You do realize that there are 500 players online at the moment you looked, not all day, right?

 

And we have reached over 22 million before with the game activity that we have now! Trying to convince the Cows to lower the objective is not the way to reach Ruby, convincing the community to put forward all they have to give toward the objective is how we will be able to achieve the 17.5 million. 

 

Global boosters: Would it be nice to have a higher level booster to get the hunt done quicker? Sure, but it isn't needed. And it certainly would not incline me to spend more stamina during the event.

 

You don't actually 'have' all that much stamina, even with a full tank.

 

This change would maybe stop the feeling of dread us players with stamina banks at or around the 100k mark and beyond feel.

I can think of a few people (high stammers) that would be more inclined to burn a bit more stamina, if it weren't so excruciatingly boring/tedious to do it.

Note also any player in the top 100 will receive an extra chest based on the tier the community achieves.

 

Should probably add this info into the homepage announcement hoof. Otherwise you'll get a ton of moaning afterwards.

What do you mean? Legit question. Not sure I understand. You feel they are devaluated because there are more medals or is there something else I’m missing here?

 

No, my OTHER medal has been devalued.

The one you get for opening chests. The one that only myself and juvi have (as of right now) above silver...

 

I've been expecting it for a while, eventually everything that you work hard for will be made easier for everyone else. Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt like a kick to the gentleman area when it happens though.

I think those kind items should go to another imaginary space, not the BP, a place where you can't drop, and don't use BP space.

Something like the Inventing space for Recipes...But only for useless items obtained via quests. All 'gear items' should go to the BP, as usual...

 

Probably the easiest solution I've seen. Nice one.

That is a Fallen Sword Helper feature and therefore we are unable to help with it sorry. If you have the Sustain enhancement listed on your profile however it will apply correctly - I think this is just a display issue with Fallen Sword Helper.

Doom I've had no experience with Inv2.  But maybe one of the other ideas mentioned by others might be an option...like cathedral store, or warning that it's used in another quest...so that we know and don't drop it.  Think about how many tickets HCS must get on a regular basis looking for past one of a kind reward items never knowing they needed it in the future and it's not stated on the fsg or wiki on the quest part that said item gained is used in other quest.....and sometimes it's many quests later.  So I doubt many look that far ahead. 

 

LOL I agree with you MLafou, so much so that the cathedral store idea was mine... lol

 

I was just trying to point out a possible flaw in having items that cannot be dropped is all.

Perhaps a new stall in the cathedral of ways. A sort of fortune teller.

She sells all of the quest items in the game, (ones given by NPC's) however she won't sell them to you if you haven't started the quest/reached the point in the quest where you need them OR have already finished the quest.

 

Have her run some simple checks on you after you click on her.

So I was just messing about with my folders when I was once again stopped dead in my tracks by the cost of the next one.

 

Now my idea is related to this, but not directly.

 

How about if we could have a 'lay-away' kind of upgrade.

Similar to the banking system, but with no deposit requirements.

HOWEVER, also no ability to withdraw any gold once it is put into there.

(To avoid abuse)

 

This gold could then be stored up ad-infinitum and used to pay for the current gold upgrades, future gold upgrades, new folders. (How and why I came up with the idea)

 

There could even be a similar option as is included in the FS shards page, where you can convert your 'lay-away' gold into bound FSP to use on the FSP side of the upgrades page.

Now obviously this option would have to have a heavily skewed gold/FSP ratio. Much higher than the FSP market for instance, but there as a possibility.

 

Possibly a 250-300k/FSP ratio?

 

 

I think this could be a really good way to curb the influx of gold into the game, while at the same time giving those that don't make a lot of gold per hunt a chance to store it up for use when they have enough.

 

It's a win-win situation all round. (IMO)

Rather than listing "buff packs", how about ..

 

Player A (Selling) - lists all his buffs, their casting level and their price with a checkbox next to each

 

Player B (Buying) - checks the boxes they want, the system adds up the total price (thus allowing players to charge differing amounts for different buffs) 

 

The system then calculates the total cost (after confirming that Player A has those buffs at those levels and that Player B has the wherewithal to pay) and then, to prevent the "that's automation" cries, sends a confirmation message to both players asking if they agree to the trade.

 

That sounds a much simpler implementation to me ?

 

Sounds almost exactly like how people have been buying my buffs for years.

The FSH bio render function does everything you just said, except run the final confirmation message and check a players FSP/gold balance.

That is handled instead by a person actually messaging a person, which I think is better...

 

Perhaps I'm just old fashioned though.

If I might make a suggestion?

 

Would it be possible to add the sellers last activity times next to their names on their listings?

This should alleviate some of the stress brought on by people buying buffs from sellers that aren't actually around.

The item breakdown screen lists items by folders...
