Honestly, I really don't think we need more rewards PvP, just less penalty for it and more encouragement from HCS to bring other players into this field and show them that it is not actually the workings of Satan. Prestige and Ladder token/items were meant to bring more into PvP and reward those who were doing good. Where did that really get thiings?

 

Love to see a PvPGlobal Event to go with the Frag event that does:

 

  • Put all bounties on a hold until after event when timer will stat back up
  • Put PvP protection already bought also on hold until after event
  • All players put into Ladder, whether opted before hand or not
  • Only 10 stam attacks are allowed during event and none of the attacks can be bountied, during or after
  • 50% of xp taken is actually goes to attacker (only during event)
  • Rewards for pots placed on # of kills a player makes, maybe 50/day for length of event (some ranges are small, so could be even less with only 1 attempt/ hr)
  • XP lock is not available until after event
  • Players wishing to opt out can buy protection after event starts, but at a higher than normal cost, and forfeiting any chance of reward or ability to jump back in
  • Top 100 kill totals get bonus 2 Ruby chests, and all bracket winners get 1 bonus Ruby chest

 

I know. Dumb idea.

So if 2 inactives drop off the list, does that mean the #11 and #12 players are automatically in the monthly top ten?  Are they now eligible for a medal they wouldn't be eligible for otherwise?  If not, how do account for those spaces?  What happens when the inactive players return to the top ten and bump out the lower players?  I say leave the inactives on the list.

The problem with pvp i think is the ridiculous loss of levels you face for a 100 stam or 10 stam hit. Why would anyone want to try pvp for? i hit player A for 100 or 10 stam take say 1mill xp or whatever player "A" bounties me were i lose 5 full levels lmao really? thats not very encouraging to sway people to pvp i like the idea of whatever exp you stole multiply that a little and thats what you can lose on BB i bet you my FS account that would encourage alot of pvp to take place. Lots of people want to try pvp but nobody wants to lose 5 full levels for a gold hit or a random hit for prestige. I know the BB is a place for punishment so why not make a growing system that punishes for frequent offenders up to 5 lvls? like i hit once a day thats one bounty a day on me i get the first step of punishment but say i hit 5 or 10 people and have that many bounties at once i can lose the maximum? its a idea that can be improved on im sure just trying to help.

From what I've seen on this thread I'm starting to think that the big issue on BB is not the bounties on itself

(There are players that really want the BB alive => bounty hunters in general an other players that does some bounties once or another for the reward or even to work on smasher medal)

 

What I think that might be the big issue on it is the exp loss on BB (maybe this is what makes players to dislike pvp and think that bb is the best place to punish an player that attack him/her once or another time), by now the exp loss is 20%~500% exp (according to some players posts on this thread).

 

[I've seen some players mid-high level player with almost 10k stm that don't get not even 5 levels after an hunt with full stm, so maybe exp is really what threatens some players to avoid pvp an time or another]

 

After all that, I think it does only need to come up with an change on max exp loss on bounties (an reasonable max exp loss). Maybe 15%~330% exp loss (the player that was attacked must have lost about 10%) [the player on bb would still lose more exp than the player attacked] (bounty attacks making the target lose 1.5 times the normal exp loss on pvp attacks instead of 2 times exp loss). This change would no be bad for bounty hunters (if the player he attacked places him/her on bb), neither to players that pvp, and would let the bb more alive (since players would not fear so much if they go to bb) and it still would be good for the player that place the bounty (because there will be more players that would like to take his/her bounty).

That does seem to be the overwhelming opinion. 100 stam hits bounty-able, 10 stam hits, non bounty-able. Sounds reasonable to me!

 

Have you given this much thought? Have you considered this would allow for mass 10 stam delevel parties without any risk at all. How many players would it take to remove 5 levels with 10 stams? About 30 maybe? We've had many delevel parties in this game with more than that 100 stamming. This is just one more update that would deter pvp even more. If that's your plan it's a good one. :/

If you bother to read the thread, you'll see that we are looking at immunity for 10 stam hits. Anything higher, counter bounty as normal. 

 

And like I said previously, keep it civil.

There are many reasons as to why bounty hunters get counter bountied for 10 stam clears. Starting late, not hitting every 2 minutes, using spell breaker, using spell leach, quitting a bounty, ect......

 

Bounty hunting is not the issue. Its the lack of bounties that is the problem!

This is the norm, not the exception!

Open up all 100 stam hits for Smasher Medal and the lack of bounties will no longer be a problem.

Why has no one said anything about the removal of the bounty time clock? This was put in as a compensation when ALL hits became available to bounty. If you are taking this aspect back, are you also removing the stacking of multiple bounties? You CANNOT do both and consider it a fair deal.

I'm afraid to say we are simply running behind, though I am working on Quango Island Adventures while Iago looks to the new Content. We're looking to get both out as soon as we can.
 
Then, more Content (hopefully in a timely fashion) and the Storybook Forest after that.


Ok, well if you guys are still designing the content can I make a suggestion?

Can the quests this content give a few doubler 2000's as rewards to go with the milestone of reaching level 2000 :)

should of been open all weekend.. not just 2 1/2 days.. seems kinda restricted for something that is open once a year

 

Spring is still here until the Solstice. That is the 21st of June this year. This event is not tied to a hyper specific time like Christmas or Halloween. It couold appear again for two days during the rest of Spring.

I just tried it with Hell Hounds, setting Rare to Fragments (Auto Discard Level: blank)...Not Jademare drops with  ~100 kills...So my guess is it's not working as hoped :P

 

That's because if an item can't be fragmented, it is discarded directly. I wish they would separate Auto-Discard and Auto-Fragment.

I've been playing for 4 yrs. now and ( maybe) counting and see a lot of new innovations being implemented along the  course of this game and for me that's a positive indication that BG and Company and HCS in general are doing thier share to make this game enjoyable and exciting and of course to the FS community who shared thier individual ideas to make this game as it is right now. Bottom line is, when there's something NEW, thrill and excitement follows !!!
