Would it be possible to add the, Right Click, of the mouse as another function to activate teleport other than the, T, would give easier accessibility for those using mouse when traveling the world map.

Bluetail hasn't added any friends yet.

I want to know what games out there have been around for 10 years that give new players the ability to jump immediately up to where long time players are at. Not that I play many, but I have yet to see one and doubt it would be much of a challenge. I'm never going to understand the mind set of why so many people want the easy win. Where is the fun in clicking a few buttons and considering the game won? And why is EOC so important? I hate leveling. 1234r for 2 hours at a time is boring. I've been around like 8 yrs or something, so not quite as long as some of the old timers but certainly am not new. If leveling was all it was about, I'd have left a long time ago. Giving 'new' players an easy win isn't going to give them more reason to be interested in staying around in the game. There needs to be some sort of challenge, or something to strive for. Otherwise, what's the point?

W/e enjoy ur game then, you brag you played for 10 years, where is the catch up mechanism for new players? You worked hard blah blah blah... who cares? You are less important then the new fresh players for a game to survive. You experienced it all. All I am saying is this game will most likely not live for 10 more years, and if it does, then great. To my point: I don't want to play for 10 years to catch up to you, I will most likely never experience what you are experiencing. You are to selfish to see the problem imo.
Top players have 150+ stam/hr
You can't catch up, there's no catch up mechanism in the game, that's the problem.
What you brag you did in 10 years, I want to do in half at least

*snip*
Now there I do agree completely. Viewing this from an angelic perspective will most certainly help.
ahhh that part of the last post made me laugh out very loud. You beat me to the reply on it, hat´s off to you (if it wasn't so bloody cold outside that is) ![]()
And for the Qloak fella; With that attitude, you will not make EOC not matter what is thrown at you.
So many ppl explaining the whys and dos on how to move up in lvls, faster than the rest of us did, and yet you complain and argue for a "instant EOC" button. Come on! Seriously? This game is about making progress via game play. Some have made it the hard way (us oldies) and some the not-so-very-hard way. The common being "we made it" - none of us got it handed to us.
It's fun achieving something yourself (with help from your guild and friends of course). You should try it.

Common ground or not, many of the PvP hits are on offline players and it's the same with GvG.
Yes? Players can only play when they're online, and shouldn't be required to adjust their activity to when others are online. It has been stated in so many threads, by some many players, and current/former staff members by now, that there are plenty of ways to minimize the risk of getting hit while you're offline.
I think the general mass of players might just put up 5 days worth of PvP protection and wait out the event.
There we go; One of the ways to try and minimize the risk.
You see, those that play the other aspects of the game do not need the PvP player to enjoy their game time, whereas the PvP player absolutely Does NEED these players to play their aspect of the game.
Actually, that is not entirely correct. PvPers does LIKE to have levelers around for the gold hits, but tbh they do not need 'em. They'd be just as happy to hit each other. Some have even pushed for the ability to hit their own guild members over the years.. some still do. What you maybe do not understand is the fact, that most PvPers do it because they find it fun. Not to cause harm to anyone - nomatter what the propaganda says.
Give it more thought and don't be so quick to shoot down ideas that don't suit your style of play, or try to force everyone to play your style of game. Different can be a good thing.
Yes, different opinions can evolve new things, but again you go with the "force your style" comments? PvP is a part of the game, and performed via the build in game mechanics, so if it is any-ones style of play, that would be HCS.
Besides that, I think Cali is doing a perfectly fine job in pointing out what parts in your suggestion, would never work - and why it will not work... and if I have to shine my own light, I actually think I have tried to help you towards not being so protective of your idea, and trying to listen instead of just jumping into the defensive stance.

The player base has become so thin, opening the PvP attack range makes sense. I have 7 players in my range for example. I'm absolutely sure there are ranges with much less. While some continue to want to water down PvP, after PvP protection was instituted I've wanted nothing but the opposite to make THE GAME GREAT AGAIN!! Let's hope Hoof has some time in his busy schedule to do some real development again.

You're welcome! Yeah, I've been super busy. Been a bit crazy. Now I gotta look to more content and Christmas! It's all go at top speed for the rest of the year!
There are tons of LEs in lower ranges and they certainly don't need any for the Oidhche Shamhna event!
~ Grim
So does the Bolded imply NO 10th Birthday event?

That's my point, though. Make the Relics worth fighting for. This game has a PvP element specifically for Relics and I don't think it's hardly being used. The mega buffs and gear have almost made all relics obsolete, and so relic battles rarely happen anymore. It kind of reminds me of GvG. I've seen a spike in GvG lately. Did something change? The rules on relics need to change.
I'm not sure why you think relics and pvp go together. PvP players have been being suspended, banned, and worse for years when it comes to pvp and relics. You can't tell someone you are hitting them to defend the relic your guild wants to hold. That's abusive! Or at least it is more then enough to have Grim step in and start deleting everything, suspending everyone, and making his own threats. That's why there are no more good guild wars.

in before the lock
locking threads doesn't help mitigate the issue, in fact it only makes matters worse!

Again, a few people complaining of the issue. A lot of people not seeing anything.
Just because people don't comment on something does mean there's not a problem?

I do think the cows should look at ways to make sure a lower level player can actually complete the task set out. Not sure how to do that, but that's what the cows get paid the big bucks for. Maybe something like a 1 x a day reset button on the daily for those who can't complete the daily set that day. Though even as I write that, I see where it could be abused.
I can't think of anything worse for the game than making it unplayable for new players. Nothing! This is where developmental interaction with players is mandatory. There should be a stickied thread just to find and fix these issues.

Would you please explain the rationale behind these two similar quests?
TOPIC: SHOULD SOME DQs BE REVIEWED?
I think this one should.
[ Rare ]
Defeat 450 Champion creatures: Gain +25 Max Stamina
[ Legendary ]
Defeat 225 Champion Creatures : Gain +610 Reserve Stamina
Shouldn't a Legendary quest be more difficult? I'm not attempting to quantify the reward, I'm merely addressing the disparity between a more difficult rare quest than a Legendary one. Am I the only one who sees it?

I agree there are some daily quests that seem silly to me. But for every one I think isn't worth my time, there are 2 guildmates/friends who are thrilled to get the same thing. You are rarely going to 'break even' on any quest. The point is to work for the reward. If you don't think the effort is worth the reward, then wait until tomorrow. It's not always going to work in your favor. That makes the days that it does all the nicer.
