One more comment on this topic I wanted to make was the allocation of Prestige. Prestige has always needed to be relative to stam usage, like leveling. It isn't and therefore opens the game up to trading abuse. 10 stam attacks need to earn 1 prestige, while 100 stam should equal 10. It's that simple. To stay consistent 100 stams on BB should earn 10 as well. Keep the 3 day cool down, but the trading abuse hurts the integrity of the game. Again, I post these ideas without any expectation that they will even be considered but I like to dispense my logical experience from over a decade of playing.

So for those of you paying attention, I am going to be disabling a bunch of default FSH functions in the next build due for release imminently.

  • statBarLinks - changes the statbar links to allow middle button clicks
  • staminaCalculator - displays when you will reach max stamina thru stamina gain
  • levelUpCalculator - displays when you will reach your next level thru XP gain
  • resizeQuickBuff - makes the quick buff window a bit bigger
  • joinAllLink - join all groups notification
  • pageTwoLinks - makes links to page 2 of each archive on the news page
  • trackLadderReset - tracks ladder resets from logs and news articles
  • addUfsgLinks - adds UFSG links to news articles
  • addServerNode - adds clickable online players and server node to top stats
  • addScoutTowerLink - adds a Scout Tower link to the Spoils of War info box
  • storeLastScavPage - remember last used scavenging settings
  • Additional links inserted into the left hand menu
    • Recipe Manager
    • Medal Guide
    • Inventory Manager
    • Buff Log
    • Combat Log
    • Creature Log
    • Quick Links
    • AH Quick Search
    • Online Players
    • Find Other
    • Find Buffs
    • Guild Inventory
    • New Guild Log
    • Top 250 Players

If you want to enable any of these you can find new settings available in preferences.

Since we have a lot of big potions, Distill, Buff Enhancer and such going on, would be possible to change how the buffs at the player profile are displayed (maybe World Map as well) for something showing the level of the buff?

 

It's really hard to scroll over all the buffs, even worst on mobile, such a pain.

Just put something like ( lvl 192 ) between the buff image and the time left, I tried to make an image to display what I'm trying to say but it isn't great lol

Can you change this so the total XP loss remaining is in the screen where you take the bounty? Don’t round it on that screen.

Apparently the app doesn't like this global.  DoctorCool noticed that when he entered a spot with a Bunny on the action list that the app crashed, so I went traveling to see...

 

As soon as I entered a space where a Global appeared, the same happened to me, with this result:

Also, the app doesn't recognize Burning Abyss (level 1) or (Level 2) as valid realms.

Come on Pardoux, not like we expected there to be, lol.

 

In case the chuckles weren't heard. I would also say this:

 

1) There wasn't last year either (can't remember 2 years ago).

 

2) Best thing about this event has always been for me the GE reward after we hit ruby (assmuning we do).

 

3) Seasonal titans are out again.

 

4) Legendaries out again. 

 

5) This is the really debatable one, but IM(not so)HO I see the lack of new content and quests as a huge positive. 

 

Why? Because a lot of us have been clamoring for the story quests to come back. This is proof that nothing new is needed to bring them back. Grant it, they made the effort with Quango.

 

But even a lot of us oldies didn't have the pleasure of doing those and if new blood is really going to be infused with the app... then, yeah. Stuff already on hand to provide some extra entertainment? See zero downside to that. Come on June... bring it back. ,oP

Rather than posting each hit I made during the 2XP event I just kept a running total.  Gold lost - 91,036,973.  Gold stolen - 68,331,747.  Single largest hit was xxxxx lost 26402877 gold of which Yotekiller stole 19802158 gold.

Though I wonder how many are going to start crying over lack of notice. Or that they hunted a few days ago. Personally I like the fact that you have surprised us with something. Why should anyone have ample warning.

#999949 FSH 15.24.2 Build - Lazy Loading

Hi all

 

So it's been nearly 2 years since the last major update. In that time we have
had 154 builds. I'd say that is pretty successful. The new major version that
has just been released takes that architecture to the next level.

 

I've called it Lazy Loading because the idea behind it is to only load code as
we need it. I've removed all the up front dependencies. The main FSH script,
that Tampermonkey runs, loads the calfSystem and then the calfSystem loads
everything else. localforage has been retired and we have idb-keyval within the
calfSystem instead. DataTables is only loaded when needed instead of every page
load. The down side to this is that the CSS is now loaded later, the calfSystem
has to wait for the CSS to be loaded otherwise you would see a FOUC (Flash Of
Unstyled Content). I've tried to mitigate this by starting FSH earlier in the
page load process.

 

The plan for the future of this build includes breaking up the calfSystem into
smaller pieces and only loading the parts that we actually need instead of the
whole thing every page load as we do now. All that code has to be loaded,
parsed and compiled on every page load. The same thing will happen to the CSS
although I haven't decided how best to do that yet. It may be that the CSS will
be embedded into the javascript instead of an external file. I'm working on
replacing DataTables entirely with native alternatives.

 

So hopefully you won't notice any changes immediately, that's a "Good Thing®".
Those of you on slower connections and mobile devices will hopefully see some
improvements in future. Don't hesitate to get in touch with any feedback.
