Thank you to every one who voted and gave feedback on this. The poll is showing over 80% of players who voted on this approve of the change so we are going to go ahead and implement it later this week.

 

Shortly after this change, we are also going to implement improvements to Hell Forging which we have been discussing here.

You got a problem with two male characters getting married?

I haven't voted on this idea because I just don't like it quite frankly.

It doesn't change the situation some people have when facing pvp players who are virtually untouchable because of their VL champions.

It still gives an epic win button to guilds that hold EoC players. (even more so than before actually)

 

Looks like this is going to be the preferred option though, and since this is Hoofs baby (FS) and he should change it how he see's fit. I'm just going to wash my hands and walk away. lol

Sounds quite a lot like leos earlier idea of the gold level reset being infinite ?

Yeah, only real difference was mine was a gold sink as well :)

I still think a really simple solution to this would just be to adjust the xp based on how many levels higher the creature is than your actual level.

We're supposed to be ridding our world of evil creatures; why should we be bountied for doing this? Creature killers are the good guys. Have you ever read any of the monster descriptions? Nasty things they are! :P

I'm thinking 'x' FSP to reset to whatever level the player desires to reset to. And yes, that would solve that issue. Only downside to this solution is the activity the board is receiving now would see a big drop.

 

I think a gold per level decreased option would be ok, coupled with the % reduction in stats for creatures higher level than you.

 

As for the Bounty Board, it isn't really being used as intended at the moment anyway due to this.

Yeah rested exp is pretty low, I usually dont even leave my character insede an in before logging out, because the rested exp is so minimal that I dont care for it really.

It really needs a buff.

I saw an idea I really liked a little earlier in this thread. Was by dragon I think. (sorry if it was someone else)

 

What about applying a stat modifier to creatures depending on your AL in relation to the creature?

 

For example:

 

If you were 1-5 levels below the creature you were facing you would hit the creeps with full strength.

 • 6-10 levels (AL) below the creature and all your stats would be reduced to 50%

 • 11-15 level (AL) below the creature and all your stats would be reduced to 25%

 • 15+ levels (AL) and your stats would be reduced to 5%

 

 

I've seen many games that have this kind of feature, you stumble into a new area and run into a creep with a BIG red name (telling you it's much higher level than you) and when you try and attack it you can hardly scratch it. I think this would fit in nicely to the FS world and would even make sense in a role play 'lore' kind of way too.

It would also fix this stupid mega re-levelling loophole quite nicely.

Not really a big deal, but it seems a bit silly how weaving cloth goes under the same category for skill as growing crops and tending farm animals.
