Agreed that is precisely the problem it no longer becomes pvp it is PvG and they get to decide who wins essentially, I have seen it occur far to often.
While I can understand this in theory, it hasn't rang true in reality. At least not in my experience.
If I'm the only one against 5 in 1 guild, I should have the advantage. I can hit 5 people every hour if I choose to be online. Rarely are more than 2 of those players going to be on at once. The single player can rack up near unlimited points, and the 5 guildmates can't do a thing about it.
Last post on this ladder topic I promise. While you might, and I say might, win the ladder against 5 from the same guild it's probably going to be a pyrrhic victory. Yes, you have the capability of hitting each of them once every hour and gaining points and costing them XP, they on the other hand have the opportunity to hit you 5 times each hour and given the propensity for 100 stams your XP loss can be devastating until the ladder reset. In addition consider the fact that it's just you on the ladder making sure you are buffed while the 5 can coordinate in ensuring that each of them remains fully buffed against your attacks. While you again might win that ladder cycle against the 5, it's not a fight you can stay in for long as a prolonged stay just might find you soon participating in the next ladder below the one you started in. As I stated in prior posts keep the medals they were earned as well as the tokens, but the tokens should stay in the venue they were earned in and not migrate to a new PvP context. Thanks all for your indulgence any further posts in this thread will solely be on the Composing Update which I feel is an outstanding update.
