This post is about the 1000-1099 ladder.. The one lone cat doesn't seem to be having any trouble.. Instead of asking for a change, how about joining in the fun

 

I'm not asking for a specific change, just pointing out an issue.  Regardless of each ladder outcome RJ, all things being equal, such as buffing, online presence, frequency of hits, the lone wolf doesn't stand a chance.  Just so happens that eg isn't hitting like I know he can, neither is JD, and I know that dude can buff up huge.

 

....I will be joining...I'm a teacher, I have 2 things to do....teach and kick ass, and guess what's done in 7 days?

I'll be taking over the Development Roadmap for Hoofmaster. I've updated the list and bumped back all dates to reflect the new time scale. I expect there may be some delays as I'm currently manning quite a few separate projects but I'll do my best and keep you guys informed!
 
The ordering of the roadmap was decided by the community on this thread on which you can also find more details about all the upcoming updates.
 
Note that the Development Roadmap excludes content updates for the game - the upcoming content updates can be seen on the Content Roadmap thread that BigGrim posted.

Not only are changes needed to the game, and this is nothing new, but what needs to be scrapped and redone is this Roadmap! It's a joke. We haven't seen anything done in months less some insignificant update teaser. This issue is almost as bad as having constant server issues and undoubtedly effects the user base and retention of players. Just inform us if the game's support is being reduced. Hiding from it doesn't make it go away.

 

Edit: So an apology is offered since I didn't take notice of the thread update. Let's hope Zorg can pick up the slack of the game's non content neglect. Good luck.

Not to undermine what your saying mate but this is hardly the first thing that comes to mind when you think of how "the ladder is Broked". 

 

What about the deflect on ladder hits, bounty board farming for rating, the token rewards that are nearly worthless and many other issues. 

 

I do understand what your trying to say. But how about instead we make the ladder an aspect of this game that actually attracts many players. 

 

However, I MUST agree that there are many things that ALSO need to be looked at in PvP.  If these things eliminate the need for the current ladder system, all the better.

Personally, I use Counter Attack for soloing Elites rather than using a group [with mercs].

I also hardly ever use groups for killing elites, you can solo every single elite on your own, just requires a bit of gumption and thought.

 

Having said that the mercs could do with a review and how they are acquired, I still believe a two tiered system with two taverns is the answer. One tavern for the high end mercs, which costs more for each search and a second tavern that has the lower end mercs in it which costs less for each search. Kind of like the scavenging caves, maybe make it two structures or an upgrade to the original structure?

Your choice.  I don't agree with it.  Do not assume that my level indicates a lack of knowledge, nor imply it.  Regardless, your post attempts to derail a subject.  Let's keep to the subject. 

The game long established that Merc's were a component seen as beneficial by the developers, HCS, and the game infrastructure in this regard has not kept pace with its advancement. 
 

Nothing was assumed nor implied by my one line stating a personal preference for method of killing Elites. Additionally, I was not attempting to derail the subject; I was simply replying to a post you made, in order to indicate that there are in fact people who use Counter Attack for Elites, rather than groups.

 

Also, I did agree in my first post in this thread that we need more up-to-date mercs available, so I don't know why you're lashing out at me.

Will you update the News Page to make this official?

 

It would really suck for those who would start their hunt on Monday expecting the double xp event extension, only to be told that the supposed extra day was just a suggestion and not final.

We've now implemented the changes to guild conflicts as planned on the Development Roadmap. When a  guild conflict is initiated now, only guild members who are level 50 or more are included when calculating valid guild members to take part. You must now be at least level 50 to take part in a guild conflict.
