What's the solution here?  

 

Should the package request be fully denied if any of the buffs are already active on the recipient? Should requests expire sooner? 

 

Or perhaps it should be left the way it is, so that buyers cannot request from every seller at once, and only the first who clicks Accept gets the sale? Some people do that, and it wastes the time of the sellers.

 

No solution is going to seem 100% fair from both sides.

the bold'n'underlined part of the quote is how i think it should work.. it's 100% fair for everyone.. wasting time of the buffers? pfft who cares at this point of a developing feature

 

think it's fair for a buffer to earn income for not buffing after accepting a buff request? no one wins but those who like taking advantage of people. 

 

nothing was wrong with being denied buffing a package because the requester had one or all of the buffs they requested already.. either you can ignore that request and move on in your life or actually have personal communication with the requester to work out a possible new package or discounted price *shrugs* we ARE playing a MMO, we shouldn't let robots do all the interaction around here

I had the same experience and 10 minutes is too long.   I suggest 3 or 5 minutes tops.

I will try using it again, but cautiously.

 

i agree with a lowering of the time limit for the request..

If the player requesting a Buff Package already has a buff of equal or higher level active when the seller accepts the request, the buff will be skipped and the rest of the package will be applied. (Note the onus is on the requester to ensure the relevant buffs in package can be cast on them.)

 

if this is making profit for buffers without even having to cast one buff, something is wrong.. 

 

can we discuss about getting rid of this?

 

if i can't buff my package due to the requester having one or more of the buffs, GOOD! i had no problem with it working like this.. i did have a problem when i noticed i charged a player full price for a buff package and it wasn't fully cast. i sent a message to the player asking them if they would want to deactivate the buff and get mine casted. 

 

never thought that this could be a big problem till i'm hearing players being double charged when only a single buff is requested.. 

 

due to this, i will not be requesting buffs from more than one player.. which will most likely end up me waiting 10 minutes for the autorefresh'r to not accept my requests.. and with there being no log message of a request sent out or a way to manage those, i'll have to keep my eye on the clock.. and i don't know if once it expires, am i given a message in the log?

 

this is too risky to be good for the overall of the buff market..

 

so please remove this part of the feature.

i would like to see the additional buttons for storing items and viewing the report in the pop up Guild Store..

trying to figure out how it would work though once you click it.. maybe clicking them open it to a new tab? or just load on current page? maybe a new popup interface for storing items and just have the Report one load it on the current page? *shrugs*

 

Add/Remove Tags should probably have their own buttons somewhere on here as well (only so much Paint i can handle right now :P )

 

i am NOT suggesting to remove these links from the Guild Manage page. just think having them in the pop up GS would be convenient. 

 

What is your thoughts, ideas, or desire(or lack of) for this suggestion?

Considering the cap was put in place due to a few people spamming up the featured listings with "silly" numbers, having a cap that restricts legitimate sales is frustrating.

i think one FSP per buff is a good restriction for the Buff Market.. what would you have it at? unless you are against a restriction all together?

it shouldn't be about what is 'needed' more.. we need them all the same  B)

 

i feel like potions and items need to have their own separate medals to show the achievement.. brewing potions is different than inventing equipment, even with them using the same interface and process within the Artisanship menu :P

No other sets will be changed. People will find uses for the others.

could of been said about the level 1800 set..

 

buffs like Chi Strike, Fortitude, Anchored, Ageless, and even the random mix of High Guard/Savagery could of made some uses outta the set.. not to mention, future sets - since this is a level 1800 set there are a LOT of holes to fill with new sets via legendary/crystal/scavenging drops and made with pvp token/arena resources 

 

wonder if a couple hours was enough time to really ask for an adjustment. was under a day enough time to make an adjustment based on 41 votes outta the 200+ players who are of level to wear the set, which some of the votes were from players who weren't of level anyways...

 

i hope stats aren't so easily adjusted after they are introduced into the game in the future..

i think once Folders are brought into EVERY transaction like ST/sending items, basically the only two ones that don't use the Folder system, there isn't a need for personal tagging. 

 

Breaking down to frags, AH listing, and Manage BP use Folders so don't see how you can accidentally break, list, or delete keepsakes if you use Folders...

 

..i do agree that Quest Items NEED a protection option (or atleast a warning when deleting it that it is used in a quest later on OR just have an ability to regain that item from a quest giver in game so players don't have to rely on the support system to get it back)

Any hit where there is XP lost shoud be bountyable, that is what the board is for.

if Conserve kicks in, should we be exempt from a bounty by that logic?

 

the bounty board is for punishment.. not for combatants who opt in for a tournament..

The seller will be given the option to be listed anonymously however.

why? .. if this is 'needed' for the buff marketplace, maybe we should do an anonymous auction house option as well  :rolleyes:

open up PvP.. do not put up more walls.. lowers the walls.. break down the walls.. SOMETHING needs to be done.. and hopefully soon. otherwise more players will leave, and for good.. it is very easy for HCS to get involved with making PvP more attractive but they don't.. which is sad...

Grinding profession levels is not 'interesting' (well at current time requirements), it is a chore to get to the more compelling PvE (or PvP) mechanics.
