Defeat 175 champion creatures : Gain +275 current stamina.

 

So, yeah. I know this is all new and stuff, and of course it shouldn't be über rewards - but; I have to spend 175 stam if I pick a low level champ, where I do not have to buff at all. I'd also have to walk around to find it - also using stam, so I assume my "reward" (apart from medal tick) is gonna be worth no while.

 

And I'd have to repair my gear when done - unless of course I can find a champ I can beat nekkid :ph34r: Either way, I fail to see the fun in killing a creature several thousand levels below my own level.

 

I could use a cons. pot to increase my "reward" - and a AM pot as well. But somehow I figure both pots are worth more, than the "reward" of 275 current stam.

 

I'd suggest that either increase the current stam reward, or toss out all "+ current stam rewards", and make 'em all into +reserve stam. Having the option to build a reserve stam bank is ALWAYS worth the time in my book.

But guess what, there are medals involved... and that helps Pride. I bet a lot of people do them at the start to get them nice shinies. *chuckles*

Key price, for the junk the majority of chests contain, are insanely over-priced. OK, the frag-stashes are good and can earn some dots when sold, and maybe ONE OR TWO potions, but pretty much everything else in chests is GARBAGE.

 

Lower the prices of the keys - or, better still - add stuff to the chests that's actually of USE ...

 

I just hope that BG remembers that he liked my suggestion recently about using chest items in inventing - that would very much limit supply of specific items and help maintain some sort of value for 'em

Note this is just a question based on what I've been reading. Is the main issue here that you feel the high level composed potions have an adverse affect on PvP? And a solution to this would be to restrict (or cap) some of the potions levels when using in PvP?

before I start, I am a 60 composer, was one of the first 10 to reach that level, until level 58 I bought my frags from farmers at 80-100 frags / 1 fsp, did global events every time with global booster 863, spent over 15k fsps to level composing, buy frags from farmers and 100s of frag stashes, I had 3 composing bugs that destroyed and took 1000s of my frags and I lost all my SE frags because of this bugs and HCS had to fix the bugs 3 times for me but never returned any lost frags back to me :( (biggrim can prove this, we talked many times about it)

 

last year after I got level 60 composer I started to pvp

 

pvp ladder band

there was a player who was always buffed with composing pots the whole time for 2 months, he always got first place after reset, I joined the ladder band and used my composing potions, for 1 month I got first place every time, the other composed player did not know how to pvp, only to keep himself with composing potions 24 / 7, I always got first place, he alwas got second place and the others in our band never hit us, they gave up because they had no chance against our overpowered composing skills, they only had 175 buffs lol

pvp activity only increased for me (and the players who used composing too)

for the others pvp activity decreased, they knew they did not stand a chance against our stats

 

pvp

2-3 weeks I hit for gold and prestige, won 100% of my battles with composing pots, less that 5% hit back but everyone lost against my composing pots

pvp activity only increased for me (using composing pots)

for the others pvp activity decreased

 

pvp bounty board

3 weeks there were bounties on me, more than 60 bounties expired, players stopped placing bounties on me because they would expire too, many bounty hunters took my bounties but nobody was able to clear one bounty, all expired, only 1 player started using epic global skills against me, after 20 straight losses he used composing potions too and after 2 hours he gave up, he won 4 times (everytime with 2 or more luck skills activate together), I deleveled many players defending on the BB, I never posted anyone, they lost enough against my composing skills

pvp activity only increased for me (using composing pots)

for the others pvp activity decreased

 

gvg

for 1 month I won all gvg attacks, I hit offline, online, unbuffed, fully buffed, in epics, in pvp setup, did not matter, I hit everyone in my range, I could not lose with composing pots against them and never lost, nobody attacked me for 1 month while I stayed in composing, after I stopped using composing pots gvgers started attacking me again

gvg activity only increased for me (using composing pots)

 

that was the last time I did any pvp, I retired from pvp, a pvp / gvg system where composing players have a win button against players who use 175 buffs, for gvg a composing player can easy win against a pvp setup players with full buffs, reason why many guilds stopped buffing members in gvg, this year and last year I was always attacked by a player with composing pots (ke, sh, coordinated attack, flinch,...........), a pvp / gvg system where there is no challenge

yes, they do, but not only on pvp, gvg and bounty board too

 

And a solution to this would be to restrict (or cap) some of the potions levels when using in PvP?

in my opinion it is best to cap the potions at 200, players can have a better and fairer chance when they use buffs at 175 to 192 against them

 

seeing things live would be best for you hoof

look at gvg attacker when they attack, most of them use composing pots because it is safer, defender has no to little chance against them

look at the BB, gvg, pvp pladder when players use composing pots how easy they beat the other targets

Too much of a slippery slope, even if it were changed the people who then miss out at 201 would start complaining, then 301 etc etc.

 

You want to get top 100? You want the rewards? UPGRADE YOUR CHARACTER!

I've created this thread to gives everyone a place to put down their ideas.  When the Loyalty Rewards section was introduced, it was intended to give those players who have donated an added bonus for their dedication to the game.  Almost every game has a section for donating players.  It's a great way for people to feel appreciated for continued support of the games they love.

 

What I'm proposing is the addition of more options to the Loyalty section.  I honestly feel that if people had access to more "loyalty" items, donations would probably increase more which is always a good thing.  Here are a few options of what I think should be added and I encourage everyone to put down their ideas.

 

Overkill 500 - 800 Allegiance Tokens No already trumps a new pot

Overkill 1000 - 1600 Allegiance Tokens NO This is not the area for the most powerful pots in the game, just nice bonuses

Doubler 1750 - 300 Allegiance Tokens No

Doubler 2000 - 600 Allegiance Tokens Yes

Animal Magnetism 450 - 800 Allegiance Tokens No (easy way to get 100% and bypass a lot of other pots)

Distil 200 - 1600 Allegiance Tokens NO

Extend 300 - 1000 Allegiance Tokens Yes

Light Foot 1500 - 1000 Allegiance Tokens NO

Nightmare Visage 350 - 700 Allegiance Tokens Why

Nightmare Visage 500 - 1100 Allegiance Tokens 125%?

 

That is just a few options, and I'm sure people might have issues but that is what forums are for. Please be considerate with your opinions, and let's keep this on track.

 

 

I disagree.  I think this is exactly where the most powerful potions should be.  Donations keep this game going and shouldn't that be rewarded?  Also, people have been amassing PvP tokens for ages now, so they already have the advantage of the nice AM potion.  The ladder is a joke now as many just sit there, don't hit, and take turns getting 1st place.  Sure, NMV was calculated wrong, lol.  I'm assuming the "NO" compared to the "No" means you are absolutely against it?

Why not both?

 

Perhaps have a daily non-competitive activity with a relatively minimal award - like someone else suggested, some loyalty points (of course, need to add more goodies in loyalty - the more OP, the better ;-p )

 

Perhaps a weekly (or monthly) leaderboard for various challenges? Some requiring stam, some requiring skill, some requiring dumb luck, some requiring guild, etc.

 

Unlike previous iterations where HCS's rewards are initially huge, maybe start off with no reward/tiny reward... just bragging rights as a kind of beta to see how the activity goes.

 

 

anyway, let's keep this positive folks and think about the game as a whole. not just yourselves ;-p

I think rather than added "Bound FSP", it would make more sense to just have character upgrades as the rewards for some of the daily events.

If free FSPs are going to be put in the game I would like to see them as bound and can only be used on character upgrades. So that it has a minimal  affect on the auction house,  gold, and buff market.

during this XP EVENT you released on the 20th Dec the Forest of Yule which had an ELITE where AM worked on it !!!

back then there was an "uproar" because those who had already spent their "resources" & were mainly aiming for GXP missed this ELITE !!!

 

  • XP EVENT (30 June 2016 - 3 July 2016)

during this XP EVENT you released LATER 50 more EOC content (NEW EOC was then 3100) & those who already spent their "resources" were stuck at lvl 3050 !!!

 

honestly I do not think it is fair at all since players have different "goals" for getting to EOC, be it just to get to EOC, being able to be high enough to wear all the gear, for the top100 medal, for the #1 medal, to farm the high lvl LE during the LE event, farm the highest mob for GXP, ........

 

in my case this "50 level addition" affected me "INdirectly" since I was working & only had enough time to hunt on saturday BUT due to EOC "shifting" 50 levels I am now with less targets (already measly +/- 10) at the current EOC (3100) because some "potential" EOCers got stuck at lvl 3050  :mellow:

 

for "future" XP EVENTS PLEASE do NOT add any additions DURING the event !!!

add them BEFORE or AFTER the XP EVENT to ensure EVERYONE has the same opportunity regardless when he/she decides to hunt !!!

 

 

I think you guys "broke tradition" this event, usually XP EVENT & LAG go "hand in hand" :P BUT this time I am very happy to NOT have experienced any lag at all (1st time ever), think hoofmasters last tweak to the servers played a big role so thank you again :)

it would indeed, but I doubt anyone thinks that such brutal honesty will be forthcoming ;)

Better yet, it would be like getting an answer to why 50 levels were subsequently added, screwing many players near EOC. How could annoying customers who have undoubtedly been around the game a while, probably had previously donated and are at EOC be a good plan by the devs? That kind of brutal honesty explaining what went down may not endear every player but it would earn some respect at the very least. At this stage maybe it's been missed altogether, who knows.
