The VL's usefullness has run it's course. Time to lose it. Combined with teleporting players to the Mountain Path Coliseum when 0d on the BB will simplify and fix the exploit. No one deserves any 'right' to a level they had attained at some point. That player has lost that level through whatever means. If they've been 'punished' on the BB and 0d this is a way to punish the offender more, something players have been after for a long time

Why not have it like eldevin, where you do significantly less damage to creatures that are at a higher level than you. A check between the player virtual level and the level of the creature, if its lower then either the player stats are lowered by some percentage or the creature stats get increased. Say @5 levels below, player stats are halved, @ 10 level quartered etc.

I think the request, though I maybe wrong, is, to spend money from the bank, rather than on-hand. 

 

If so, this would be a fabulous idea for everything you spend gold on.  Withdrawing money to spend it two seconds later is really an unnecessary task.  Spending gold directly from the bank (for anything you spend gold on) has essentially no negative gameplay consequences (apart from your gold is immune to gold thieves for an additional 2-3 seconds); and would be a fabulous convenience.

I think that there should be a time limit, but the 50% should be left in there. Just make it so that if the titan is defeated w/in 24 hours then whichever guild have 50%+1 kills should get the automatic drop. If it is after 24 hours, then regardless of kill total, TKP should be awarded to all guild according to the current %. Also maybe put a week limit where all TKP earned are halved if the Titan is not killed.

Maybe a parcel of reserve stam to players with lower max stams who have high progress on loyalty medal as a christmas gift from HCS instead? I;m fully aware from last xmas how an xp event can be ridiculous... though the less xp events we have the harder it is for newer players to reach EOC as more content gets added.... Maybe occasional 25% bonus xp weekends staggered opposite of global quests and the like as a more common occurance to reward yearround activity? :/ Just my thoughts on it.

Is that the goal? Get everyone to eoc ASAP? We got the global pots which are essentially huge bonus xp pots. I think if anything, we got way more then you are asking. It's a bit unfair to the eoc'rs who slogged to the top the old fashioned way while we are asking for an easier path. Enjoy what we have. We really got a LOT.

So, for a lvl 150 fellow who will not buy any Scarab Epic now, but he gots a Javelin, he solded that Epic for 60-80FSPs, that's not profit for him too?
Same thing with the Hammer, and for those low lvls who farmed Linens (my case), or WW Resources.

Ok, agreed that merchants/inventors have more profit on that party, but everyone who wants to spend a little amount of stamina  can have a bite of that cake.

And everyone can have a cheap epic now, and I don't understand why that's bad at all. 
Now everyone will recharge stamina faster, spend more time on the game, etc.

I don't like the idea of paying 600+ FSPs to have +2 stamina gain only, now Epics are useless for everything else. So let the price of some epics drop, and we can have a fair price for everyone.

In this latest update we have added / improved the following:
 
  • Added a Preference which randomizes the default potion design/color when composing.
  • Added templates for Composing potions so you can quickly create them again.
  • Added the ability to create an additional potion simultaneously for each 10 levels of your Composing (max 5 potions)
  • Added a new 'Artisan' medal for the number of potions created when Composing (note this is not retroactive)
  • Added a log notification when potions are complete with a quick link to collect them.
  • Fixed an issue with the Fragmenter medal graphics.
  • Changed the menu text for accessing the global chat from 'Chat' to 'Global Chat'.

Hi there Everyone.
 
We've come up with this Content Roadmap to try and keep the Community in the loop. We shall update this as and when we need to, to show if something is done or has needed to be moved around a bit.

Hey Guys.

Okay, looking at what we have planned, I've shuffled what we'll be doing around a bit and have a few new ideas to share.

Springtime Forest : Estimated release = Week of the 13th of April.

A new Global event added to this. Easter Baskets to be collected and evil Shadow Bunnies stealing them. Grab the eggs and duff up the Shadow Bunnies to save the chocolatey potion goodness at the end of the event. We may add one or two new LEs to the Forest event itself but we'll see. No promises.



Content. 2501 - 2525 : Estimated release = Week of the 19th of June.


Content. 2526 - 2550 : Estimated release = Week of the 3rd of July. 


Content. 2551 - 2575 : Estimated release = Week of the 17th of July.


And I'll be looking to plug Storybook in here somewhere. Quite a lot of work still to be done to this. At present, 7 new Quests though I may have to add an 8th to keep us closer to EoC.


As well as this, the usual LEs in the Scavenging Caves, Classics in the Realms and somewhere after the new Skill releases, we intend on looking at a brand new Legendary Event with full new gear.


Finally, these dates could and likely will shift around a little as we work on other secret squirrel parts of Sword.

Storybook Forest.
 
We've been working on Storybook. I'd like to see this out again soon. As it stands, I have 7 new "The Story of ..." quests lined up, taking us to about EoC.
 
Christmas

 
Two new Christmas Quests, again taking us to EoC.
 
The return of the Dragon LE events with three new Dragons and an Egg potion on each Dragon instead of just one. Expect the potions to be unusual buffs, trying to keep them to the theme of the Dragon where possible.
 
Between 2 and 4 brand new Seasonal Titans for Christmas.  Thread for ideas can be found HERE!
 
Chests.
 
We are working on about a dozen new Potions which we are looking to add to the existing chest that spawn in the world. We are also looking to add the proposed Frag Stash items to this as well as possibly adding new item sets. Once again, no cast iron time frame but once this is on it's way, I'll update this thread. Released.

We'd like to run more Global Events. These would possibly have lower goals for less powerful potions (instead of increasingly UBER potions) or the proposed Frag Stash Items. No cast iron time frame but once this is on it's way, I'll update this thread.
 
The Springtime Forest.
 
The Event shall be returning. We will look into it and see what additions we may add to it. No immediate time frame, but soon as we ain't seen it in ages.

We could change all the top rated lists to exclude inactive accounts :)

I disagree with this change......... those inactives worked hard to get that top rated status and deserve to keep their place on that list....  If they are inactive you have plenty of opportunity to pass them ...... go work for your right on that list !!

Sure but these are players with small backpacks mostly. So it would be a hassle to go and break down every 5 or 10 items or so. I have no idea if its possible, but would have been great for those players who are questing when they hunt if quest/resource drops wasnt destroyed when auto fragment is on.

 

I suggested earlier in the thread that auto-compose be disassociated from auto-drop and that a check box be introduced

Can we please fix the marketplace, so the side you sell fsp on is matched to the side you sell gold on.

No one in there right mind or new to the game sells fsp at 100k, them days are long long gone.

There is many here who need gold and with the increase in gold sinks, it would be nice to list our fsp at a reasonable price at least in keeping with what gold sells at.

Another thought that can be voted on seperatly , lol, that could solve a part of the lack of content production is to make levels take more XP. A long time ago when HCS changed the XP forumla I think it made a lot of players happy that they could race to EOC. These days there is a massive bottle neck and with insane AL LIB CONS etc potions it makes it easy to get to EOC. With all these pots each level can only cost a couple hours worth of stamina. So how about adding some (dosent have to be all) levels much longer from an XP perspective. Maybe levels 1800-1830 take 5 times per level than levels 1830-1900. Something to this effect.

(or if this screws up the code just make a level 1800 monster, and the next zone /monster level 1805..forcing people to sublevel to advance)
