Nope, account bound is great. Character bound is stupid.

 

Relics, prestige, artisan etc. should ALL be account wide too. Daily/Weekly quests should be ONE per account not one per character.

 

Once a player has reached max level on one character, we should do everything possible to make them stick around.... making it easier and faster to gear up and level up an alt is common sense for player retention.

We've had some requests for our map images to be made available for use in the Eldevin Wiki and fan websites etc. We've put together this .rar file containing all the map images, hopefully some of you will find it useful :D

Nerf everything so there's no differential between classes, lets face it, anyone that calls for nerfs don't call for their own class to be nerfed, only call for other classes to be, maybe if they don't like their class they should respec? :D

I have heard through the grapevine that sins will be getting a nerf again.

 

Firstly, I dont know why.

 

Their single target DPS is high like it should be.

They are now encourage into med armor like they should

Therefore they are more squishy like they should be

Their AoE is still lacking compared to AoE classes like it should be

 

I know some (one vocally) is concerned about sins being OP. But playing in actual PvP matches, with actual PvPers shows this is not the case.

 

I am on vacation at the moment for 2 weeks so wont be around to campaign against any nerf if its coming soon. Please let people play with classes and experiment before you make a class unplayable again....

I still disagree with this.

 

Having fusion powder as a bound material makes players who wants to create gems go out and grind for it themselves.

 

What this will happen if this is kept how it is, is that higher tier gems will be worth much more due to the fact they take a substantial amount of fusion powder to create.

 

If fusion powder is unbound it will lower the price of gems, add to the pay2win aspect of the game allowing people to now purchase powder/gems at a cheaper rate.

                  Hello All,

 

 

 

                        I have an idea for the game that can help high level players pertaining to fusing gems. As you may know from my perspective, Fusion Powder is in high demand from high level players in game. Most of these players have several gems to fuse, but no Fusion Powder to combine them with. When I realized how much FP was in demand i spoke to PhurieDae about my idea of the Fusion Powder Daily Quests. This quest can take place in both Trappers Atoll or in a Random Map. The quest allows the chance to acquire up to 75 Fusion Powder just like the Token Daily Quest. Please consider this idea and give me feedback.

 

 

 

 

         Heads Up, a friend of mine talked me into staying in game for a few more days to see how it goes. Thanks to her, she'll sort of mentor me through the few days so i actually have someone to talk to.

I think it's premature to say what happens after cap.  Cap has not yet been implemented.  I imagine after 50 we'll see raid dungeons (*crosses fingers* with more complex mechanics).  Once we have guilds perhaps guild wars.  More PvP may be on the horizon.  Perhaps more bosses.  A bigger variety of loot allowing more customization.  New talents may be added.

 

The point is, it's very hard to judge endgame until we actually see it.  I just hope we see it before too many people become disillusioned.

 

BTW, as a subscriber I get enough benefits, especially since supporting a small indie company is part of my reason.  Raising or lifting the gold cap will have no influence on my decision when renewal comes up.  But I do understand why the current cap is a problem.

Should start off by saying that these are just my thoughts of ways to better balance the current state of the game and possible future. 

1) lvl 50 skills for future content should be looked at in regards to prophets,templars,and mages.
*-*Fulmination- is a instant moderate(not high damage) skill that is cast on self and only applied damage to things within 4 yards of yourself..ok so we have all tried using erupt which is decent DOT but that has a 12 yard reach and about the same damage(almost no one uses engulf) because of the reason that you can already kill a mob within the wasted time of using that skill and its not really worth being used. Also with that range,you would basically have to stand in the center of a mob to be able to effectively hit everything we aren't warriors or templars that would not be worth using just to die and maybe not kill anything in the process.
*-*Repent-instant cast that reduces all incoming damage by 25% and stops threat for the lasting duration.
Prophets do not tank in any actual scenario other then pvp for most part,so this really is a useless ability for any pve usage except soloing instances which is slim in this game and I agree with the group requirements to receive the best ingame items. Maybe if this skill could be casted on others? or even buffed a bit like maybe...lets say 40% due to redemption and specing into other things from threat prevention it makes repent a very useless skill not worth the 1k gold to buy it
*-* glaciate-You target someone of your team you cast glaciate on them it will stun them for 4 seconds not allowing them to do anything but sit there while being invulnerable and reducing their current threat by 20% of its current total. Again another ability not worth using due to other talents,empathy alone makes this skill not worth using as you can take their effectiveness by 20% while still allowing them to attack so no loss of dps.

Also Before I post this next part I would like to point out that I too have a warrior character that is very close to finished, so no one can say I'm being greedy or selfish asking for another class to be nerfed,this effects my main character directly.

2)The warrior population are dominating this game,you can ignore all challenging aspects of this game simply by becoming a warrior and just grinding,fastest leveling in the game,fastest gold farming,strongest DPS and AOE farming. I have NO problem with the fact that warriors are the main AOE class,this is how it was intended I respect that,but with how this game is right now it seems the only good mobs are melee based ones and melee based mobs are overflooding this game until you hit lvl 44= too late. There needs to be more variety and differences so all classes can enjoy the challenging goals of making gold. Right now you have some mage based mobs,not even mages or prophets can effectively farm these mobs even if you have 50+% mage defense these mobs will crush you like no other same with ranged mobs,yet a mage can throw all melee gems on and grind the equal in melee based mobs which i find to be a bit odd but makes sense due to mage based figures in the game supposed to be hitting high amounts,just not as fast as they are currently. NO,I am not asking to make the game easier,In fact I am asking the opposite,Throw more mage or range based mobs into this game or even throw mobs together mixed of all 3 types at once,don't make the majority melee based because how it is right now is this,be a assassin or warrior throw all onyx's in and you will dominate,this is also the reason why onyx's cost soo much is because they are tbh the only real effective defense gem in this game right now (aside from block rating which i don't view as a defensive based gem).

Also,these new lvl 44 potions implemented into the game,Very much like them and feel they greatly bring some more balance to the game. Prophets and templars needed them more then anything else if I had a billion thumbs They would be in the air right now for you all at HCS. 

My final thought is regarding the fabled set for rangers,I see a lot of rangers complaining about not seeing a crossbow in this set and I agree normal bows are no where near as good as crossbows,but Instead how about making a crossbow for the set as a option for set bonus BUT making it so the normal bow has a additonal gem slot. Giving the rangers a choice between a bow with higher base damage with a extra slot or a crossbow with its speed and general effectiveness of a fabled crossbow. so the bow gets 2-3 gem slots and the crossbow only gets one.

Shadowcaster is doable with buffs/potions, but you need to pick which ones.  He only heals from those that increase %hp (intensify spirit), and increase %hp/second (snowfall, etc).  Still need to choose which buffs you use though, we did full buff, and he pretty much killed the tank because of warrior buff + 10% attack power potion.  In general, those that do not increase his stats by a % is safe to use - all types of food, fleetfoot, haste, focused, enlighten; along with defensive/offensive stance, some of the more specific buffs like torrent and concealed, are all ok, and have to test for others more.  He also steals the buffs from templars/warriors more often, like it only steals my thrill of the hunt whenever he comes close to me, so it might also be based on proximity or threat.
