Composing is fine at 60 for the time being. There are other facets of the game that need a looking at first, sorry.

Sounds kind of like how they've been doing event chests in Eldevin, and most people hate it. But who knows, maybe some Fallen Swordians might like it.
The reason it's not popular in Eldevin is because the chests aren't too hard to get, but the keys take many many hours of grinding event creatures to get one, or you buy one with Eldevin Points, so it's pretty much a pay event unless you have hours to dedicate to it. If the FS team could come up with a way to improve on this (find a way to not just be an event for those who pay), then maybe.
An easy way - well, a FAIR way - would just be to throw "x" amount of keys in a container (i.e. one key in one container) and you find them in the realms, on randomised maps (not unlike the existing chests). That way everyone has the same chance to look for one or not.
The corresponding chest could be bought in the AH for 1g (with randomised contents so as not to give all the surprises away) and the keys bound to prevent them being sold on.
BUT, the containers with the keys REMAIN active until found, regardless of how long that takes, and the chests in the AH remain for the same duration.
That sounds fair to me ?

Thank you very much for the awesome new LEs!! I have one small request, or generic feedback however; I always love new stuff, but if you look at all the new sets that were just put out by these 4 new LEs, their drops only take up 4 out of 9 possible slots... All four either drop a helm, ring, armor, or gloves.
Why are we not seeing some more "interesting" combinations of sets? I'm tired of seeing the same ring/armor and the severely overdone Helm/Gloves combinations. Let's branch out and do something unexpected... Shield/Ring, Amulet/Boots, Rune/Gloves, Rune/Weapon combos... I think this would really give a lot more variety for setups instead of just replacing sets with slightly more powerful sets in the same item slots.
Just my two cents... but I do appreciate you guys putting out new creatures, even if they didnt drop anything! =)

I think if you swap out 'could' for 'should' then you have a winner here.
Guilds should maintain a presence on relics in order to keep control of them, with relics returning to an unowned state if undefended for a period of time.
That way relinquishing relics would be as simple as just abandoning them, while also making guilds expend a little manpower to control a relic.
Such out-of-the-box thinking that I just had to immediately like. I didn't even bother to think about the consequences.
It would screw a lot of Guilds over, but also make them think and organize. It would provide a solution that seems logical to me.
Nice one Doom. (o0

This really could do with a proper countdown timer running on the composing page.
The time left indication is too vague.

As per feedback last time, as well as posting news, on Facebook and Twitter, I'm also sending out a log message to let people know this is active.
I missed the first 6 hours because I was asleep. I demand that in the future, you also send me messages via dreams to let me know this has begun. Otherwise, it's just not fair! ![]()
[Considering the mood on the forum sometimes, I thought I would clarify that this is just a JOKE.]
Thanks for the double xp. ![]()

Although in a small guild (meant to be solo, but I cannot say no to friends wanting to retire next to me) I like the concept of trying to add more incentives to play the game. I am especially a fan of the idea with a resetting top 10 list for each aspect. The current top guild lists are.. well.. some are sitting on top due to someone elses work, and some are sitting on top due to exploits, others due to broken systems...so... good thinking with the reset ![]()
I do think the bit about guilds growing in size, and hence members risking loosing their medal etc is complicating the matter. I get the thoughts about ppl trying to abuse it, but on the other hand, if I earn a medal under a given ruleset - why should I lose that medal again, just because someone else gets a different ruleset? And also, most likely too complicated for the moo moos to code ;-)
For this idea to happen, and have an impact on the game though, it requires for the cows to pick up the idea now, and work with it - without trying to listen to everyone. There are always someone so outspoken and loud, that they manage to get any and every idea perverted into something it was not meant to be. This is an idea in the rough, and the cows should do the rest - not the community. If the cows need to reflect thoughts on the concept, they can bounce 'em of OP.

I am not sure if this has been suggested or not. I love all the news from titan release to a global event. I was wondering if HCS can put a filter off to the side on home page to sort the news some. ![]()
For example New titan release or death, global event, temple, medals, and so on. ![]()
It is only used on what you click on and it default back to full page when you leave the page.
It is not a game priority but I thought for me that like the global events and titan hunting it is hard to see sometimes if titan been killed or not. and yeah exact location is not always easy to find though scout tower does show a lot.
I like to go to home page to see what is new and what odds and ends is happening in fs. ![]()
I was thinking a bit more about this topic and wonder how many new players might find their way to forum out of curiosity while using the filter to see what is going here in forum.

Before these pots, the problem was with how powerful the gear being released was.
The problem we have isn't "how far to nerf", but "how to balance"... and the answer is NOT with a single nerf... but with a number of changes. IMO

My only question to everybody out there: does anybody really believe that making things harder for levelers will solve anything?
The better question is will reducing the stat changing skill levels(ie KE, SH, CA, CD, and DC etc.) in Composing, Ladder and Global pots solve the ridiculousness of what the game has become? I believe it will! I think skills like Conserve, AL, AM, FI, 4L, LF etc. are all types of skills that can be set as high as anyone wants. At least they don't break the game. I also believe leaving the Godlike potions for donators is the exception that must remain. Let's not add to the stupidity and suggest hindering Cow revenue.

Why not just automatically "guild" them together in a new player super guild? You can stay in it up to level 50. There would be ways to get free buffs on a cooldown, and a couple of "bound" sets exclusive to that guild through quests(Golden Dragon, Frost Dragon, Fire Dragon, Cerberus) that would take them through 50. Once they hit 50, they would be released to the wild(and keep the now "bound" Cerberus set).
This would lack what is, in my opinion, the most important thing for a new player: experienced players to give them advice, answer questions, etc. Giving them loads of "stuff" doesn't have as much value as getting their questions answered and receiving guidance.

As a very recent convert to Titan Hunting (securing a Nutcracker on my 2nd attempt infected me with the bug), I was wondering if the scout tower could be tweaked (At LEVEL ONE) to indicate which guilds were currently on cooldown.
Now I know this isn't exactly important, but it may encourage more folk to try this activity, if they know that the speediest guilds can't compete against them and that they then actually have a chance of making progress.
On the flip side, I realise that perhaps not hunting against the elite means you won't improve your skills as fast as otherwise, but with all the allegations of scripting, there are certain guild(s) that I would prefer not to waste buffs and potions on, knowing that I've got a snowballs chance in hell of getting anywhere.

25 - 249 -> 50 players
250 - 499 -> 8 players
500 - 749 -> 3 players
750 - 999 -> 2 players
1000 - 1499 -> 3 players
1500 - 1999 -> 6 players
2000 - 2499 -> 6 players
2500 - 2999 -> 6 players
Really, if these are the player amounts that actually play the ladder, then it seems to me there is not much merit to keep developping it. Especially if we keep in mind that prolly most of the 25 - 249 are "forced" to play.
So unless I am misinterpreting these numbers, I see little justification to even keep it running. A handful of players per band, making more smaller bands really is not gonna fix the deeper problems with the ladder.
But if anything, Rebornjedi is right when it comes to the new players. 25 - 249 is bottomfeeding for anybody above level 50 in that band.
At least when reaching level 25, there should be a tutorial like thing, explaining that you are now open for PvP ladder attacks, and that you can loose xp/gold due to that, and how you can opt-out from the ladder.
