Great posts by Pardoux and Prop. I think more people appreciate it than those who don't. :)

 

On a selfish side note, it's great to have an SE set in my range. One I can use to. Now all I have to do is wait until it's cheap. :)

Hey all.

First up, two reminders. One, please stay civil and don't fall into flame baiting. Two, Titan Cooldown is staying. Don't open that one up again please.

NoW! Regarding the ideas, I do think some ought to be done. Question is definately what. A Titan should not be sitting around for months. Regenerating health? Does not solve the issue. Decaying health? Does not stop the Secure and leave.

The ruthless side of me thinks that if a Titan ain't dead within one to two weeks of it's spawn, it should despawn, allocating zero TKP to anyone. You want the TKP? Destroy the Titan. Not sure I could see it happening but that's what I'd personally like to see.

If you secure, send out an underling to clean up after  you. That would help with removing the titan too. Don't want  to do that, then wait. It's so very simple.

The problem still remains on most titans cleaning TKP simply isn't worth it. You would have to pay someone to clean it and at that point mine as well not even participate at all and that again is not healthy.

 

Then the supply of that item ceases to flow into the game - isn't that a positive in your book, 'cos eventually, a lot will end up in inactive BP's, thus rendering others with active players, more valuable ?

 

I think you're solving (or attempting to solve) a problem that doesn't even exist ...

You can 1) Secure and wait or 2) Finish the Titan off. 

 

See no need for change.

PS. Just so this doesn't get too misconstrued. Those not wanting to go for anything but the secure. That's theIr decision. They want to wait 3 months. Their decision.

           im sure bg will read this on monday and post something ,but untill then we can debate about it and see if we can come up with an agreeable solution that he can read and go yes or no on

 

 if you read the 1st post it wasnt bg that started the chat in global he just made a comment,so i decided to start a thread in here

 

 

 but instead typing about who did what and where it was done lets get to sloving titan puzzle ,if it needs solving at all ?

 

I don't think there's anything TO solve - it's been suggested before that secured titans, if not killed, gradually heal over a period of time, removing the guilds secure (heck, I suggested it...) but nothing came of it.

 

So, if a titan sits there for months without being cleaned up, so be it - it just means that another one of that kind won't spawn until it IS killed - and thus lowers the supply of said drop.

Judging from your medal i assume you haven't partook in the activity much. 51% is very challenging against the right competition. The issue remains how to bring that competition back. Messing with secure for sure will kill TH in general no questions asked. It's hard enough to justify doing 51% for a measly 10 fsps for some items.

 

What makes seasonals so competitive is because the limited time frame. I do believe the spawn rate in seasonals is too high but that's besides the point. How can we replicate this for regular titans. I have a suggestion to this aswell.

 

 

Step 4: Obviously the most controversial one and is optional but i think it would aid overall. Discontinue cool down as it's negatively effecting TH. There are a limited number of TH to begin with making them wait a week before they can hunt again doesn't make sense to me. Because they are on CD titans just sit there unkilled and uncontested. I can see a need for cooldown with 1000+ hunters but let's be real the number is in the double digits if that now.

 

Not that we all needed a glimpse into your true colours but hey let's throw the gripe out there, you dislike being on titan cool down and your numerous reasons as to why never serve any logic beyond having a monopoly for the guild you inherited.

 

One of the big reasons this game is a success for and after all these years is because of it's Organic Nature, it's never perfect but what world is?

 

Admins have thought long and hard concerning the restrictions that they have put in place and for what? Yes, to make the game playable for the playerbase not succumbing to some irrelevant bods idealistic irrational rants.

 

As it stands I don't believe any decay or heal time should be placed upon the titan system, they are what they are, go hunt the beasts for secure or tkp, if it sits after a secure then go finish the beast off and stop wasting everyones time whinging that no cleaners are doing the job for you.

Black Glades (Ridge) (Minimum Level: 715).

 

Was just killed in the SE logs.

 

And there was a drop. So we know it's a 3 piece set consisting of armor, helmet and gloves with high armor and secondary attack.
