That goes against almost everything you've ever said to me in the forum and on chat, and I think I've ever seen you write anywhere.
Perhaps you've had a change of heart of late, who am I to say. I certainly don't want to derail Pard's thread any more than I already have so I'll leave it as that.

Come on...
That being said... If this were true then surely you'd welcome this change. As you said, it'd lead to easier secures for your guild?

On the other hand, it would likely encourage more competition on the titans you can't hunt. Because people won't be put off by your guilds utter domination.
So yeah, probably be really good for your guild ((albeit likely make it more boring) but people would also more likely be willing to pot up and hunt more titans if they know the ubers aren't going to storm it.

Gimping oneself is not an effective way to add challenge to a game Grim.
You should know this. ![]()
PS: Structures hardly help at all, you should do a bit more research. lol
Also, try not to confuse need with want and level with 1-hit...

Composing should never have been raised above the 50 mark. It was only done so because of the people that rushed to 50 and then complained.
It certainly shouldn't be raised to 70 simply because those very same people are complaining YET AGAIN.
Composing has been very bad for the game balance-wise and is almost nothing like the concept that was envisioned in the beginning. The cries of people wanting bigger and better need to be ignored, for the good of the game.

I remember years ago when Azuk became disheartened with the higher doublers (I think it was the greater doubler at the time) and the EW1500. Some of the games buffs are far too powerful to be honest. When you think of how much extra stats they can give. KE is a low'ish level buff but the stats you can create from it. (Because HCS bent knee to everyone when they kept asking for only 2-piece sets) Then along came CoA/CoD... These single handedly killed hunting setup variety. Do you remember when random amazing common/rare items were actually useful?
Adding potion forms to the already super-powerful buffs just fanned the flames to be honest. However, we really have to point the finger of blame at ourselves. HCS have just given us what we wanted, over and over again...
It's actually refreshing to see when they don't capitulate to our requests.

Why would you post a bounty without organising hitters first..you deserve to lose your fsp.
Since the bounty hunters are not themselves exempt from being bountied. This just means as well as me suffering the initial attack, more of my friends get put on the BB and smacked.
Since pvp'ers tend to have more 'pvp friends' that actually enjoy this type of thing. Once again this entire scenario ends up in favour of 'the pvper'.
This game has become so one-sided when it comes to pvp, with the alliances and collaborations between pvp'ers and pvp guilds they can pretty much dominate anything remotely pvp-related. Since they also have become an extremely vocal minority within the forums now, they also conspire to derail, defame and basically destroy any ideas put forward that jeopardises this stranglehold. It is quite plain to see the effect this has had on the game, yet for some bizarre reason Hoofmaster consistently seems to listen to their self interested nonsense.
It is what it is though I suppose. This game is still a fun 20 minutes or so every now and then.

Titans are and always will be a guild based activity.
Adding personal cooldown would fundamentally undermine this.

Cheers! That idea is to have them reasonably frequently, yeah. I'm defo thinking once a month minimum but we'll see.
Frequent sounds good Grim. Don't fall into a routine though. Keep them random, frequent is good, every fifth of the month is just lame. (for example)

It is actually the largely upgraded players that will lose out with regards to composing events. Since his point (victor1gr) was actually that players with large stam banks don't have to log in every day, sometimes merely once a week. While obviously players with smaller stamina banks have to log in much more frequently.
These people are the ones likely to miss out on random events. (And so they should, if they know these events are random and can happen any time, and they still don't at least log on once a day 'just' to check? They have noone to blame but themselves)
Giving advanced warning for an aspect that is specifically designed to increase daily activity is nonsense and obviously counter-productive to the nth degree.
