That may be so, but the 15K mark was used. How about those below that? Say a level 30 player with 1000 stamina that worked hard but only reached 13K kills? His effort may have been bigger than many above the 15k mark.
Not everybody can afford the highest global booster and a level 500 AM pot. 15K says nothing about teamwork.
pretty easy to make 15k by killing bunnies .. they count as 5

The rewards are great. Be happy. So HCS surprised with a bonus gift. Be happy for those that got it. They deserve it. Some had no chance at top 100 but defying most logic, went 3x the "minimum"I agree with you, I'm just saying HCS could give us a day heads up about the 15K reward, would be fair for everyone.
I think HCS should keep making a surprise bonus without telling us the criteria. Maybe next time all players that make the top 100 after the first day get a bonus. Or some other random criteria. Keep us on our toes. those that did the 5k minimum got exactly what was expected. Be happy for those that won the surprise gift. Feel sad for those with 14k kills.

How about we give this rule a test?
So many of you claim that if this rule were taken down, people would "manipulate" the arenas to boost their buddies to get some wins.
Some of you say that if it were taken down, the arena would flourish all those that kept getting blocked by the 25% rule in their guilds.
Let's test out these theories by taking down the rule. If the arena becomes "manipulated" and people are trying to boost their friends' wins, then put the rule back up. If the arena flourishes with new people coming back to the arena, let's keep it down.

Changing it to 50% would be the ideal situation imo.
"Leave it at 25% so people from every guild can have a chance!
"
.... sorry? This is absolutely ridiculous considering it takes over 24 hours for most arenas to be filled. Especially arenas < level 400. If these 'players from all guilds' were that bothered about the arena then they would make sure these arenas didn't take days to rotate. There's nothing left to monopolize lol. Tokens are next to worthless, considering the total joining cost of all arena entrants is approximately the value of the prize of the arena. Most of the arguments I've seen against changing the 25% rule to 50% are bull!

The cap was introduced because some arenas had far more lucrative prizes than others. Without the cap, a single guild could monopolize that prize and control the market by flooding that arena as soon as is opened. Cornering the market could be achieved with a minimum of expense and effort because only a small number of arenas were worth winning.
With the current token system, and if the cap were removed, the only way a guild could monopolize everything in the arena would be to flood ALL of the tournaments. No single tournament is worth more than any other, so the reason for the cap no longer applies.

If new items are added those individuals with 1m+ arena tokens yes they exist will sink the price to not being worth it instantly... Profit in the arena is FOREVER DEAD. Alot of people seem to be targetting hurting big guilds here from what i'm reading and that should not be. I should have EQUAL oppurtunity no matter what guild im in. Every guild should be viewed as EQUAL. Sure some guilds will naturally excel and some won't but when its all said and done it is not like other guild don't have the OPPURTUNITY to do the same. It takes alot of work to be successful afterall.

MS, with the token system in place, the cap is really obsolete. It's not like the old days where the gold prizes or what have you could be dominated by the right guild. With us being able to choose our prizes at our leisure, and with activity so low, more competition is needed, if nothing else to keep the arena moving so new tourneys can spawn. As it is now, it's stagnated, and I really don't know how serious arena players can tolerate that.

If upping the participation rate to 50% will increase the activity some, do it!! There are 2 reasons I am put off from the arena.
1. How long it takes before something starts.
2. Actually trying to enter and guild mates have already blocked me out.
There is no reason not to increase guild rates with the new token system... every item is always available to everyone. Arena is a constant sink, so even if you did try to rig something your losing more than your ever gaining...
