Care to explain why prices suddenly started to drop rapidly when CD came out and why TD came out then? If you can provide a valid argument i'll be forced to agree
. Do you fancy limiting game play? Why not put some limiters on your PvP or whatever you do. They somewhat did mess with it and you guys went crazy. You somehow got your way too. Teach me how you did it obsessive complaining? The less i'm ALLOWED to play this game the less i WANT to play. There was no CD for years. Cry babies wanted a free win button though and they got it. Epics are supposed to be challenging to acquire not free.
You already know the answer to this... Monopolies... If you have a monopoly, prices will stay artificially high as those with the power control the majority of the inventory. With the level playing field, there is competition and prices drop as folks in smaller guilds will sell the hard earned epics for a much lesser price. I personally benefitted in the old system as I can spend a ridiculous amount of time killing a titan but now even folks with limited time to play have a chance to capture their own epics. I think it's great for the game despite being not so great for me personally.

Plus to not removing cooldown - where has that campaign come from?
We'd go back to 1-3 guilds, with 1 dominating, taking all titan epics.
Combine that with a new idea to combine epics to make them more powerful and you are looking at a strong to near monopoly on the newly combined epics, if they happened.
I don't see that as better than how it is now.
And don't nerf titan doubler. Just never extend it!

Yes it has accelerated a process that was happening already - the saturation of the epic market, but that, to me, speaks to low player population more than anything else, and is inevitable if the game does not expand again.
Nerfing titan doubler will also re-concentrate the ability to harvest titan epics back into the hands of the strongest/biggest titan hunting guilds.
Combining epics? That will work in the short term, and some guilds that have stockpiles will be very happy to be the first ones out with enhanced epics. The novelty will wear off, as it does for all epics, and we are left with the population problem. Also - how much better does better have to be to make people go for it?
And what will these enhanced epics do to the arena? First ones in with these gets a WIN button? Depends if arena wins are worth the investment currently, I suppose.

It takes me weeks to accumulate enough for 10%prestige. have to agree with ep :/ not on his price but definitely a lot more than 5 tokens. If you decide to go with that price along with that you killed a ton of bounties posted from leveler getting prestige make it cost a bit so it goes up in ah with decent price that makes us think twice
What do you think would be a better price? I was basing it on the amount of times you would have to rank first in your band in the ladder.
Maybe a 60 minute version for 10 tokens, and a 120 minute version for 15?

Personally, I'd love to have seen the new bounty board stay in place, with a few minor changes. Here's my 2 cents and what I'd like to see:
- Commit to either the new or old bounty board interface 100% .. in it's current half-baked form, you must accept the bounty from the 'Bounty Hunt' screen, but attack from the 'Fight Player' screen. If accepting multiple bounties, you have to keep tabbing and find your desired target from a drop down list. This is annoying and not at all user-friendly.
- Bring back the 1 ticket per attack cost
- Keep hunter XP loss
- Keep 10 hit bounties
- Keep 10-100 stamina choice, with only 100 stams counting toward smasher medal, and 10 stamina per bounty award point
- Bring back the 10 hits-to-clear, regardless of if the hunter uses 10 or 100 stamina attacks
- Allow players to post their own bounties from ladder and normal PvP attacks
- Keep allowing conserve to activate in bounty attacks
- Bring back automated bounties..on a slightly smaller scale and find some middle ground, maybe apply it to normal PvP (gold theft) at the rate of say.. 1 bounty for every 400k gold stolen (?) and yes.. I'm aware this would mean you could be bountied twice for one attack
- Keep the ability to bounty the bounty hunter.. OR have bounty attacks count toward automated bounties (based upon gold stolen)

Why does everything in the game have to be about PROFIT ?
It's not titan doubler that's caused the crash in lower-level epics, it's the sheer amount of them in-game compared to the diminishing player base that actually want them.
But, then again, older epics are ALWAYS going to crash in price because we, as p(L)ayers always demand bigger and better - and thus render the lower level items useless (mostly) to anyone other than those players who can't yet use better ones or use them for arena.

The Tyranny medal was for being ranked in Titan League before the update, so basically 100 players have 1 tick of the medal for being ranked within the Titan League.
so now we have to use all the stam and pots ,ecc, to gain that medal, even if we paticipate in a real season?
At least we deserve that medal like all others 100 before from the test

With all due respect Hoof if players who ended in titan league got the ticks for their medals I believe the 25 top crystal players should get theirs as wells (cos they would be promoted to titan league - and this was the moment players got their first ticks for that medal).
Question is: should under this concept the lowest ranked titan league players get their medal since they would have been moved back to crystal? Or even better would not it be more fair to award the medal ticks to the top crystal players instead of the removed 25 last titan players? Just feed for thought.

No - I can understand that. I appreciate you guys picking threads to go through, but it would be nice to get a compilation of the GVG improvements that have been made over the past two years time, which really had the chance to improve and revive GVG as GVG. Not as RP farming. Can we have some HCS presence on the thread to go through discussions regarding items, and see what your thoughts are?
