from recent experience i've noticed this happening, if anyone else can confirm please do:
anything that changes your character stats, i.e. equipment changes, buffs, ammo reloading
now (even though the change is displayed) has a delay of some 10 seconds before going into effect
so if, for example, you adjust your gear and buffs to hit a creature and attack right away, even though the numbers display correctly, the system is still using numbers from that 10 or so seconds ago
most noticeable because of this is ammo reloading - as a soldier, if my clip ran dry during combat, it would say "algore reloaded" (miss a turn) and i would get a new, full clip and keep firing - now i get a "combat unresolved" or am killed after multiple "algore reloaded" messages ...... the clips *are* subtracted from inventory, but because of the delay the stats from the ammo aren't registering right away
so 1 - i'll lose multiple clips from my inventory, gone
and 2 - all the missed turns gives the creature that random chance to get in a lucky hit
i don't know how this affects ammo from other classes

i'll create a quick squad and attack...and get the "invalid squad" notice, unless i wait some time to use it
so for now, until this is fixed or for whatever reason stops happening, be sure to wait a bit before attacking ... and watch your ammo

Since most quest items are rare, and the rest unique, with only a handful being common, a quick trip to the UFSG should tell you which realms to farm those items where there aren't any quest drops.... Or just autofrag, and quest items will merely be discarded.
Sorry, I can't see a reasonable need for this... just do your research.

Sorry the screenshot is a bit fuzzy, but it seems to me that with the helm of flaming mind being an RP epic and the Wazargs Helmet being better than the Tsukiyaomo helmet, the game is really lacking an epic helmet that is worth getting between levels 250-1200.
The UFSG shows the base stamina of the epics as followed (using levels rather than names)
250 - 100 stamina
550 - 75 stamina
900 - 150 stamina
1200 - 170 stamina
What I propose is simply raising the base stamina of the Tsukiyaomo helmet to a happy median of 125 stamina to encourage the gradual upgrading of epics and to create a better flow in the game itself and its market

I thought I would start this thread. I wanted to give all a heads up krita is a new open source app for doing graphics on. I have just started to explore this app and it is like photoshop in style.
Of course this makes sense since it is made by artists. Things you can do with krita is animation, painting, drawing, and more. I will state it is free to work with and is open source. I am not advertising this just wanted to know if others have opinions of this app. I am currently learning how to use this app and hope we can have a nice discussion of pros and cons and what you like about the app beside free and open source.

I figured that Super Elite, Legendary, and Crystalline frags don't get enough love during these events. I think we should have an event centered more around them, excluding Common, Unique, and Rare frags from the event. I was thinking the creature would be an undead/ghost Samurai, being part of the "Crimson Army" because of their blood stained armor. If you wanted to tie it to in game content it would be easy to attach it to the "Shadow Lord" that everything else seems to go with seems like that guy has his hand in everything but his pockets
And of course the weapon you would use would have to be a cursed Muramasa of sorts since it would only be fitting.
It would be only one type of creature that spawns.
You would need a weapon(Cursed) to kill them.
Drop rate could be adjusted to account for frag rarities
It can either drop 1 type of "Frag Stash" or 3 different types of "Frag stashes".
The main Tier rewards could still be Chests.
I'm sure i can add more to this and maybe i will, but i wanna get this up and out and maybe you all have more and hopefully better ideas or suggestions to help build and mold this into something better. But i just wanna put this out there and hopefully there are many that would appreciate an event along these lines.
