I would just remove pvp from dailies. That seems like the simplest solution. I know levelers are like fine I'll do a few pvp hits because the cows made me do it to complete my daily, haha. Seems like a forced way to get a few people to hit in pvp. 

DQ is a forced way to get you to participate in absolutely every DQ it presents. Remove DQ in general following that logic.

Due to feedback, we have decided to revert the changes to Dark Curse.
 
0.1% reduction per point to enemy Defense > 0.2% reduction per point to enemy Defense
 
Additionally, the time between Arena rounds has been decreased to 5 minutes. We apologize for the inconvenience caused!

It’s been awhile so has there been any resolution on reverting Dark Curse? I look forward to the reply.

Hoof is looking to revert Dark Curse either today or early next week  :) We will let everyone know when this is done!

 

The new roadmap will also be available next week as well  :D

The first 5 pages were of people arguing against it. There was practically no one arguing FOR it. Frankly, it made sense.

I take exception to this, it shows a clear bias in my opinion.

This is a tally of published opinions up to that point:

Bearing in mind that this is the internet, malcontents and luddites are quick to spew
their venom. My hypothesis was that the naysayers were just posting more frequently,
let's have a look at the top 10:

It looks to me like the people against the proposed changes are making much more noise
than the happy people. A result that should shock absolutely no one. It happens every time
and good changes get watered down to placate vested interests.

Bro I agree with you on things and disagree on some... I know Doubler buff is the most desired for high stamina players but at same time it doesn't hurt other players who can't afford it to work for monthly medal or top 100 medal  like high level AL , LIB and conserve ...

 

I just see no point to it.  Level 2000 is already ample. Anymore is just lazy.

 

your argument about leveling on elite doesn't make sense because the elite spawn every 15 min  and leveling on it will take lots of time (maybe make doubler 5000 have lower duration to change your concern? and thats another reason why BM500 is bad) 

 

Not true, every elite I have hunted respawns within no real time if I refresh my screen after killing, I have actually had occasions where the elite as been caught in AM respawn and I haven't moved from that spot for 5 levels (okay that could of been a glitch in the game). 

 

I concede the benefits of hunting on elites with AS1150 and Doubler 5750 maybe outweighed by the time it takes to hunt them, but players will figure out best methods for themselves I guess.

 

My other side of view on doubler 5000 it could help low level players with low stamina banks to level faster if they hunt a few low level elites  that spawn rate more than higher level ones  .(of course they need the right setup and buffs  to kill them easily )

which is great thing for the game !

 

Not following this one.  If you have low level stam then your hunt is going to be over mighty quick with 5750 doubler. Isn't hunting about hunting, not just maximum levelling with minimal effort?  That is like paying to go on a sea fishing expedition and as soon as you board the boat you just drop a mine in the water and BOOOOOM, job done. :-)

I was happy when I saw token rewards to finally use my tokens but these potions are bad.

 

al, am, lib and conserve are too high, need to be lower a lot.

 

how can you make token potions higher level than fsp offers that give epic chests (need real money to donate)?

with these high token skill levels you are destroying values of donation chests.

 

 

distil 250 and brewing master 500 will make the game worse, this is obvious and worst of all is bm 500.

remove both from loyalty reward, distil 150 is max from zombie brew and brewing master 300 is max from arena shop.

if you were reading forum for problems or know how high distil and high bm effect the game (pvp, gvg and the rest) badly then you would never have added them, remove those mistakes.

 

please try adding skills that do not break the game more than it already has.

you gain tokens by donating real money and mainly by being loyal player.  
and moreover they are bound.
they should be a bit more than chests that are gained by simple donations..
u have to donate AND be loyal to have access to something more.

Today we are posting these proposed changes and additions to Loyalty Potions. These changes and additions are due to a combination scouring the forums for ideas as well as some ideas of our own.
 
Changes: 
 
Here are a few changes we are considering to existing potions.
 
Change Potion of Intensity to:
Doubler 1500 Loyalty 200
Increase to Doubler 2000 maintain 200 token cost
 
Change Auspice of Ancients to:
Conserve 440 Loyalty 100
Increase to Conserve 500 maintain 100 token cost
 
Change Scholars Draft to:
Adept Learner 400 Loyalty 250
Librarian 400
Increase to Adept Learner and Librarian 500 increase to 350 token cost
 
Potion of Ultimate Global Acceleration Cost reduced to 1000.
Sure
 
Move Fast Track Draft from Caves and upgrade to buff level 200. Loyalty: 100.
Sure
 
New: 
 
Here are 13 new proposed potions and their loyalty costs.
 
Warriors Elixir. Loyalty: 750
Fury Level : 200 Duration : 120m
Berserk Level : 200 Duration : 120m
Dark Curse Level : 200 Duration : 120m
Enchanted Weapon Level : 200 Duration : 120m
Wither Level : 200 Duration : 120m
Shatter Armor Level : 200 Duration : 120m
Increase buffs to level 250 and increase token cost to 1000
 
Potion of the Quester. Loyalty:  500
Find Item Level : 400 Duration : 120m
Quest Finder Level : 200 Duration : 120m

Increase Find Item to 500, QF to 250, and QH to 250 and increase token cost to 750

I guess this is okay, but I don't think it works with Conserve
 
Forgemaster Draft. Loyalty:  150
Epic Forge Level :  200 Duration : 120m
Increase to level 250 but also add Epic Craft 250 and increase token cost to 300
 
Magical Carapace. Loyalty:  500
Defensive Aura Level : 250 Duration : 120m
Layered Armor Level : 250 Duration : 120m
Seems fine to me
 
Hunting Lord Potion. Loyalty:  500
Doubler Level : 3000 Duration : 120m
Absolutely, yes!
 
Potion of the Divine Hunter. Loyalty:   1000
Doubler Level : 5000 Duration : 120m
Absolutely, yes! But maybe decrease the token cost to like 750 since doubler 3000 is 500 tokens.
 
Potion of Divine Knowledge. Loyalty:  750
Adept Learner Level : 1000 Duration : 120m
Librarian Level : 900 Duration : 120m
Yes and yes!
 
Rampage Potion. Loyalty:  750
Animal Magnetism Level : 500 Duration : 120m
Conserve Level : 1000 Duration : 120m
Yup, love it!
 
Alchemist Prized Potion. Loyalty:  750
Distil Level : 250 Duration : 120m
Brewing Master Level :  500 Duration : 120m
Distil 250 seems to be the most contested buff.  I think it should stay, but maybe have the cost increased to 1500 tokens
 
Potion of Supreme Global Acceleration. Loyalty 2000
Global Booster 1000
Yes, but decrease token cost to 1000
 
Potion of Devilish Global Acceleration. Loyalty 3000.
Global Booster 1500
Yes, but decrease token cost to 1250
 
Potion of Godly Global Acceleration. Loyalty 5000.
Global Booster 2000
Yes, but decrease token cost to 2000

Continues to make sense even with that argument. Especially considering lots of people hunt under 6-12 times a year that would benefit from utilizing that potion with that barrier to entry. 


even if a player, logs in dayly,   and get 5 loylaty points, u'll need to join 1,5 year daily to gather 3000 points..


if that's your problem and want ppl to really donate to have access to those pots, then yeah, make them even more pricey
4000.



and i dont undestand your point about playres hunting less than 6 times per year or more,  each player decides how to play the game on his-her way, who are u to show them on how to hunt?

please stick just to the conversation about the pots.



and the cows, if till this far they were hearing from "arena experts" about the changes in the arena, or the "pvp experts" about changes in the pvp,   or the "leveling experts" about stuff about leveling or whatever,
perhaps they should also do the same on this aspect as well.



you get the higher chests by donating to the game , and by making a fortune u may sell them in them in the AH,

having untratable chests, will drive ppl to either being daily joiners to gather loyalty points (more activity)
or completing more daily rewards (so more daily activity)
or donate more which, really, is good for the game.  it saddens me that u cant see that, cause it really is what keeps the game running and covering the costs of the game..

Mostly good changes except for the removal of the big AL, Lib, Cons, Distil.

Very sad that the vocal minority have got their way again.


we came, we saw the proposed changes, we liked them,

and then we find out that they are overuled by the same ppl that dont want changes or want to loose their "earnings" from other aspects of the game go away and who keep naging for pages and pages in the forum till they get their way..

i hope cows listen to their original ideas and change it back to what they first proposed.


if they want to make the ppl who complaint happy, make the proposed "awful" pots way more loyalty expensive..

and at some point, it would make sence to also listen to ppl who really donate and not just the ppl who complaint..

Arterial Strike Level :  1000 Duration : 120m

Hunting elites is not viable they don't respawn with AM. Could take forever to get enough kills on them to level up.

How about loyalty token flash sales where some pots go on sale for limited period of time, for limited quantity per player

I like the Brewing Master 500.  Any high level of brewing master helps ladder and GvG players who want to stay buffed all the time.  That it will make BM 300 from arena less profitable is a plus.  It is hard to compete in the arena because of too many people entering events just to sell the rewards.  I want to get my arena medal someday.

 

The buffs potions do have levels that are too low for them to be woth purchasing, at least at 120 min duration.  Lvl 200 available in buffs market.  Extended duration would be an interesting alternative to changing the level and would make them worthwhile.

Some players started fleeing of Arena due to long waiting time between rounds, like really.. 10 mins to 5 mins to 15 mins for every time the game lagging Arena players taking the punishment !

My final say is this. Go with all proposed except distil, doubler, arterial Strike, brew master. These are not needed and are already overpowered. Arterial Strike just remove from game now that SH is mahooosive

Why still insisting to remove  Arterial Strike  ? :) it is good buff to use for those who cant get enough damage to 1 hit ..

 

also as i said above in my posts  it  should be added as level 1500 to make new leveling method ;)

Instead of Higher level buffs we have access to, why not just add NEW BUFFS that can be bought , even if they are only LVL 175, but only exclusive to allegiance shop

 

 

Example ( Quick attack ) which is one we can see i action house search, can be lvl 175 for 10 tokens 

 

any one have thoughts on this way to implement a few new buffs?
