Great post Chazz, layman's guide, much needed as it is a template for all the combat in game.  Also like the idea of dummy characters to test combat, perhaps in a training ground format rather than a tutorial.  Guilds catering for new players should reference this in their forums.

Valid point - release higher level creatures into existing realms.  My previous point stands, make EoC barely reachable rather than changing game mechanics.  Eliminate the need for delevelling and keep the game flowing in the simplest way possible.

 

The game needs some life breathing into it.

Don't know if it's already been said & I'm not reading all the posts to find out.

 

In my opinion there is nothing wrong or exploitative to delevelling and relevelling by whatever means possible within the confines of the game mechanics.

 

Maybe I don't understand things too well but release more content and quicker and remove the 'necessity' for delevelling.  Bring back the bounty board for genuine bounties and make EOC barely reachable again.
