You recently added the ability to do NPC chats, dragons and a few other things while mounted.

 

Please can we have the ability to go through the entrance portal and the 2 lower portals in the Arcane Sanctum while mounted.

 

Will make venturing down to the depths of that place so much more bearable...

I'm not one to spend a bunch of money on games, but one thing I did decide to grab were Sacks from the store. They cost 50 Eldevin points, effectively 50 cents. Each one holds 10 STACKS of "gathering and crafting materials". This means ore, logs, fruit from foraging and I think it even stacks farming seeds. I don't know if it stores skin or raw meat, but these things are incredible.

 

I'm a miner and quickly figured out the ratio of ore to coal... that being 5 stacks of your given ore per 1 stack of coal. Well I initially bought 6 sacks, so now I fill up 5 sacks with the ore and 1 with coal. I also have to say that this also actually makes mining more enjoyable too, since I'm filling up sacks rather than my entire inventory. It just seems to go faster (though I know it doesn't) and feels nicer.

 

I'm also a tank and they are extremely useful for holding (100!) apples, so now I'm always able to heal between fights when I need to.

 

I have about 20 quests i did not complete at a low level (Due to be completely unaware where to find them)

There is an issue where quests that are indoors don't show up on the minimap. I missed a lot of quests which were in obscure places like the alchemy building or whatever.

 

Do mounts increase movement speed? If so how much, and if so why is it not specified?

I think the way it works is that the mounts themselves don't give movement speed, you can just spend more money for a better looking mount. Your speed comes from the riding training, with level 1 (which you probably have, if any at all) giving 20%.

 

Dragons are pretty expensive for a new player.

I sort of agree, though admittedly by the time I started using dragons it wasn't a huge deal. I do think the cost should be scaled based on the level of the destination (and maybe distance... WoW's travel system I think just goes off of distance).

 

Being able to directly buy Gold for USD$ seems silly.

100% disagree. I know why many people like to target this, but as an economics minor I can tell you this is absolutely a positive.

 

In so many games, including Runescape and WoW and countless others, you see these Chinese goldselling spammers all over the damned place. This is a black market. It exists because there is a demand for gold or whatever currency, and there's no legal way to obtain it. There are literally factories of Chinese over there that just farm gold to sell to us.

 

What's important to note here is that they actually exist because people DO use them and buy gold from them. So people are buying gold whether it's legal or not. The difference here is that with this black market, not only is the money (primarily) going to the Chinese, but it ISN'T going to the developers.

 

Tell me, have you seen any goldsellers in this game? I haven't.

 

Being able to buy gold is absolutely a good thing.

With various suggestions coming up regarding cross server functionality, I'd love to see a global Looking for Group.

 

With the current player base, LFG should be a viable option for finding groups.  But with players spread across servers it can still be difficult.

 

Ideally the system would gather people together on one central server for the instance and return them after.  Barring that, it could it could inform the player about a group and give them the option of automatically changing servers and joining.

I'd like to suggest that the next packs you introduce have items that only take up one inventory slot.

 

I spent a good 10,000 ep on these Halloween packs just because I could and I know many others did, the amount of useless slots that the vanity takes up is frustrating.

 

I'd like you to consider thinking of reworking how you are introducing items and vanity, sure the vanity wardrobes are 'decent' but they are still a very temporary solution to frustration. All the useless gear/vanity that players have will be going straight into the auction house when it arrives (I assume).

 

I've only logged in briefly since the steam release, but I've seen players already complaining about space, and once players start getting into the higher levels and come into wealth they will notice how tedious it is keeping track and sorting items.

 

 

 

TL;DR

 

Think about reworking how the inventory size of items are, how item sorting works and change the way packs work so you don't end up with shit tons of useless, worthless vanity. (I suggested a token system before, feel free to find the thread).

Do not launch just now, there are many things that are yet to be implemented to able to make eldevin a time spending worthy game.

Though you might launch now, i am afraid that withing few weeks, or just a single month the steam community with discard the game as "un-finshed, un-balanced, no end game.".

 

Suggestions:

  • For PVE

1. Guilds

2. Auction House

3. Class balance

4. End game

5. Open world grind-able content

6. End game progression content with variety.

that for pve.

 

  • As for PVP.

1. Need progression for pvp.[ i.e. something you can gain by spending so many hours on it and not just vanity.]

2. Need more CC and counter-CC

3. Need more challenging/interesting class playstyles.

 

  • In general

1. Even though i hate p2w models, im fine with it as your providing everything to anyone who hasn't spent a dime. This may bite you in the a$$ so i suggest you take a look again at your cash shop. Specially at the gold chest, that for some would the ONLY reason not even bothering with playing the game.

 

2. Need more vanities, yes more awsome,dark,secret,beautiful,shiny,show off,reputation grinded,world boss kills,end game raids[or dungeons in this case], and random open world content vanities

 

3. Re-model your mounts. This is not a child based MMO and the story quest has no reference to anyone with a flying cape, or a helicopter cycle.

 

4.Make things more fun, it might be tough to achieve but to able to retain players you need to make your content fun and challenging.

 

5. Replability. MMOs are not usually one time buy ,finish story quest and move onto other games.

you need to add replay ability so that the players are kept engaged even after they complete/clear the end game content.

 

The points marked in RED, are imo more important and should be at top of priority than others.

3.Remove mounts from Ta if i cant use them in pvp matches i shouldnt be able to use them there.You can add war mounts for using in combat.
4.More cute bluppity emotes.
5.Tattoos,scars(i want burn ones),crazy haircuts(with crazy colours to acompany them),birthmarks and so on.
6.The Arcane Council vanity suits mages,Order of Life vanity suits prophets,Eldevin guards vanity suit warriors,Illanes guards vanity kinda suits tanks.What about rangers and sin.The crimson macabre have pretty good clothes for sin,also with red clothes you can prolong to wash them of all the blood.
7.Houses.Big houses.Guild houses.High and awesome customization.
8.Make pets more usefull for example option to add small backpack to them so they can go on a journey and sell your trash to npcs.
9.Make vanitys which you can obtain only from quest.Also pets.
10.Shapeshifting into animals and magical creatures O_O and playing from their perspective with their unique skills.I want to play as god damn toodles.

Could add rare chance if fishing up a loss gem or old boot when fishing (or random chance of gem in old boot fished up hehe). tier of gem pending on tier of fish. and my favorite Eloom's Scale used as bait for 1 min. 5% better chance of rare gem.... okay wishful thinking. >.>

The thing is, and where it goes un-balacned. if that a cap is given many players would just make alts to farm the resources.

High level pkers provide as a bot check.

it is highly discouraging at low levels, but if you think from the other side, you still are left with what you could have farmed outside of TA.

so it is not a % of loosing resources.

it is a % of keeping the extra resources that you gained by farming in TA and luckily escaped the death.

At no point are you loosing anything more than what you could have farmed from outside of TA.

it's a like a proc buff. there is chance you can get it and enjoy the OPness of it. or sometimes not get it and be as you were with no loss.

pretty sure friends list wasnt supposed to act as a fricking advanced warning tool to every forager at trappers atol..add a pker to friends list and watch for them to log in and you exit stage left swiftly.  fix this please.

Chat mods are just yet another waste of dev time, implementing and finding the right people for. That time could be spent on useful updates.

 

There is an ignore button.

 

There is a chat filter.

 

There is an off button on your computer if you intend on being butt-hurt by words written over the internet.

I still disagree with this.

 

Having fusion powder as a bound material makes players who wants to create gems go out and grind for it themselves.

 

What this will happen if this is kept how it is, is that higher tier gems will be worth much more due to the fact they take a substantial amount of fusion powder to create.

 

If fusion powder is unbound it will lower the price of gems, add to the pay2win aspect of the game allowing people to now purchase powder/gems at a cheaper rate.

well for best results ban all 45's for killing lowbies, let botters farm TA all day, remove pvp, ahh and remove pve mobs(cause they could hurt some players)... It's pvp area , its not made to be safe there,if u dont wanna die , go gather in safier places.

I don't think anyone would be nuts enough to try and farm there though so we can probably get away with not adding farm plots ;)

If you could speed up the actions to at least double the speed, then people would farm, because they get smuggled resources too. Doing the actions faster when you are in danger is quite logical, ain't it?
