Live support would require more staff and resources which also need more revenue from the players to sustain. HCS is a small company and it needs more financial support as is. To implement beefier customer suppoirt indefinitely would be a large measure, even with the small playerbase. Great customer service is important, but as of right now the forums suffice. However, when the client is released on Steam and the game gets much bigger, it would definitely be appreciated.

I don't see why live support should ever be implemented for a game. It's a waste of resources and would only ever go to use like 5% of the time, the rest would be people likely spamming it for fun or asking dumb questions.

 

Eldevin is also a simple game in terms of mechanics. The quests, locations etc is stuff that people would need help with. I think improving the games overall "user friendly" state would benefit more. However in the meantime I believe some people edit the wiki which will eventually be useful.

I believe the most FAQ are about quests, so make the questbook better [which they are trying]. and leave the rest to learn as you grow. But that is how i like my games. imo
