As a veteran FS player, I'd like to say that this is a truly addictive game, simply because of all the friends I have made here....

Why do I do this to myself.....
Anyway, here's my humble opinion, coming from a player who plays the game every way that is offered.
If you click the attack button, there's a chance you'll end up on the bounty board. Obvious, right? Some people don't think so. When you end up on the bounty board, sometimes a few people, who happen to be virtual friends, accept this bounty, and you may lose 5 levels. Game mechanics at work, as it was intended to be played.
Now, here's where it gets tough.
The player who just lost 5 levels...He now has at least 4 targets to put on the bounty board. So, considering that turnabout is fair play, this player gets a few of his virtual friends to take these bounties, and said friends drop them all 5 levels as well. Now, considering there was no trash talk involved, this is usually the end of it. Everyone moves on, has a few laughs, and at the end of the day, sometimes a new virtual friendship is born. This happens, honestly, at least 75% of the time. Say what you want about the terrible PvP guys if you must, but they really aren't that bad.
The downfall of a good time...
Somewhere along the way, it's almost inevitable these days that one of the players involved will get their virtual feelings hurt. They begin flexing their little tiny keyboard muscles in PM's, sending in tickets, reporting bio's, and generally being a pain in everyone's hind parts. This is where the dark side of PvP comes out. Now, this player enters themselves on an invisible list. Players on this list will forever be smashed at every opportunity. Then the players doing the smashing get labeled as things that they aren't.
PvP players rarely start this, mind you. The problem lies in the fact that sometimes people bite off more than they can chew, and they don't like that feeling.
Another thing to consider is this. The game is designed to block you from doing things that aren't allowed. So, common sense would tell you that everything that is constantly being complained about in this forum regarding PvP....is in the games design. Learn to defend against it. Lord knows that with all the newer, nuclear buffs out you should be able to.
With all this being said, I wasn't around this weekend. I have no idea what transpired, but this response fits almost every anti PvP thread ever made.
The reason I wasn't around? I was enjoying time with my family. I suggest that some of you do the same every once in a while. Erildath is make believe, after all.

Some people seem to be confused at the reason for wazzi's frustrated rants, so let me clear a few things up.
Player A; in this case is "Pvp player" from a "Pvp guild" ... randomly making unprovoked 100 stamina attacks against players from Guild B.
Guild B is not a "Pvp guild" but does have some players who enjoy pvp.. so, in the spirit of protecting their members, they dropped Payer A 5 levels. Great, right?!
Player A; instead of taking his well deserved spanking, not only retaliated against all the smashers, but outsourced his delevel parties to his allied "Pvp guilds"
I find it funny that the players who say they're not afraid to lose levels, are the first ones to call in the cavalry when they do.
Now, maybe it's just me, because I still pvp by the old standards, but I would think that if you did something to deserve a spanking.. you take that spanking respectfully and carry on. Retaliating against the owner of the cookie jar after YOU got caught with your hand in it, is completely unjustified, no? We understand that it is every guild's right to defend their members, but to what end? What about when that member you are defending caused the problem in the first place? And when did we Pvpers start smashing recklessly, not caring for the reason? Unfortunately some players know this, and will go and stir up some trouble.. get the spankings they deserve.. then play the victim to get help from friends
In short, the issue is not that Guild B lost levels.. but the reason why, and the actions of Player A. Guild B acted with decency and stepped up to defend it's members.. leading to a completely unjustified response from Player A. Refering to those unwritten rules that Pvpers play by.. Situations like this skew what's acceptable and what's not.
Also, statements like "teaching them a lesson" and "there are certain people you just don't hit" are ridiculous and egotistical, they lend to the reason people can use words like "gang" and "bullies" ... No one's perfect and no one's untouchable. Have some humility.

I would like to see a Twins (Titan), 2 Titans on the map, same HP, after killing it the guild will receive just 1 Epic.

it's come to my attention that about 95% of the bounties placed by so called pvp players get smashed down and about 10% of the other bounties get smashed on and if one of those other smashed bounties get the hammer an additional 3 bounties with hammers will appear however it would seem that the pvp crowd is bigger and the level loss could be more easily divided while the other party has no chance to continue
i think OP planned a bounty with 5 taken on someone where his smashing team all lost 5 without any planning and he just wants to create a numbered war where it takes time to plan attacks etc etc
hence his 300 vs 25 comment
you guys can also try to view it from his perspective not just your own.
pvp discussions always have 2 sides.
and if you want me to watch it from your side sure just ask but i think you guys have enough representitives for that ![]()

The titan hunting is not broken, there is some few tweaks to be very good, we shouldn't break it =P

@yotwehc. (Sorry on phone can't quote)
Just to help me understand the other side of it, where do you see an issue with the attitude in these posts? I truly do not understand the free prestige mentality. That is a sincere question not any attempt to start issues. But why do so many expect free hits?
BTW, relics are free game; take a bounty whenever you want, post whatever on the forums; double dip; ect.... The game allows it and therefore no one can tell you not to do it except HCS. But go into things with some common sense. For every action there is a reaction..and some guilds respond better then others. Hitting some players will result in immediate lose of levels. No questions, no take back, just smashing. Don't give us bounties and you don't get stomped as a result. Very simple...
I'm not arguing the prestige thing. You reap what you sow... I guess re-reading the post, it was directed towards hitters so I've calmed down.. thank you...
I just don't like the attitude in general where we tend to "punish" or "injure" folk who do take things personal because they are so passionate. What are you left with after you lose those folks? just the boring sheep and the marauding gangs that no one is willing to challenge.
Regarding your BTW, I'm in agreement but you know for a fact that some folks you just can't hit unless you are ready for a war so in a sense, they are untouchable.
IMHO, if you want to promote and make pvp flourish, why gang up on those that do attempt it? So far as I can tell both OP and Penny are reducing the amount of pvp they do because of the gang activity.

No, ALL scripts are banned except for the Helper. I don't know what this "approved" private script nonsense you're talking about is, but it is just that. Nonsense.
The ONLY script allowed in Sword is the FSHelper.
Now. This is a feedback thread for the Helper. No more derailing it with "Ban the Helper" posts.
I think they may be referring to that BRIEF moment when HCS was originally banning scripts and said FSH and any approved scripts would be allowed. Soon there after, it was determined that FSH was to be the ONLY approved script and it has been this way for quite a while now.
That said, I look forward to the day when FSH is no longer needed. However, until that day arives, I am thankful it is around and agree there is no proint in arguing wheter is should be allowed. Such decisions are for the sole disgresion of HCS.
Keep up the great work HCS and FSH teams ![]()

This has nothing to do with the above post.
I only just dumped my golden dragon set!
I was really hoping it would get upgrades over time after its release.
Not for me. For newbs.
I think new players having an awesome set that ONLY they can possess, and that increases with power ONLY with them (dependent upon their join date) would be pretty awesome. It would make them less envious of the players that have been here forever. Because lets be honest folks, us oldies hold all the aces right now.
Especially if it (the newbie only set) helps amplify some combat buffs. That would be interesting, would it not?
All us old players could be jealous of the newbs with the ultra set that kicks the pants out of our old combos.
The Golden Dragon set as a 3 piece is perfect. New players would want to build sets around it - creating a new market for odd sets that work with it.
I'm just spitballing here. Nothing serious.
