I asked if English could be spoken,the response was a bit long in time,so i edited the post and attempted the best I could to put in Portuguese a decent build to help him out. - sorry can't speak Portuguese.
I do support the idea however I feel it would be easier to make a topic for f6 chat,and make a "Portuguese chat" for portuguese speaking players or Spanish speaking players etc. Even making a guild for such when they come out would be helpful. Advertise the ingame chat itself on forums promoting the purpose of the chat itself or guild.

#855274 Full Size map

Am I the only person who would like to see a map that isn't split into many different sections that you must be standing in? Sometimes I would like to see a map for general reference, but I'm in Eldevin city for example and can't see anything about the other side of the world.. Thoughts? Or has this already been brought up..
#853184 Ancient MMO features rarely seen in modern MMOs

Rare features seldom seen in MMO's today but that existed in the very, very oldest MMOs.
+++
Sashes: cast a single spell type - healing, lightning, freezing, etc. Give non-mage/non-healers a single type of spell. Holds fixed number of charges, must be recharged at NPC. Acts as gold-sink.
+++
Booby trapped chests:
Physically locked - poison, disease, explosive.
Magically locked - random teleport, summon mob, individual or group debuff of all buffs
Bashing chest open sets off booby trap.
To implement in Eldevin would require providing many chests with locks. Classes that would have unlock skills: Assassin (physical), Mage (magical)
+++
Traps: found in dungeons, consist of - poison, disease, random teleport, chutes that drop you to a lower and more dangerous level for multilevel dungeons, spinners that rotate you without noticing in a random direction so that you get confused since you are no longer heading where you think you are heading.
In Eldevin, the class that could learn the ability to "see" traps -- Rangers
+++
Stone -- dungeon boss effect -- not only does it kill you it turns you to stone. (Original games stone cost attribute points and aged character.) In Eldevin it would cost 10% attribute for 1 hour after resurrection.
In Eldevin, the class that could learn the ability to remove stone effect -- Prophets
+++
Charm -- ability to charm mob or mobs to fight with character. Lasts until mobs die. Charmed mobs cannot be healed. Charming a mob adds experience equal to killing it.
In Eldevin, the class that could learn the charm talent -- Templars. Note: this would help make templars more attractive to run because it would make templars easier to level.
+++
Intimidate - ability to cause mobs to flee. Only works on mobs below the level of the intimidator.
In Eldevin, the class that could learn the intimidate talent -- Warriors
+++
I think implementing concepts like this would help make Eldevin more unique.

#853103 Option to hide helmets/hats

especially as a mage with those ugly hoods
a ha ha
Like the crafted metal and leather helms are any prettier ![]()
As said above, you can buy an invisible hood (and other invisible clothes...) from the Loyalty section of the Eldevin Market.
You could also equip a paper hat (if you don't have one, I think some people are still willing to give those away or sell for cheap), or if you can then buy some vanity head equipment with EP. I bought a bandana, at least it claims to be a bandana but it's just wrapped around your eyes, with holes for eyes so you can see, it's pretty much the same or even cooler than the invisible hood.

If you can gather up enough loyalty points there's also the invisible hood vanity item.

#851076 New Game Content!

This isn't even suggestion, its complainment.
I am 100% sure they are aware about the lack of content. Definately working on it, that I am also 100% sure. I am also 100% sure that you don't have a clue about game developing.
No need to make "whiny" or "wnb grand" topic like this to leave. You just leave quietly and thats it.
Though, I feel like there is one thing that boosts this "problem" you describe. Which is the P2W factor of the game, you "pay to progress" as people here want to think it is. Then you end up being bored quickly while also messing up the Economy like those botters.
#851817 Split Offensive sorcery and healing sorcery
Posted by Keldray
on 26 February 2014 - 17:07
I know some people will disagree with this suggestion, but i'll explain my personal reasonment about it, it's fairly simple:
Sorcery is a multi-task stat, while melee and ranged has only 1 purpose, which is damage.
A character investing into sorcery has the advantage over the 2 other types, they can dish out damage and heal, while investing into a single stat instead of spreading out, i've also noticed in the talents trees that there is no dodge nodes for ranged or spells, which leaves melee at a disadvantage in PvP.
So my suggestion is to make healing-based items, and offensive spell based items, instead of just merging them together.
#825589 Official Stance on Bots

Hey folks,
Just wanted to make it clear that we do not allow using any sort of bot.
A bot (or afk macro gaming) is a method of controlling an character by an automated means that does not require direct interaction from a player.
If you suspect a character is being played by a bot, please submit a ticket with the username of the suspected bot to https://www.huntedcow.com/support
If one of our Game Masters visits you, please respond to them, if you don't respond in an appropriate time and they deem you to be a bot your account will be suspended from the game for up to a week and a warning issued. If this happens again your account will be permanently suspended from the game.

Personally i enjoy game more than in beta phase. What i don't understand why people need to level to 40 in 2-3 weeks and then bitching (sorry for my language) about updates and enhancements every day ? Yes i would like AH asap but new game can bring new rules so just accept them. I realized those after being disappointed with beta in one moment. When new set of levels will come out just don't run to top level but enjoy playing for a while. Be happy with new full set for a day or two etc... What is real problem is that the base of players is rather limited and that is my main concern about games future.

Tanks/Healers, The two most unplayed classes in nearly every MMORPG. You guys have made them lifeless and a very boring two classes to play, not knowing the facts i'd make a educated guess out of every 20 dps there is 1 healer 1 tank. The fact being, neither classes have any benefit out of dungeons and world bosses. Tanks can not AoE down mobs like all other classes which render their gold income by alot since the main and most efficient way of obtaining gold is leveling to 40 the fastest way possible, currently hit lvl 25 as mage then warrior to 40 gaining 1 level per hour after the level 25. Then killing mobs or abusing high drop rate mobs.
You realise if all classes had strong aoes and damage there would be no reason to have damage dealers? Mages and warriors are the only classes than can effectively grind mobs for gold, otherwise it's a waste of time invested for the gold/ph.
If you're looking to reach just end-game as fast as possible warrior or mage as the best choice, don't expect to take prophet, templar, assassin or ranger and reach end-game as fast as the other two. I think that's fairly balanced, 2 main AOE classes 2 main single target classes and 2 support classes.
As for the other stuff, HCS regularly give us updates and info on things to come, the only reason why everything is behind schedule is because they're such a small team and so much is in the process of being added (client, rendering, level update, content update, guilds, AH... etc).
This thread was pointless, just because you're upset cannot change the workspeed that they're going at. I've seen HCS members working on fixes and pushing out updates way past their work hours, and that's a regular thing.
While I do agree there is a lack of content there's still a decent amount of stuff to do. A large part of the stuff to do involves professions and achievements, but they might not be your thing.
Finally, instead of writing a complaint why not try to suggest your ideas? If you see no interest in the game then so be it, it's understandable than Eldevin won't be for everyone.

#849703 Damage, Support & Threat meters on world bosses (and maybe more)
Posted by Neon
on 16 February 2014 - 17:16
It would be nice to see these added ( I know threat meters and maybe damage meters have been suggested before) but I'll go into a little more detail here.
Damage meters:
In a world boss encounter the top 5 damage dealers will be displayed through the fight with their class and their damage in real time.
Your "personal" damage caused is displayed under the top 5 damage dealers.
Support meters:
The way I'm going to suggest this will make support meters the most complicated thing to implement out of the 3 meters.
Your "support" score will be made up of different things.. so...
- If you cast a damage reducing ability on another player, the damage which is reduced will be added to your score.
- If you heal another player the heal will be added to your score
- If you add modifiers to the boss such as damage increase, armor reduction.. etc.. the extra damage dealt through the multipliers will be added to your score.
In a world boss encounter the top 5 support point holders will be displayed through the fight with their class and in real time.
Your "personal" support points will be displayed under the top 5 support players.
Threat meters:
Threat caused through direct threat abilities, damage, healing.. etc will all be displayed (top 5 threat causers will be displayed during the fight). Follow the same pattern as the other two.
End of a fight:
All players who participated in the fight will be given a score screen, much like in pvp. Which will display everyones damage, support and threat caused.
This could be applied to instances but it would need some tweaking.
