My only problem with that is people accepting 10 bounties on the same person to just get bountied back (for de-level porpouses), and don't doing any hit, that's the only problem I can see.

The other problem (free medals) will be solved when we get the gxp/delevel thing solved.

 

I thought the same at first but Maeh's idea is actually quite clever. If people have to finish a bounty before they can accept another on the same person, then they can't do that.

 

They can still trade no hit bounties, though, just one at a time.

I don't suppose there's any way of bringing back that old game mechanic that let you 'un-forge' gear for a dramatically reduced return of your gold/FSP is there?

I wish we could get a super special 9 piece set. Something that individually wasn't mega, but when fully worn had a set bonus that made up for the lack of additional SH bonus.

 

That would be cool.

I haven't voted on this idea because I just don't like it quite frankly.

It doesn't change the situation some people have when facing pvp players who are virtually untouchable because of their VL champions.

It still gives an epic win button to guilds that hold EoC players. (even more so than before actually)

 

Looks like this is going to be the preferred option though, and since this is Hoofs baby (FS) and he should change it how he see's fit. I'm just going to wash my hands and walk away. lol

It's your opinion, and maybe a few of your buddies. But to make a thread about it is only going to benefit no one, because there's no one who is harmed by a few players (maybe 10 in the whole game) who threw themselves on the bounty board to lose some levels. There are more smiles than tears over a few players who want to delevel...

 

lol dully, this isn't just about me and my 'buddies'. I'm not even sure most of the people who agree with me would qualify as buddies.

Reducing this to buddies, smiles and tears does not take away from the fact that this is a huge exploit of the levelling, top 250 guilds, bounty hunting and smasher medal aspects of the game. It needs to be crushed.

People delevel to get more guild XP. People complaining about it, that dont have the means to do delevel and relevel so this thread is the result

 

That's a little insulting boo, some people just also don't like to see exploits that go against the spirit of the game.

An even better question would be to ask, "Is it okay to exploit a loophole in the game?"

Then have the poll created be a public one. See how many people would openly admit to be an exploiter.

(If you don't want to admit you're an exploiter either don't vote, or vote the right way)

there are more gold/fsp gaining opportunities the higher level you are.. gold gained during hunts shouldn't be cacluated for hell forge costs

 

I don't understand what you mean there Jedi?

What extra opportunities do higher level players have that lower levels don't?

These poll results so far are just disgraceful. As it stands now with the downsides being voted off and the gold being voting in.

Hoof (if he follows the poll) is going to just make it even easier for players to exploit the game. :S

not if it was the same one for hundreds, even as little as a dozen levels.. you shouldn't be able to farm the same creature to gain 10+ levels.. that's just a ridiculous game mechanic.. 

 

My sentiments exactly, that's why I think the creature stat modifier based on your AL would be a perfect fix for this.

I saw an idea I really liked a little earlier in this thread. Was by dragon I think. (sorry if it was someone else)

 

What about applying a stat modifier to creatures depending on your AL in relation to the creature?

 

For example:

 

If you were 1-5 levels below the creature you were facing you would hit the creeps with full strength.

 • 6-10 levels (AL) below the creature and all your stats would be reduced to 50%

 • 11-15 level (AL) below the creature and all your stats would be reduced to 25%

 • 15+ levels (AL) and your stats would be reduced to 5%

 

 

I've seen many games that have this kind of feature, you stumble into a new area and run into a creep with a BIG red name (telling you it's much higher level than you) and when you try and attack it you can hardly scratch it. I think this would fit in nicely to the FS world and would even make sense in a role play 'lore' kind of way too.

It would also fix this stupid mega re-levelling loophole quite nicely.

I say boot people straight back to the mountain path if they lose too many levels.

If their VL and AL aren't within say 6 levels of the map they are sat in... Boom off back to the mountain path you go.

I specified 6 so people can't be de-mapped from a single bounty.

 

Adjusting the xp value still means that a player can get people to smash their bounty and then sit on one creature smashing away until they've regained their lost xp. Players should have to move around, change maps when they change level etc...
