#927785 Unsold Auction House Items go Straight to Backpack Option

I got this idea reading the other Auction House Thread.  What if something happens and you cant get back online?

 

Can we have an option to have expired auctions go straight to our backpack if there is room, otherwise they stay in your mailbox?  This would be a nice catch all for people who have bought the BP, but have something come up and cant come online for a few days.

 

I personally cannot see any downside / abuse with this option, and it will save a bit of headache at least!

 

I thought that was suggested and implemented some time ago ?

 

I don't know if it actually was tho, 'cos I'm too careful with my mailbox LOL.

So is it just teleporting within the same map ? - I hope not, pretty sure it was hoped to be so much more than that - ie teleporting to any map that the player has access to ..

What WOULD be nice is to see this epic quest finally finished ...

 

How long ago were they all introduced and, barring this one, completed ?

 

How much longer do our active quest books have to show "Please note, you will not be able to advance in this particular Quest until the next Epic Quest arc is released. You CAN continue with Signs and Portents (Epic)." ?

 

PLEASE finish this quest off ... and, time permitting, add some new ones. But, for now, I'll settle for this being finished.

 

I know it's been raised a a gazillion times already - here's to gazillion+1 getting a result ;)

am not sure about moving on the map but I am not able to kill any creature I hit it and shows that am killing it forever lol

 

Same - just get the spinning globe. The critter dies, the screen just sits on the spinning circle and doesn't update the kill. A map refresh is needed for the critter to disappear.

 

This is happening, for me, with AND without the FSH enabled.

 

Pls fix :)

Funny how when I brought this up, I got trolled for it, but now (admittedly a month later), it's a hot potato :)

 

That said, I pretty much agree with everything that's been said here.

It seems that something newer and shinier has taken them away from "our" game which is a crying shame ...

would be nice if composing had an Auto Make type system lol so when im offline at work and not able to log on on the hour to make another pot it would be set to auto make ... i know it wont happen and is why i dont compose.. cause i either forget about Re-making them or i just dont have time to log in and do it.... i know.. i know.. its my problem and wont be changed.. but..  .. .. . .... . ... .  Cheers.!

 

There is one - it's called scripting ;)

 

It's not legal, but I'm 100% convinced it's endemic in various facets of the game ..

I did not request for the drop rate of 1.5 % for legendaries and crystal be increased.  You referred to these events.  I agree that the drop rate on these items be kept low to give the items some value.

 

BUT, it should be  recognised that composable pot making should also reflect this.  Too many of these hard earned frags are required to make good useable pots.

 

At the very least the chests should give more of these frags and should give what is required when actually making these potions.

 

Im pretty sure that when the community catches up with the high lvl composers the changes will be made, but unfortunately there is not enough high lvl composers to make enough noise to be heard, and we need to struggle to get what we require.

 

I didn't suggest you did suggest the drop rate was increased - I suggested that as an alternative to changing the chests back to their initial levels to suit yourself and a small group of high level composers to the detriment of most lower level composers still going thru commons at a great rate.

 

Existing LE/SE/Crystal drops have little value any longer, so increasing the drop rate to accommodate higher level composers seems a step in the right direction to me ?

 

Plus, I said for NEW sets (i.e. ones still on the drawing board), the drop rate should remain at 1.5% ... or, ideally, even lower still.

 

Salvaging existing set values is never going to happen (given the demand for LE/Crystal events) - maintaining new ones is still an option .

I'm more than happy with the mix of fragments in the chests now - previously, there were not enough commons (which, let's be honest here, the VAST majority of composers can't get enough of) and way too many higher level fragments (which, again, being honest, the VAST majority of composers weren't using at all or in VERY small quantities).

 

There have just been 2 back-2-back LE events in the realms, and, prior to that, if I recall correctly, 2 back-2-back Crystalline events - and these are far more common than previously.

 

There was a forum thread previously (which I've just looked for and can't find) where plenty of players asked for the balance to be changed heavily in favour of commons - which BG agreed with / to.

We could do something like with the keys gold or tokens, or either gold into tokens maybe ya know not saying 1 gold per token but on the same ratio as the keys maybe

 

 

I agree that all loyalty potions should have a gold value as well.... to me, loyalty is about being here, not what we spend on the game.  We that donate get more tokens, that should be bonus enough.... 

 

Key prices need looking at - for the contents of the chests, the key prices are, not to beat about the bush, ridiculously expensive.

 

Loyalty potions however ? - no, they should remain as token only purchases.  This debate about making them available to all players via gold purchase has been trotted out time and time again, with the same result (thankfully).

 

Are the loyalty potions much good these days ? - for the most part, no (sadly) - but hopefully they'll get addressed and make them more useful (and have uses across all aspects of the game)

 

That doesn't alter the fact that they are called LOYALTY potions - bought with LOYALTY tokens which are given to every player once every day that they log on (or, obviously, as a result of making game donations) - and that should stay as it is.

we have xp events, LE events, global events, cave events, ...

 

maybe soon composing events so when are we having a PvP event?

(I know this has been asked many times before + NONE of the events are mandatory, players choose to participate in them !!!)

 

In all the events you've mentioned above, bar 1, participation is voluntary.

 

In a PvP event, participation would not be voluntary (from the targets perspective at least).

 

Now, were that PvP event to be something that everyone who wanted to participate in, opted in for, leaving those that didn't "outside" the event, then sure, go for it ..

So, you want to be able to go offline, with attack/defensive buffs wearing 9 x 1 piece sets ?

 

Whilst I'd love to feel more "secure" in my epics, I think that this idea is, despite your protestation to the contrary, WAY overpowered.

 

I've just run some numbers on my offline setup ...

 

With just a few of those buffs ("only" at Level 175 too, mind), my stats went from ..

4691 / 6366 / 6930 / 13259

 

to

 

13135 / 12374 / 7536 / 25774

 

and with composing buffs (I've used Melissa's as an example of the highest level available - dunno if anyone else is higher?), those numbers go  to

 

23000 / 15500 / 8000 / 45000 (rounded up)

 

1. Yes, folk will feel safer in their offline epics

 

2. Not quite sure how boosting offline epic stats is going to reduce animosity ? - unless you just mean that we, who wear them, feel less "picked on" ? (your words, not mine)

 

BG has repeatedly said that there will be no epic sets (not sure if anyone has mentioned ONE piece sets before however) and I think he's right to stick to that.

 

I wear my epics purely and simply to regain stamina more quickly. The stats associated with those items are secondary.
