The best suggestion made regarding this was, I think, the one that said the following.

 

Have a L.U.P. "combat set", in essence - or two extra at a maximum.

 

The first  would cost around the 50 fsp and the 2nd, around the 100 fsp mark (adjustable by the cows, of course), but you could then allocate your LUP's in 2 or 3 different ways.

 

They would have to figure out a way to address skill points too, of course, but that could be tied into the LUP "combat set", resetting them (so you have to reallocate them each time you switch sets) ?

If they become regular, daily events, then folk will "demand" that the price changes in the "normal" market to reflect that

 

These flash sales should be once a week, at most - and random days. I'd even go so far to say fortnightly ...

Yeah, I concur

 

Nice to see the game getting more attention at last.

 

Do I agree with all the changes ? - Hell no - but then you can't please everyone all of the time.

I just wish that, if the cows introduce something major and new, that they don't flip-flop at the first sign of "revolt" in future.

 

Stick to your guns - work it so that more people get on board with it, but don't go "belly-up" 'cos some folk scream loudly..

Grim, you said those spirits and stuff are going to be used to make Epic Chests, any info when ? I thought I was the only one but seems like others don't have enough BP slots to carry them.....

 

I think that's next on the list, after completing the "Present Darkness (EPIC)" questline ;)

Perhaps I misstated something. All I'm wondering is when they are going to implement the next phase in whatever was originally planned for composing.  I'm not suggesting anything new.

 

What was originally planned for composing was a level cap of 50 :)

When I said perhaps some new potions, I meant slotting them into the existing 60 levels of composing.

 

There's NO need to go above Level 60 as potions made at that level are not exactly short of "stopping power" and thus there's no need to increment them further.

Bring on Level 70 composing !!

 

There are many lvl 60 composers in the game now who are ready to continue on in composing.

 

I personally hit lvl 60 composing 5 months ago and im ready to start sinking my gold back into composing again !

 

Also i would love to be able to compose a lvl 500 Animal Mag.  Composers need a LOT of drops and I believe that a lvl 500 Animal Mag will greatly help all composers.

 

So, you want composing potions to equal epic potions ?

 

Then what ?

 

Folk will want those epic potions upgrading and the cycle of "give me more, give me more" starts all over again (not that it ever goes away)

 

Composing potions are high enough level as they are.

 

Introduce some NEW ones, perhaps, but don't increase the level of the existing ones.

If you're going to have random events (which are a great idea btw), then please MAKE them random ?

 

As in - NO NOTICE given, they just appear, run and expire.

 

('cos if you even hint at giving any warning of 'em, then as you full well know, folk will demand longer and longer advance notice of 'em ... )

Daily quests ? - how about that 2 yr old ( I think ) epic quest being finished (and maybe more added) ? ;)

Just seems a little odd to me that there is a game anomaly here, which "favours" those with ladder tokens ...

Let me explain.

Arena :- Win tokens (bound), buy resources (unbound), buy gear / buy potions (unbound)

Ladder :- Win tokens (bound), buy resources (BOUND), make gear / buy potions (unbound)

Given that arena resources (or the items they're derived from) are unbound, why aren't the same items from the ladder ?

Ergo :-

 

Ladder players can make items that require arena resources - and thus don't need to do arena

Arena players CAN'T make items that require ladder resources - and thus need to do the ladder too, or buy the invented item.

they tried this in,sigmastorm...take a spin thru that game once and you'll see a dead game,very very few play it....why? because it wasnt user friendly or pvp friendly...it just doesnt work....

 

This excuse gets trotted out all the time - real, on the same map, PvP killed SigmaStorm ... I call BS.

 

That "MAY" be one of the reasons, but there were plenty of others too...

 

Mostly, lack of cow time spent on it (because it didn't take off as well as they hoped), poor interface, BUT, it had a much better, richer story line and choice of character to play so was more in-depth ...

FSH is not something you can "ban". Anything other then FSH is though. IE alterations to FSH code etc.

 

Of course you can ban it ...

 

Implement the features and then ban ALL scripts.

 

At the moment, the FSH is an approved script and thus, by default, so are "tinkered with" versions - because, as far as I understand it, they're hard / impossible to differentiate between the real and "dodgy" versions.

All facilities in the FSH should be implemented so that it can, once and for all, be banned.

 

Don't get me wrong, I love the functionality it offers, but that functionality should be IN-GAME and not an add-on.

 

Also, removing the "stock" FSH will also mean any "tinkered with" versions of it are also outlawed - and we all know that there are some of those around ;)
