Please increase the server capacity and test early in the week, so any possible bugs are ironed out before you hit the Double Event button.

 

I recall you guys did something similar last XP Event at the same time you started it and it ruined the first 36 hours of the event so much you had to extend it.

All this confusion about the various buffs is the exact reason why the devs either need to play the game (as we do) or open a test (aplha) server where players can test any new additions to the game - without any restrictions or limitations.

If this is allowed for titan hunting, this can be helpful for those with busy schedules since they can't stay up for 2-3 hrs for a secure. By using this buff, they might be able to secure a titan in less than an hour. And this will be good for health too, without having to sit infront of a pc/laptop for hours looking at the screen. Instead of stam saving, this buff should look more like a time saver. If we can move 2-3+ squares for 1 stam, why not name the buff as "Flying Carpet" ? :P



 

This is why this buff is a disastrous idea.

Yes - lets make it easier for those people. The game should bow to them. Busy schedules - so important.

 

We should make it easier for folk who can only give an hour. maybe. Sometimes.

 

 

 

And it is good for their health! they don't have to sit in front of screens for too long to get their booty!

 

They want the secure fast, and at minimal risk to their health. They ignore everyone else who ever hunted titans before. Slowpokes who did not catch on to the revolution before it happened, no doubt.

 

This is an example of folk who want to arrive on a scene, dominate it, make profit, and leave.

 

Trust them at your peril.

Would it be possible for this buff to not have a cooldown after a titan has been secured by a guild? I think that something like this would entice people to go after the TKP since after most titans are secured it usually takes a long time before the titan is killed off. Maybe it's just me, but I think that people would most likely go after TKP if they didn't have to spend a couple of hours moving around.

Two questions ..

 

1. Will teleport just work on the map it's cast on, needing to be recast once you change maps ? (after all, 1 stamina to move from 1 side of the map to the other is pretty "cheap")

 

2. What will be the energy charge to cast this ?

 

Also, I agree that it shouldn't work on Titan maps until the titan has been secured. Leave this massive benefit for clearing up TKP, not securing..

Hi folks,

 

Heres an update for our plans for the game this month. With last weeks tweaks to the movement and map we've been looking at how we can further improve this and we plan to release a patch in the near future that will do just that. In addition to that we're also going to be adding new skills to each of the 3 trees (offense, defense and special), these skills will be added at levels 2000, 2500 and 3000. One of these skills will be the long awaited Teleport skill which will allow you to traverse realms with great speed.

Are the individual potions bound or unbound? I'm confused b/c the home page says they're bound while the sidebar says they're unbound.

 

Some brave soul open their chest and find out!!!

just opened it:

 

the Glorious Celestial Chest is NOT BOUND !!!!

 

But the Lunar Celestial Potion is BOUND !!!

I don't post much anymore because I don't really see the point, but here we go.  Over the last couple of days I've been getting an increased number of "504 Gateway Time-out" errors.  You can imagine my frustration when we are told that there will be "Server Maintenance".  Now when I hear that, I automatically think that something is going to get fixed, when in reality I've noticed an overall decrease in speed and an increase in lag.  There are no more than 500 players on FS at one time, so to me it makes no sense that the servers are stressed because of increased traffic.  If I'm not mistaken HCS, didn't you replace the servers or change server companies not too long ago?  And wasn't the reason to prevent lag and increase consistency?  It's getting tiresome and demoralizing which is unfortunate.

 

The next issue is content.  Now before I have everyone jump on me about mentioning this, just remember what HCS said.  We were told that content was going to be released every two weeks.  It's been two months since the last set of content, and I'm sorry HCS but that is not good enough.  It's not good enough because you can't tell us one thing and do another.  There is a massive difference between 14 days and 60 days.  We appriciate the Legendary events and global events, but I don't see a reason why we have to have one or the other when we should realistically have both.

 

I have so much more to say about lack of buffs, Arena, Titan hunting etc.  I'm not going to get into it because we have to focus one thing at a time.  I also know for a fact that I'm not the only one experiencing 504 gateway errors, so it would be in your best interest to let the FS community know what is going on.  I've spoken to about 10 others from different areas around the world and they are all experiencing the same thing so please don't give me the "ISP is at fault" line, I've heard it too many times.

At the very least we are all in agreement and not bickering (for the most part). I don't think anyone can deny that system stability and performance is the bare minimum. Fix this so we can start fighting amongst ourselves again.

 

Now where is HCS on this 7 point plan? 1? 2? When we all get banned, we will know it's 3.

I would not be surprised if some of the 'new' servers of the past were actually cheaper servers or service providers that the HCS bean counters thought would be just fine.

 

It is all about the cash after all.

 

I, like many others here have spend huge amounts of time, and in the past, not inconsiderable amounts of money on this game. I'll admit to regretting the amount I spent. Like others, after a time I simply made the decision not to spend any more money here as it did not feel worth it. This was my first internet game also, and I have tried others and been unenthused. It is/was a good product.

 

But I agree it has been neglected, or at least feels neglected.

 

Maybe the mobile interface will save it, as I hoped, but as has been pointed out - there is no point getting mobile customers to log into a game that is dysfunctional. They will just walk away again. Mobile customers will not have much attention span for a game that does not work well on demand, every time. (I believe) The game platform needs to be stable, and the game needs to be consistently supported by the developers for new customers attracted by any new mobile interface to be encouraged to remain. And  spend cash.

 

I hate to say it HCS but I actively discourage new players coming into my guild from spending money on this game. Knowing from experience how much can be required, and how patience and graft can get you to similar places in the long run. You have managed to turn existing customers against you, and have, in my case at least, caused them to encourage other players not to help your bottom line. One for the bean counters to consider there.

 

 

 

The game may go into the sunset. Many have before. That will be a pity, but I guess I'll get a lot of free time back!!

 

And this morning, a cloudflare 504, a database failure to connect and something else that froze me out.  Right on cue. Sigh.

 

But despite all that - I still log in, and can still enjoy this game. It has provided me with years of interest. It is not all negative, but the current outlook is not so good. Thanks.

I'm Not ALWAYS online and I'm in the 50's. I could be in the high 50's if I did 30 xp pots but I'm too cheap. I assure you I use no scripts aside from helper. I imagine it would be easy to detect cheaters especially if potions are done on the hour every hour without fail. Although I can do 15-20 potions per day, my patterns are relatively random since I lose a few minutes here and there. I start shaking If more then an hour passes and I haven't collected my potions yet. Unhealthy addiction to the game indeed.

Hello everyone,

here is another arena thread, yea... i know, but I just want to know out of curiosity ( whether this may ever happen again or not ) how many of you actually liked/like the old arena system and whether or not you want it to be brought back to the game.

And here was an answer of mine to another arena thread which was created some time ago and this was my take on how to possibly solve some arena inactivity, slowness, problems with bringing back the old arena system and keeping the current arena tokken system, tell me what you think and your suggestions :)

 

'' I think a way to increase more activity would be to get back the gold arenas. I feel like the entry fees are too high especially since you get nothing back. If you win about 1 out of 10 arena, you have probably paid 400k gold and depending on the situation you may have only gained +-32 tokkens which you cant do anything with. I personally would definitely join more arena ( now the number of possible arenas for me to join again is another question ) if I didnt have to pay 400k everytime, only to make a very small gain which will never cover the entry fees. People obviously do stuff to make profits, which is true in everything we do, even in life. If i cant make a profit out of what I have invested, why would I even do it?

 

Obviously adding new items makes it even a better place. What about, making it like the seasonal Titan items, get some prizes in there which you can only get during a specific period of time and switch up every few weeks or months.

But ofc the thing is as many have mentioned already, if new items were to be introduced, the top arena players that have 100k's of tokkens, they could just be purchasing anything they want, even if there were some great items that would cost 5k or 10k tokkens.

I was thinkin about mixing the tokken system with the old system, where gold and prize arenas would appear at random, keep the old prices which can be bought with tokkens where they are and introduce the new items the old fashion where they would be the prize to get when you win the arena. That way everyone can start again with equal chance.

And maybe after year or more, also put those items ( with the exception of the seasonal items ) to the list of items that can be bought with tokkens and bring out new prizes again.

 

Plus to give new players a chance to try out the arena without getting beaten up so badly by the pros, maybe also generate some arenas which only players that have less than 100 wins can join, and more below level 100 arenas with very low entry fees, like 100g - 5k gold, so the newly joined players can play the arena too. ''
