Pickpocket Gathering proffession.

-You get caught you lose reputation from who you pickpocketed from or w.e

-you get caught 3 times your sent to the nearest jail in which you need to pick pocket out of.

-With high enough pick pocketing, you can pick pocket crimson macabre vanity(extremely rare)

-pick pocket gaurds = money

-pick pocket farmers = rare seeds for example 3x as much exp for a harvest.

-A list of who you can pick pocket from on each level.

-A thievs guild.

-Thieves vanity and armor which increases the chance of pick pocketing.

I'm okay with the cooldown on Resurrection(where is that option in the poll?), but I think not being able to communicate at all while dead is problematic. Additionally, as mentioned earlier in the thread, if your resurrection is cancelled during the cast for whatever reason(such as moving or clicking), it should not activate the 5 minute cooldown.

 

I'm also curious to know if the cooldown timer is affected by Spell Haste. It should be, right?

In ta you could keep reviving someone and then kill gaining easy kill which was kinda of exploit.

why not just lengthen it in TA and keep it the same in PvE, oh wait nvm TA is PvE.

We have mounts for armorsmithing, leatherworking, and tailoring.  How about a mount for jewelcrafting?

 

Suggested formula using unblemished citrine and dense iron.  Rather then create a new mat, it could use 5 each of the tassel, buckle, and gyro.

This sounds like fun. Similar to an idea I had the other day (but never posted) having a hardcore dungeon where friendly fire is enabled. So placement of your team is a big deal and you have to watch those AoE's (also sins with their single target would be everyone's friend)

A dungeon whose entrance only opens at a certain time (fixed or random)  and closes after sometime but whoever got in can stay for longer time.  Inside is a dungeon with random spawn point like TA but for party members and it's open PVP.  It functions as a normal dungeon with mini bosses, trash mobs and one big boss but you can encounter other parties too and fight them.  Make the paths and mobs random so no speed runs and parties have to explore and have more chance to run into each other.  Also it should give rewarding loots.

 

I know this isn't feasible with the current population of the game, but this should help for longevity after guilds and steam.  Oh and make it high level only so no whining.

This has crossed my mind a few times but I haven't really thought about posting about it until now :).

 

The suggestion is: The ability to have 2 saved talent trees (An extra talent load out) . The idea is so players can have a PvE and PvP build.

 

Why would this be good for the game?

 

 

Well, since the removal of "Serenity-potion" Potions can no longer be spammed. Therefore PvP is now going to require players to be careful with their mana, mages can't just go spamming incinerate and heals etc. Yes these are abilities . but what I'm getting at is that mages will change their talents to boost the damage of abilities so they can deal greater damage at less mana costs but slower rates "pvp style" this applies for all classes.

 

PvP will be completely different in comparison to PvE. We can already see that from the arena (This is good). But this will require build changes, fighting will be difficult with the opposite scenario builds.

 

How would you prevent your idea from "Multiple class abuse" such as someone switching continually between say 'Prophet' and 'Warrior'?

 

This is quite easy and I have a few ways which all have great potential (In my opinion) of this idea being successful.

 

 - Limit this option to the "Eldevin shop" as a one time buyout for a reasonable amount (Only supporters can buy it). If a supporter who has purchased the option stops paying for supporter they will not lose the ability to use two bars. (The supporter part is debatable, but either way an extra "talent load out" would be a nice addition to the Eldevin shop.

 

- Once you switch talent load out you cannot switch back for another 30 minutes. (This really negates all abuse to this idea).

In my opinion, this all boils down to HCS decision on PvP. I just don't get why the dev would shy away from PvP (which is voluntary) and focus on more of a dungeon type based games. Hell even in FS, their most successful game, PvP is a joke.  

 

Even the most basic tournament setup(1v1 ELO/weekly) can alleviate the pressure for contents. Releasing 5 new levels of content shouldn't have people complaining a month after it comes out. PvP has the most potential to be a content multiplier out of any other aspects of this game. It is why the wilderness in RS was so popular and, in my opinion, allowed it to grow as a game. Hell release a new cache of equipment every couple weeks or so in different aspects of the games and watch as people line up to do them to try and compete in PvP. 

 

I've written a lot on this subject when I was actively playing and I still see that PvP is still abysmal. I want HCS to succeed, but Ive been pretty sad wit the direction of this game. How the hell did Mount became a priority Ill never know. Anyways here is what I think HCS should focus on in order of importance.

 

1. Hardware Rendering

2. PvP, at least a basic tournament

3. Guild/AH 

4. Skill Balance/Gem Balance

5. Make every items of type rare or better have some randomized stats.

Rather than having to chose between the two (or not using them at all, which appears to be the overwhelming case), have a single gem that regenerates both health and mana.  If that is too OP, then drop the regen rating a little.

Not just TA slip! privacy options should be available throughout the whole game... that would also solve your problem, you could choose to login anonymously and then go stalk in TA.  :P

 

They need to fix the fact that anyone can add anyone to friends list too, we should have to "accept" a friend request.

Only thing encouraging in this shot is the open world I'm seeing with the new graphics acceleration.  As far as the superman cape I'm really against it.  It's bad enough we have a carpet, rocket and wings for mounts that I feel do not fit with the game.  I wouldn't mind if this was used as a [GM] mount.  But, this shouldn't be released for the players.  Regular cape would be fine as vanity or you could be able craft one onto your current gear.

NO!  it is the one place we have left that is fun and exciting! people can quit crying about dieing and work together and find a way to beat it alphamale showed its possible  me and seraphim and some dps found it's even possible without fable set just very hard we could get soo close

 

so no don't nerf it leave it a lone let us work to beat it and have fun doing it.  we've lost all otehr challenges in the game let us keep this one please! :)

how about this...

New fabled belt...only obtainable from wb drops.....and very very rarely. 1 set for each class....gives +4 potion slots= 1 more bar and 5% potion effectiveness+ must have better stats then normal heroic wb belts.

When you cut down logs, you make them into timber, gaining forestry experience.  The same goes for crystal cutting, prospecting, etc.

 

With fish, all we do is cook with it, which doesn't do anything to increase our fishing experience.  Why not descale the fish and gut them for added fishing skills?
