I will have to do without soon. Need to lose more levelsI'll be damned then... LOL...Although i wouldn't consider attacking players or defending with composing "PvP"... It's alot different and better without

That's fine then. But I'm the 5th level 60 composer you are talking to and I disagree with the other 4. Even at 4K gold legendary frag, I will buy them all. Send ST'swhy do you think I do not compose? when I need them I buy them cheap instead of wasting stamina and FSPS to get to level 60
I do not care if more or less players join these events, it is their choice and I do not care how much composers sell their potions for, it is their potions and it is their right to sell at the price they want, I only wanted to show how much composing potions really cost a level 60 composer (info I got from the 4 level 60 composers)

Not sure where your 4 composers you talked to got their info. 6k gold to make the pot. 10 commons, 6 rare, 3 uniques and 1 legendary. If you can get those 20 frags for 4K gold, I will buy them all day long. You are also not considering how much gold and common frags were used including the time to get to level 60 as well but even ignoring that, it's an economy driven market. Everything new in FS starts "over priced" and time will make the price go down. So traveling composers used to charge that much but I didn't when I did it. I think that's the high end price and it will go down. Anyway, if the point is to get more people into composing, eliminate the tagging option period. I say leave it be. Prices will continue to tumble. Interest in these events will wane. But will still be there as I always qualify as I need legendaries the mostyou misunderstood, the composers I talked to said it costs them only 10k gold, the traveling composers sell for 1.5 FSP (300k gold)

I think it's a lost cause...for some reason people are arguing those high level stat padding skills are nessesary. Still haven't quite understood their logic? It won't change level pace whatsoever for anyone if it was balanced accordingly it would just fix pvp/champ elite le se Titan hunting and potentially other aspects I'm neglecting to bring up.
My argument is more about fairness then necessity. You want to weaken players below you. You readily admit it will cost more for those players (what was it? 20-25 fsp?) to hunt with equivalent skills via the "generic" way? Balance is great! If it's done fairly. You are not interested in having this applied from this point forward. You want it retroactive so other players below you have more of a struggle or pay more. Wow... those first 2,800 levels were way too easy.. lets make it harder for everyone else so they have more fun... me? oh don't worry about levels going forward, the most important thing is to fix the 2,800 behind me.
Do a poll. I'm sure it will be as wildly popular as your titan CD idea.
lost cause indeed...
out of curiosity: When is the last time anyone NEEDED Counter attack to "1-hit"?
I needed it 2 days ago

Well I hope HCS ignores this or apply changes going forward and not retroactive. Most folks clamoring for this are already at EOC or not interested in leveling.
I thoroughly enjoyed leveling and am going to miss it ;-( I know many of my lower level friends are thrilled to gain levels daily and I feel badly for them that people want to slow them down. I like the challenge ideas posted by some but they mostly got ignored.
I also enjoyed that fact that folks are so upset about the OP pots yet they are totally used by themselves. If anything, it's way more fair to give it to the little guys. How harmful is it to give the royal chest to a player with 1-2k max stam? lol.
Anyway, kinda going in circles with the same players repeating the same thing. As Pard recommended, probably better to lock this thread as it has gone off the rails.

There is no upside for HCS to do this. What they will get is people complaining about various things:
1. Why isn't xxx on the list?
2. They are not meeting the target dates!
3. yyy idea is stupid
4. Zzz should be changed
5. Why isn't HCS responding to my comments about suggestion aaa!?
6. HCS's direction is wrong
7. only hoof's opinions matter
8. Etc
What is the upside for them to do this?

Just you. What's "alarming" is the "apparent" lack of info from their Guild leaders about how to deal with it if they are actually, for some reason I fail to fathom, concerned about it. I'm still wondering why Natalie isn't buffed with Honor, but hey... she didn't want advice.
I guess it is just me. Just sad to see more players leave the game. My conclusions are purely based on the FSBox postings and PMing the said quitters. ![]()

I liked the post (awhile back actually) because it's value-added. But just as I was skeptical about talking about my farming profits because of costs involved... well, when I farm I also blow through 4k to 6k stam during about three hours. My assumption is that it would be even less "profitable" with only 2k stam. And that said, I noticed that RB has way less than that and was only level 100ish so it wasn't "transferrable" in terms of frags. Is this getting too complicated to follow?
Anyway, with Titan Hunting (TH) it's pretty much the same deal. Forget about the fact that TH is considered to be a Guild activity (so like GvG, it doesn't depend only on you), I just wanted to point out that yotwehc is giving a reference that is not strictly based on a 2k stam figure. And yot, you could correct me if I'm wrong, but how many FSP would you have made if you had "only" spent 2k stam? Does that make sense?
It's not at all a shot at yotwehc as I think the point is well made: TH "can" be one of the most "profitable" game aspects. It's just that there are numerous factors to take into account.
I actually gave you the number I made had I only used 2k stam... between 133 to 666 fsp.
I track every single one of my titan hunts (and sales). So here is an example of one where I used a bit over 2k stam:
12/31 snowman. I used 2,164 stam (including self buffing stam but I did use high level conserve and LF pots). I got 1,744 tkp and I lucked out and got 1st place netting me a bonus 1,744 tkp. So I earned a total of 3,488... that's worth over 1/2 a snowball. snowball can probably sell easily for 500 fsp so the 2k stam nets approximately 250 fsp. If I didn't place in the top 5, I would still gain 1/4 of a snowball which is approximately 125 fsp.

I think it's funny that everyone here thought about hunting.
Bounty board: 2,000 stam divided by 100 (and ignoring conserve activation) might get you 20 FSP.
PvP: No way to really know as it's target dependent, but 20 well placed 100 stams could be very profitable in FSP terms.
Don't forget titan hunting... During the seasonals, I netted 1 fsp per 3-15 stam used. so to use your example of 2,000 stam, I earned 133 to 666 fsp for that stam investment. Even the current non-seasonal titans can easily net well more then 20 fsp on secures.
