friends throw buffing
and even more,  i've been asked for advices and i helped ppl who really didnt know what
buffs they would need and explain what does everysingle buff does.

#835305 Excessive activation of Deflect during bounties

Posted by Kildek on 28 December 2013 - 14:50

Could Hoof or someone from HCS please chime in?

I just completed a bounty where the target had Deflect (175) active and I had Anti-Deflect (175) active and I had 8 attacks deflected on that bounty with Anti-Deflect activating just twice, does it not seem a tad excessive?

<snip>

This has been discussed a bunch of times already.

As the Mythbuster here: http://forums.hunted...&hl=mythbusters

Another one where Hoofmaster confirmed the code: http://forums.hunted...showtopic=58580

From those 2 threads the overall math is "ok".

Personally i think while the overall distribution of "randomness" matches what is expected,

the main problem is that the random number generator is not random enough, and things happen in streaks. I have seen this happen both with scavenging, extraction, crafting and Four Leaf skill kicking in. I remember that during a GvG Deflect kicked in so often, chance of that to happen was like 1:100.000. What needs fixing are these streaks.

#834880 Legendary Event. Dragon Attack!

Posted by BigGrim on 26 December 2013 - 18:06

Would have been nice if you followed the suggested stats and items for these ranges in your other thread!

I DID follow information from that thread. How about you not be cheeky, eh? I have a large number of suggestions from that thread that I'll be able to use going forward. Do try not to be dismissive of the work that's done for this game, ESPECIALLY over the holiday period where I'm still working to provide you with events.

Cheers.

#834848 Legendary Event. Dragon Attack!

Hi all,

Eight mighty Dragons have appeared, attacking the people of the Realms! They must be fought off!

Maladore (Dragon LE)

The Dragon Maladore is a filthy snake-like  creature who's stench is as dangerous as it's foul rotting toothed bite. Such a horrible beast is shunned by it's own, prouder kind, and in fact Maladore rarely flies upon his ragged wings, preferring to hunt his prey in the dirt and has no breath weapon besides extreme halitosis, which is actually pretty effective at stunning his next victim...

She is often sought by the brave(and the lonely) so that they may attempt to capture some of her breath for their own needs. However Volims uses her breath also as a weapon, causing he prey to fall for her and thus it makes them more than an easy meal...

Old Puntalis is an ancient Dragon, and possibly one of the first. He became gradually more and more disillusioned with the world around him and retreated into the depths of a dark and forgotten swamp where he remains to this day. Old Puntalis  has become one with the swamp over time and it is said that he controls the whole swamp around him. It is dangerous to seek him out, for if his jaws dont get you the trees will...

Ooch Mess is a Seadrake from the Heilan Island. Natives say his home was in the deepest part of the Whisky Sea, something the flame haired locals jokingly say attests to Ooch Mess angry temperament. Ooch Mess is known for his attacks on ships at sea and coastal raids where he doesn't just eat the people he also drinks their taverns and holds dry, before drunkenly swimming off into the depths.

#832235 New Content. 1876 - 1900.

Posted by Bleltch on 18 December 2013 - 13:10

There was a lot of feedback asking us to remove the common items as they cluttered up the backpack. We actioned that feedback.

Yes, but that was before composing came out. Now that common items have a use, (and are required for said use) they should be reintroduced. They dont have to be anything special, just something we can break down.

There was a lot of feedback asking us to remove the common items as they cluttered up the backpack. We actioned that feedback. We will not be putting common items back in. I MIGHT consider adding a single common item per update, using recycled art.

and picking the same ol' boring buffs that are covered in handfuls of different potions/chests limits the options of other players.. tis just getting old

To a point, I agree, but given that the 2 quests will be the current highest level xmas quests, I think it's fair to say that folk who will earn them enjoy levelling, and those that aren't up in this level won't really care ;)

I need two Quest Potions for the Christmas quests. One at 1700 and the other at 1900. Any suggestions as to what would be desirable for a one off?

How about an Arterial Strike level 2,000 potion?

(See if people remember how to 2 hit. lol)
