Leave it as it is.  Seems umimportant in the grand scheme of things...and a request being made for personal convenience for players who don't want to take some responsibility for trashing their potions.  Composing means...composing potions and the focus should remain on composing/collecting rather than discarding. Make the extra click, it takes what,...1 second? maybe 2 seconds?  Why should the developers waste time making it convenient for people who aren't using the composing function as it was meant when they should be working on the roadmap they put forth to improve all aspects of the game.
