#814481 Next Roadmap...

I would like to see an fsp bank introduced.  That way you couldnt accidentally spend fsp as you would be able to carry a small amount of fsp on hand and would need to withdraw it from the bank when you were wanting to spend it.

I have heard many stories of how people have thrown away their fsp on junk items either by misclicking at the auction house or accepting a secure trade that they thought was for gold but was really fsp.

While most of the community is basically good and returns fsp for obvious errors there are those few bad apples out there that we need to be saved from.

In my own case I accepted a trade for some junk items which were worth 550 gold but which the seller had sent at 550 fsp.  My only excuse was that it was during an event, I was busy hunting at the time and inventing and my buffs were running out and my internet that day was extremely laggy.  In my haste and not anticipating that this would ever happen i accepted the trade and didnt realise until my fsp disappeared what had actually happened.  I contacted the seller within 8 mins of the trade but he did not respond to me for more than an hour and not until i got his guild leaders involved, even though he was online the whole time.  That player returned about one fifth of the fsp to me at the time and said he had spent the rest on upgrades but after investigation it was revealed that he was lying and the fsp was eventually returned to me.

I have heard of many other horror stories such as this and if we had an fsp bank in place we could store our fsp in the bank without fearing the risk of making such terrible mistakes.  The bank should have no limits on what you can deposit or withdraw.

Can we please consider introducing this?

Guild visitor status

Give guilds the ability to invite non-guild-members to join a guild's chat room.

Personally I think this would do a lot to improve the sense of community within the game. It would also be good for helping people committed to small guilds to get more involved in the FS community. Global chat does this to some extent, but is far more transient.

  2. this next suggestion can help players with huge BPs... make BP scrolling like the ones in guild BPs wherein you dont have to refresh the page to get to another page... Creating folders can be useless if items under that folder have 100+ items or so lol... It can be a relief to browse them with ease with it :)

well here are some of my suggestions:

  1. Secure Trade should have an item to item exchange (currently there's only item to gold or fsp) so there will be no room for scams if you're doing trades to a stranger :) Its pretty useful when you are looking for a genuine serious client out there without risking anything... Trusting someone can be a deathtrap occasionally if not careful...

"You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day"

Well then, I guess I cant "like" all of the good ideas! lol.. Maybe that should be a change too? (At least for the rest of the week.)

I dont think its worth HCS's time to spend time coding something that is already in FSHelper.

1) not everyone uses/can use helper.

2) changes like this will improve game performance, by reducing bandwidth used, server calls and DB calls and general load, due to the inefficient way FSHelper works.

If changes like this were implemented many players would see an increase in response times. Quicker response times and quicker page loads would mean players spending more time on line.

I forgot to include something in my earlier post! I would love to also see an instant guild chat like the world chat. Its rediculous that we have to refresh the page all the time. We see you guys are already skilled enough to implement one into the world, could we get one in each guild? I cant imagine people NOT wanting this, and it would also make FS seem up to date even more.

#813635 Update v2.32

Posted by Hoofmaster on 27 September 2013 - 17:36

In this latest game update we have implemented footprints on the new map. You can toggle footprints via the new button at the bottom right of the map.

We've also added a new option to the 'Preferences' page which lets you auto break down items into Fragments that would normally be discarded with the Auto Discard preferences.

Note we'll be improving Composing further next week by making it possible to send Composed Potions that are tagged to your guildmates. We'll also be posting up a list of potential improvements to game next week with a poll to determine the order that we implement them in!

Have a great weekend everyone!

#813348 Should higher level creatures drop common items now that composing has been r...

We've already said, repeadedly, we will not be adding Commons back at the high levels. There are thousands of Commons in the game. Go hunt those or buy them from lower players to help them out. Our stance has not changed.

(should have made the vote public, to see how many of the 'no' voters are low levels, those that currently profit from the higher levels)

Why? So you could have a go at them? I see no problem with low levels having something they can sell to high levels instead of the other way round.

goes both ways..

#813134 Composing and potential Upgrades

Posted by BigGrim on 25 September 2013 - 08:48

For those of you complaining about not using enough LE/SE shards at the beginning? It's because it is the BEGINNING! New players who can compose as they level will not have huge reserves of LE/SE gear. So it would lock them out of composing. Remember, this has to be open to all. As players spent more time in game, composing as they go, they'll gain LE/SE items through buying, trading or hunting them. And Composing will get to a place where they'll need those shards.

This is not gonna give you super potions from the very outset, nor should it. It is something that you work at.
