This is an underwhelming potion, you can easily obtain a higher version of most of these skills for cheap. With that in mind cranking the duration to 300m will give it a unique use. IE overnight etc...

Warriors Elixir. Loyalty: 150 > 300
 
Fury Level : 200 Duration : 120m > 300m
Berserk Level : 200 Duration : 120m > 300m
Dark Curse Level : 200 Duration : 120m > 300m
Enchanted Weapon Level : 200 > 800 Duration : 120m > 300m
Wither Level : 200 > 300 Duration : 120m > 300m
Shatter Armor Level : 200 Duration : 120m > 300m


Higher levels can be obtained through ladder chest for MASSIVE DURATIONS. I think it is okay to crank the duration on these. 240m is a strategic in the fact that you can pop pride/bm and go to sleep and wake up and still have this active to capitalize on max stamina. This would likely be the main use of this potion.

Forgemaster Draft. Loyalty:  200
 
Epic Forge Level :  200 Duration : 120m > 240m
Epic Craft Level : 200 Duration :120m > 240m

 

 

Adding FI to this potion will help give this potion more identity. Along-side a slight conserve crank this will appeal to a more broad scope of players. The biggest complaint here is that EOC end game players cannot enjoy this update. With the suggested changes this is something they could consistently use in this update without cranking the potion levels higher than existing "Best Available" Potions. I am okay with leaving the token cost at 1k.

 

Rampage Potion. Loyalty:  1000
 
Animal Magnetism Level : 450 Duration : 120m
Conserve Level : 550 > 650 Duration : 120m
Find Item Level 1250 : Duration : 120m
 
Increasing the levels will not hurt much of the "Epic Hunting Potion" Market. Xmas boxes are the cheap go to for all things hunting, you can pick these up from anywhere for 60-100 FSP for AL/Lib/Con 750. This will be a treat to mid game players that even some earlier game players can enjoy if they stick with dailies. 
 
Potion of Divine Knowledge. Loyalty:  500 > 750
 
Adept Learner Level : 600 > 700 Duration : 120m
Librarian Level : 600 > 650 Duration : 120m
 
AS 1000 will have no use, mineaswell make another potion if it will remain at 1000. AS 1750 will allow for alternative hunting method if you want to put in the work. HUGE +1, knowledge and hard work should payoff with higher potential yield.
 
Potion of Precision Strike. Loyalty: 500 > 1000

Arterial Strike Level : 1000 > 1750 Duration : 120m
 

 

As far as PvP goes it's nice to have a potion to complement LUP. Most PvPer's have a nice blend of LUP opposed to 100% damage.

 

NEW

 

Base Booster. Loyalty: 300

Rage: 250 Duration: 240m
Fortify: 500 Duration: 240m

Evade: 500 Duration: 240m

Rockskin:  500 Duration: 240m

Aura of Protection: 500 Duration: 240m

Great Vigor: 500 Duration: 240m

 

Potion to replace BM500, unique potion that offers "Best Available" Pride. Composing has a ton of things, I don't think many people will mind adding Pride 300 to Loyalty.


NEW (to replace BM/Distil pot)


Insert Name. Loyalty 200

 

Pride: 300 Duration: 60m

Brewing Master 250 Duration: 60m

As suggested in the OP there are many people that will use almost nothing aside from doubler which is just QOL.

telling me no one uses these and when doubler comes out no one would still not use them? I been using these for tasks almost always(if the task seems worth it). at this point i will accept any change.

I really think a good thing would be to take advantage of duration from time to time. We don't always need a better potion with higher skills... However a worse potion with higher duration could be taken just as well for a fair few.

Lastly the above suggested are not overpowered however will also offer some use to those at all stages of the game.

i could settle for this BG! it'd make for a decent ladder potion, there were other ideas, perhaps better than this, tho i'd settle for this amendment! i feel as it is, it just would literally never be used unless it was 25 tokens then prob only by new players not knowing much, likely.
 
Tokens are more of a commodity now so it has to be worth selecting.
 
As you know, it would be sweet if none of these potions were a flop.

I think the concept for the Loyalty Potions itself is getting a bit out of hand, imo should offer two things:

 

1 - Offer one more reason for those who can donate, to donate more. (aka big pots with high cost)

 

2 - For those who can't afford to donate, offer enough of a reward to keep them logging in everyday, but not enough to create a conflict between other markets. (aka medium pots with low cost)

The prices and level for the loyalty potions should consider those two groups I believe, and offer stuff like a 'AL350, LIB350, CSV350, LF650, DBL750' for something like 150 Tokens (just an example), things that give someone starting the game a reason to stay playing it.....But also offer unique potions like DBL5000 for 2000 Tokens for those who donated enough to make use of those tokens.

A few things that I have in mind:

 

1 - Offer a Distil 100 for a cheap price like 25 Tokens.

 

2 - Global Booster potions shouldn't be so expensive, eventho the reasons behind why someone goes for a high kill count are for their own goals, they're still helping the comunnity to achieve the general goal and they shouldn't be 'penalized' by the high costs...And honestly, it would just change the time they leave the auto-reload tab open, not much else.

 

3 - Offer upgrades that are not potions, with a cap, like the Gold Upgrades section, nothing overpowered.

 

4 - Not offer anything essential (like AL, CSV, SH, BM,etc) with a level higher (or equal) than any non-GE Chest, people would just stop buying the Special Offer chests, which is against the whole idea of revamping the section to start with.

 

5 - Offer more medium level potions for cheap prices (for levelling and PvP).

 

6 - For PvP potions focus on increasing the time to make the prices more reasonable.

 

7 - Change the Allegiance Tokens system to an incremental system every 7 days (like 5, 5, 5, 5, 10, 10, 15 - total 55 per week), but it resets back to day one if the person didn't log in.

Still think this would be a perfect opportunity to introduce new skills into the game - skills that are already mentioned on the skills list, but don't currently exist.

Skills such as :-

 

Allied Frenzy, Block, Critical Strike, Gambler, Guild Berserker,  Immobilise Titan, Mastersmith, Perfection, Trendy and Warcry


Now, some of those may already exist, but not all do - I just quickly scanned thru the skills list for those that didnt look familiar to me as already existing.

If excess unusable tokens is the issue at heart here, then why not simply allow them to be traded into something else?  Maybe cash them in for current stamina or gold or current tradeable pots?  And at same time improve the potions rewards a little bit so they at least offer better than 175 lvl buffs.

Without sounding like a spoil sport, I personally think the levels of potions are already WAY WAY too big in many cases and should be being reduced not enhanced. There is no point in having huge doubler for example other than to allow those who have invested heavily (ridiculously heavily) in max stamina an opportunity to burn it quickly in a once or twice yearly hunt. If there is no content for them to advance into then this is pointless and has been for some time already. If content roll out can be advanced quicker than anyone can possibly level into it, like an expanding universe then fair enough, but need to be realistic here, that's not going to happen.

 

And as for distil 250??? Totally crazy, that should be reduced from 150 to 100.

 

I am all for a refresh of potions in the loyalty rewards, but let's not make them game breakers without thinking through the logic and the consequences. 

 

How about 'sensibly' changing the RP use options at same time as 'sensibly' changing the loyalty rewards?

 

All that will happen here given the suggestion is everyone ends up at EOC faster (if they haven't already purposely chosen not to do so), those players then de-level and generate more Gold and XP, and it becomes a tedious loop.

 

What next?, doubling of stamina regain?

 

The game needs a fundamental change in direction in my opinion, or at least a parallel stream that allows an alternative style of play without breaking or interfering with the OAPs who are happy with status quo and only ever log on click around a bit and log off every day (and that includes me ATM).

 

 

Sorry it is a thumbs down from me on this one.

 

If you wish to introduce some serious alternatives like hefty gold and xp loss, both at individual level and guild level through PvP and GvG, then I would be all for that.

distil 150 could be a loyalty pot BTW - we already have it in game and its not available year round also doesnt break anything

 

also why cant we have - loyalty upgrades? IE spend 2500 tokens on a backpack slot

I feel that this post was born out of the fact that some players would like to do a PvP DQ if the reward is sweet enough, yet have no targets.

A simple change to the PvP DQ could solve that.

Give the player a 2nd choice...reward remains the same

 

Defeat x active players in normal PvP or Defeat  xxx creatures.

 

No other task is needed, it is either defeat players or defeat creatures

 

 Once a click is made they are stuck with the choice.

 

Maybe this would entice pvpers to go kill some creatures for change  ;)

 

 

Another idea swimming in my head is having a lawless level, say every 1000 levels.

After next new content that would make 5 areas.

In those areas your pvp range increases to +/- 500 or even 1000.

you can invite some friends in there to wail on for your DQ or (pvpers would love this)

Hang out in the area waiting for a unsuspecting  leveler passing thru!

For the ladder - How about making it so only people on the ladder can cast buffs they have learned on themselves (no buffs from guildmates, friends, buff market, nothing). Oh, and no potions.

I can get behind this. If you can't defend yourself then thats your problem alone. I can't agree with the buff market. You are online and buying those buffs, not offline and getting buff bombed by guildies/friends.

The issue I see here is with GvG... how can your guild attempt to force a loss if they cant buff you since you're in ladder? how can the game know if you are casting for gvg and not ladder?

What about us snowflakes who prefer not to PVP :P

I would like however, that for the DQs all kills are counted. Not my problem if there are only three active players and I need to kill 10. If there are 10 accounts listed on find player, I should get credit for all 10 kills.

Gave this idea to a different thread so I'll mention it here.

Would like to see a new tab added to the GvG page that shows who is getting hit so members can react accordingly. Should make GvG easier to defend while making it harder for the attackers. No free RP here:)

Guild log can sometimes get spammed and some members wont notice that there is a conflict going on. Notification bubble that links to conflict page wouldn't hurt. There are times where I spam guild log and not notice a conflict.
