I understand where you're coming from but I think it's unfair to not allow players to use their stamina on titans or normal hunting when global events take place. I mean, not everyone wants to take part in global events and it wouldn't be fair to force them into doing so :/ After all, it is a role playing game

What about rewarding as a ratio of the amount of stamina? So someone who got 1000 kills, but has a max of 500 stamina (x2) gets a bonus, but someone with 1000 kills and 1000 stamina? With the bonus scaling somehow. ie rewarding when kill:stamina ratio > x, where x > 1.

I thought for globals you had to at least be level 25 anyway? Which was to stop people from making multi's to participate. So kinda stops your point about making extra accounts for the global.

 

I've found clones at pretty high levels. Level 25 can be gained in what, half an hour tops? Not really hard Bud.

 

btw, I don't if we already have it, but since the Frag Stashs will be Bound (I agree with that, btw), there is a way to auto-open those Stashs during the Global Event?

Ah but if it's bound frag chests they're getting, then to abuse them, they would actually have to level their composing. If it's unbound Frag Chests (not gonna happen, sorry) or just basic common items, they would have to do so. 

 

I still think bound Frag Chests is the best bet.

After a bit of thinking and some interaction just now, I'm seeing a major negative on this change. 

 

It may well be because I'm a freak and actually try to help new players, lol.

 

Anyway, it's really difficult to keep an eye on new players with this change. They all look alike. 

 

It's really difficult to keep track... for example, just saw one Guest attempt to put up a URL in the Global Chat. 

 

Solution? Well, I'm not really sure exactly "how" this was supposed to "speed things up" and I'm not sure how long they have to pick a name, but I'd kind of rather see them pick a login name and then allow them to have the same option to change it in the same time frame. 

 

I get the idea of being stuck with a lame name and wishing you'd chosen something else.... I think that's a plus.

I really wonder why this update was made? Picking a character name never stopped me from playing a game. As Badpenny pointed out for most players out there it is an important step, adding to the fun.

 

I have done many recruiting sessions, and finding freshly joined players never was much of a problem. So don't look for problems there, your real problem/challenge is to make them keep them playing.

 

Focus there!

Critters giving drops, Epic Pots as rewards...+1 for that.

For me all the critters could be Common (normal) and Rare (Reveal only), that will save a lot of time for everybody.

 

Might look at that, yeah. Quite like the idea. We'll see after the next GE.

need to think through the numbers more carefully. I got about 6000 common fragments from the last event (where we didn't make ruby). Current creature have 7.5% chance to drop an average of 3 common frags. To get 6000 fragments would take 28000 separate kills (i.e., using GB200, that would be 140,000 kills for the event; to be equivalent to ruby stash reward, it would be more like 47000 separate kills irrespective of the GB used).

You'd have to massively increase to creature drops if this idea were to have much impact on replacing the current need/desire for fragment globals.

Don't use GB. It hurts your fingers but you get a whole boatload more frags.

You could just combine fragment and normal global events together. Have the critters drop fragment mini containers whilst the rewards remain as the epic chests currently received in normal global events. Increase the variety of the critters needed to be killed so there are ones ranging from "common" critters to "super elite" critters, rarity also being considered possibly with a reveal potions like the Halloween global event? :)

And about deleting unneeded recipes.  Most of mine were for quests.  I don't need to make those things anymore.  Can we have the option to at least hide those?  I mean I made a folder for them, but even at my low level, that folder alone is already 5 pages long.  Come on, it's kinda dumb we can't just delete those when we finish the corresponding quests.....

exactly at the moment i have 521 known recipes 270 of them at a minium are from quests that i will never need to remake

Much rather prefer inter-guild chatting interface...Not an alliance system just guilds that opt to talk to each other. This creates no advantages nothing just a way to talk Guild to Guild. I imagine people would spend alot more time on the game if so...Maybe make a gold sink for it?
