This suggestion is a summary of a chat on EU server we had yesterday:

 

If there are bots found, instead of banning them flag them as free to hunt&kill (maybe with some small award for successful "clean-up" - Wanted board with a quest to hunt down criminal XY). That way the community will get some free additional content and the bot gets the lesson learnt (or ends up with naked ass due to durability penalties on equipment).

A lot of stuff I like, but a few issues:

 

WASD movement does not combine well with mouse panning.  When moving normally (click-to-move), hold-right-button panning of the POV is smooth and workably slow.   But if you are moving forward with the "W" key, then any attempt to pan causes the world to spin around you, which is useless.  The pan speed should be the same in all cases.

 

You can't exit full-screen mode after you have logged out.   You have to log back in, enter the game, go into options, and turn it off.   In general, the game needs an exit button on the login and/or character selection screen(s).  The exit button should pop-down full-screen (if set) and close the browser window.

 

The new craft-all and mine-to-completion features need polish.  They both trigger error messages when they finish.  These messages should be suppressed for this special case.

 

Otherwise, it's looking good.

Hey there, I believe this was reported before, but it was reported in semi-broken English so I'm reporting it again after some further testing.

 

The Assassin Tree talent, Blood Siphon(5-point talent) may not be working as intended. Here are my findings:

 

-Blood Siphon works correctly with all ticks of Rupture.

 

-Blood Siphon works correctly with the first stack of Lacerate. However, Blood Siphon will only provide health equivalent to the calculated percentage amount of one stack of Lacerate, even if further stacks are applied. (Thus, a full five-stack Lacerate will do correct damage, but when Blood Siphon procs it will heal you as though you only had one stack applied.)

 

-Blood Siphon does not work with Sear ticks.

-Blood Siphon does not work with Lethal Concoction ticks.

-Blood Siphon does not work with the 'Trapped' ticks of Frozen Spires, even though they were changed to a Bleed effect in a previous patch.

-Blood Siphon does not appear to work with other pseudo-bleed effects such as Envenom or Boiling Blood. This may require further testing.

 

-The Blood Siphon 'heal' is not actually a heal. It is a health restore effect similar to Snowfall & etc. However, the tooltip on the talent still reads as a 'heals you for x%'. It should say 'restores health equivalent to x%'.

 

I have no idea what the original intent of this talent was and how it was originally supposed to synergize with skills, but currently the synergy seems a little bit TOO low for the point investment, which is what leads me to believe parts of this talent are bugged.

 

P.S. Yes, I totally made use of my free respec before the patch to test this out. FOR SCIENCE!

Ok, so anyone that has tried a little pvp knows how easy it is to form a pre group and own a bunch of random players who join the queue solo. It is not a challenge, it is too easy and really just laughable  :D

 

The first couple of times, yeah it was fun to just smash everyone with little to no risk of ever getting killed. Now I actually feel bad and kinda guilty killing randoms when I'm in a pre made strong group. I have also tried queueing solo and team members left after being killed! leaving us as a 3 man and 2 man on both occasions.

 

Lets make pvp more challenging, seperate groups from solo. These groups want a challenge (I think?) and currently it is not challenging, so how about......

 

If you enter a pre made group of 5 you can now only face another pre made group of 5, or maybe we could even set the minimum at 4? so 4 man group could face a 4/5 man group, just to give the flexibility and challenge.

 

If you enter solo, you will now be mixed at random onto the 2 groups with 9 other players who entered solo.

 

That is my suggestion  :)

For RP purposes, at least.  You personal rooms in the Arcane Sanctum and the Barracks should give rest bonus if/when you go and log out there.

 

It only makes sense.  Bed == rest.

Been playing pay-to-play MMO 14 yrs ago with no micro transactions, binds etc. and the porting was on 1 hour timer too... And getting from point A to point B could take up to 45 minutes on personal mount, I see no real reason to shorten the timeout. Especially when you level up it's advisable to walk by foot as much as you can, you can find nice gathering spots or quests on the way.

It would be nice if quest book indexed all the quests that you miss as the gray ones (unvisited). There are plenty of quests you could easily miss because they are being issued by somebody hidden in a house in village or in a wilderness. It becomes true especially when you reach Mythos-Ila-Green and quests (even grey ! marked) appear only when you get close to their level... repeatedly visiting all houses and back alleys just in case is a bit tiring. Possibly put hints where to find them at innkeepers [rumors] etc. It's a waste to miss some...

Those level restricted areas are to keep people from exploring areas too far ahead to prevent deaths from occurring, not to fully lock one from a area permanently to force them to level up.

There does however need to be a warning pop up when being teleported to a higher lvl req'd area.


If the level restriction were removed so that I could travel there unhindered (and at my own risk) I would not view this as an issue. But It is there and I am someone who likes consistency.

Either the level restriction is purposeful and the loophole exist with group summon and therefore needs to be addresses, OR, the level restriction is meant as a guideline and should be stripped from the game so that I dont need someone to summon me there ie I can travel there on my own.

I dont particularly mind which is the case but as it currently stands, I view the group summon to a higher leveled zone as an exploit.
