As a veteran FS player, I'd like to say that this is a truly addictive game, simply because of all the friends I have made here....

For me , it's nothing to do with profit, I didn't participate in this event.
It's to do with doing something..do it right, or don't do it at all.
HCS run a business, they should stick to the timescales THEY set out, they should do what THEY say they will, ie release certain critters, not miss some and add others.
If you can be bothered go back and check the 2x event, I stated in there they shouldn't extend it much as it's supposed to be a limited bonus event.
People always try to spin negative comments into, you're only moaning because you can't make as much fsp...some people just care about the way the game is handled and run by its owners, who IMO do not seem to give it as much care and attention as they should.
If sticking to timescales is your biggest complaint then you are complaining on the wrong thread. You will have a heart attack if you look at this thread about development roadmap. This event is peanuts compared to that whale. As penny says, HCS is a very engaged gaming company almost to a fault. One thing is almost guaranteed. There will be oopsies but I would say the extension of an event is the smaller of the oopsies. Not having the correct creatures is a bigger issue. Closing an event sooner then stated is also a big one that happened recently. Complaining about the lesser problems seem a waste.
and I find this interesting "do it right, or don't do it at all."
It would seem to suggest that HCS is intentionally doing this? Back in the barn, as they plan the release...
Evil HCS employee #1: But it's all jacked up, and some of the chompers are wrong!
Evil HCS employee #2: Muahahaha... release it anyway! and make it end on Tuesday to totally confuse them!
If this was the scenario, then I agree with "do it right, or don't do it at all." but somehow I just don't think this is how it played out.

vat isnt new its uk tax paid on almost everything value added tax
Unless things have changed, up until now players outside the UK haven't paid the VAT. As far as I know that tax would only apply to residents in the UK and possibly in the EU(however I doubt it).
The OP does raise an entirely relevant question! The manner with which the question was asked might have intended to use stronger than necessary language. As a consumer however, I would like to be informed if prices, or additional taxes have been added or changed. And this question is more about information than about a complaint, which is what the TOS attempts to regulate.

Find Item 1250 ~ 800? 1000? 1250 makes the 1000 in SA obsolete.
Stalker 300 ~ Maybe. If so, the existing Stalker potions would need to be buffed a wee bit.
-----------------
AL180 and CON180 potions should be updated to 250?
~ The Fallen Sword Team
I like the pots listed... glad to see the cloak 100 / 300 minute listed. FI 1250 is great also. I like the range of the pots and that PvP players have a good list of pots also. I hope the time limit on these buffs will not be short (other then Cloak) ... maybe offering them at 90 to 120 minutes and keep the BM 250 pot in loyalty area ...
If you want to keep the value of the arena cloak pot then offer the Loyalty one at 180 to 200 minutes
I am not sure that these pots would make other pots obsolete or Invalidate them as we only get so many loyalty points.
I also like the TH and Merchant pots.
Nice list and thanks for looking into this early this year!!

So once again I am going through a string of very expesive quests, 700K gold per level for a purchased item plus dropped items. Once again, I had a failed invent with an Extremely High Chance of Success plus INV 1&2. If that isn't bad enough, the purchased item was lost and had to be repurchased for another 700K gold. I can understand some dropped items being lost because they can be regained easily enough but a purchased item should never be lost on a failed invent. I know gold sinks are an important part of the game but you don't have to sink it all from me. I wish I could say this is an extremely rare occurence but unfortunately this has happened to me several times. This time was the last because I will no longer do quests unless the policy is changed to keep purchased items from being lost on failed invents. I am also posting this as a warning to other players, participate in quests at your own risk. As long as purchased items can be lost on failed invents, they will be lost, regardless of the supposed chances for success.

I actually tend to agree with yotekiller a bit here.
The game seems to treat every higher level player as a piggy bank to break open and rob.
I really don't understand why things cost so much up here, we don't earn ANY more gold per creature than a freakin level 300 does.
We have more stamina sure (generally speaking, not everyone does) which enables longer hunts = more gold in the end. We weren't BORN with this stamina though, we had to upgrade ourselves to get there, which wasn't cheap. How much are we really to be penalised for bothering to level up and upgrade our characters? O.o
To be clear though, if a player around 300'ish decided to get themselves a whole lot of max stamina, save it all up and do a hunt they'd make just as much gold as we would during a hunt, yet they're costs would be but a FRACTION of ours...
